raw- -HD winning is awesome. -I really like the graphics there. -Nice opening promo. i don't see a match happing between these two though for some reason. -makes sense for Kofi to go over, I hope you do something with Jack Swagger. I wonder why Sheamus attacked Kofi. -Nice Showmiz promo. -Cool to see Zeke still with Regal. No surprise that they won. -Awww Evan lost. But being that it was a US title match, I could see Evan being on raw more. And the fact that it wasn't a squash. -Nice HBK/HHH promo. But i have a feeling HHH will turn on Shawn and retire him for good -p -Nice main event I like Cena/Batista spilling out into the crowd. And Cody's interference -Good Show

April 30th, 2010 - LAS VEGAS
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
A WEEK OFF; We open up to see Matt Striker backstage with the seven NXT Rookies. He tells us that last week, Michael Tarver was unfortunate enough to be eliminated before WrestleMania, and was unable to experience the event. He says that that is in the past, and on NXT, they are always looking towards the future, and the next elimination will be next week, giving the Rookies a safe night tonight. We see the Rookis breathe a sigh of relief as Striker says it. However, he says that although they have a night off eliminations, they do not have a night off of action, and tonight, we will see two matches. He tells us that they will be Rookie exclusives, featuring no WWE talent in action tonight. He tells us that we will see David Otunga and Darren Young taking on Heath Slater and Skip Sheffield and our Main Event will be a rematch of two weeks ago when Justin Gabriel goes head to head with Wade Barrett. Striker then turns around and speaks personally to Daniel Bryan. He says "And you, Daniel, I have been told that The Miz wishes you to go out to the ring later tonight to have a face to face confrontation, that's all I know." Bryan doesn't look pleased, but nods his head and leaves, as do the rest of the Rookies as we fade to the arena.
DAVID OTUNGA & DARREN YOUNG def. HEATH SLATER & SKIP SHEFFIELD; The mentors of all four men in this match competed at WrestleMania, but none picked up a victory. The Rookies look to outdo their mentors and gain a victory here, without the Pros, proving themselves to the WWE Universe. The match took a huge turn when Darren Young raked the eyes of Heath Slater and then threw him into David Otunga who planted him with a Spinebuster for the victory. After the match, Skip Sheffield entered the ring to help Slater, but Darren Young wanted some of Otunga's limelight and decided to attack Sheffield. He plants him with a rough DDT and then taunts to the crowd. Otunga smirks at him and the two celebrate, leaving Slater and Sheffield in the ring. We then fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
We return to see a package advertising WWE Extreme Rules, airing on the 25th of April, 2010. We then return to WWE NXT.
GABRIEL SPEAKS WITH HARDY; We see Justin Gabriel preparing for his match against Wade Barrett later tonight, along with his mentor, Matt Hardy. We hear Hardy say that he sin't allowed out there tonight, so he wants to make sure they get in some decent preparation for the match. Gabriel agrees, and says he would like to take this opportunity to thank Hardy for all his support so far. Hardy smiles and gives him a friendly hug, but the moment is crushed as Chris Jericho walks onto the scene with his Rookie, Wade Barrett. Jericho chuckles to himself and says "What a sweet moment that was... makes me sick!". Hardy scowls as Barrett laughs at his mentor's comments. Jericho says that tonight, Barrett will crush Gabriel, just like he did last time. Hardy is about to reply, but then Gabriel steps in, telling Hardy that he can take care of this. Jericho smirks and turns to Barrett. Gabriel tells Jericho that he is a very good wrestler, and that he respects him, but his mouth gets in his way. Jericho laughs, saying "A rookie trying to give tips to me? Haha, how ridiculous." Barrett steps forward and tells Gabriel that Mr. Jericho is a fine mentor, better than Mr. Nobody, Matt Hardy. Hardy is about to swing for Barrett, but Gabriel calms him down. Barrett says he'll see Gabriel in the ring. Barrett and Jericho walk off as Gabriel and Hardy look on in anger. We then cut to the ring.
DANIEL BRYAN CONFRONTS THE MIZ; Daniel Bryan enters to a pop and speaks to the WWE Universe. He says that he has no idea why he is out here, but apparently The Miz wants to speak with him, so here he is. We then hear the theme of The Miz who comes out... accompanied by the Big Show. ShowMiz enter the ring to a lot of heat. The Miz says that he personally asked the production team to leave Bryan off the show tonight, just so they could have this 'chat'. He says that last week, Bryan got what he deserved when the Big Show destroyed him, and he was thinking of having it done again this week. Bryan gets ready to fight, but Show just chuckles. He grabs the microphone from The Miz and tells Bryan that even if he was ready, he wouldn't be able to take him down. The Miz gets the microphone back and tells Bryan that if he wants, he can organize a fight between him and Big Show. The crowd cheer as Daniel Bryan looks on unsure. He looks at the crowd, hoping for an answer, which appears to be a clear yes. Bryan says "Miz, if it means getting one step closer to defeating you again, then I'm all for it." The Miz then says that it is set then, and next week, Daniel Bryan will face the Big Show. Daniel Bryan turns to leave, but Big Show spins him around and drills him with a Knockout Punch, dropping him in the center of the ring. ShowMiz stand tall with huge grins on their faces as they raise the title belts high. We then fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
JUSTIN GABRIEL def. WADE BARRETT; A rematch from two weeks ago, these two Rookies go head to head in hopes of making their mentors proud. The two lock up and go back and forth, much like their previous match, however, this time, Justin Gabriel was the one who got the advantage, and kept it. Without Chris Jericho at ringside to interfere, Gabriel succesfully downed Barrett and manages to connect with the 450 Splash, getting himself a victory. Justin Gabriel celebrates as Barrett rolls out of the ring.
ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE; Suddenly, the celebration is cut short by Chris Jericho who enters the ring and delivers a thunderous Codebreaker to Gabriel. Jericho stands tall with a smirk on his face, but not for long, as Justin Gabriel's mentor, Matt Hardy rushes to the ring and chases Jericho off. Jericho and Barrett leave ringside, shouting at Hardy. Hardy checks on Gabriel, much like two weeks ago, Jericho and Barrett once again stand tall to finish, however, this week, it was Gabriel with the ultimate victory. We fade to a close on a shot of Jericho and Barrett smirking.

April 2nd, 2010 - LAS VEGAS
Yoshi Tatsu def. Curt Hawkins
Vladimir Kozlov def. Jimmy Wang Yang
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
We open the show without pyrotechnics this week as we are greeted with the theme of Chris Jericho to a tone of heat from the Las Vegas crowd. Jericho enters the ring and begins to speak to the WWE Universe.
JERICHO WANTS A REMATCH; Jericho tells us that this past Sunday at WrestleMania, he believes he was unfairly defeated by The Undertaker and demands a rematch tonight. He says that he knows he can defeat The Undertaker, and he is the deserving owner of the World Heavyweight Championship. He tells us that he will do whatever it takes to get another title shot, and when he does, he will walk out victorious. General Manager, Theodore Long walks out with a serious look on his face. He says "Chris Jericho, you will not be receiving any rematch tonight!". The crowd cheer as Jericho goes mad, but he isn't finished. Long says "However, if you do want a rematch, you can have one at Extreme Rules in 3 weeks... if you can win your match tonight in he Main Event. And tonight, you will go one on one with none other than... Kane!" The crowd go wild as Jericho becomes enraged. He shouts that he shouldn't have to earn his way back to the title, he should get his rematch immediately. But Long just wishes him good luck and leaves as we fade to a promo package.
We see a promo package for WWE Extreme Rules, airing on April 25th, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
EDGE & CHRISTIAN def. THE DUDEBUSTERS; Edge and Christian came up short at WrestleMania, losing at the last minute to The Miz and the Big Show. However, that hasn't killed their spirit as tonight, they have a tag team match to redeem themselves, and it pays off. The match closes up when Christian delivers a huge Killswitch to Trent Barreta, picking up the victory. After the match, Edge grabs a microphone and declares that he and Christian wants a rematch at Extreme Rules for the Unified Tag Team Championships, just them. Christian then speaks, saying that they have already spoken to Theodore Long and permission has been granted, and therefore the match is made. We then cut backstage.
REY MYSTERIO GETS ATTACKED; Backstage, we are taken into a segment, mid-attack. We see Rey Mysterio getting beaten down by Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler screams "You cost me the Money in the Bank briefcase, it was mine!". Officials rush to break it up and manage to drag Ziggler away, but the damage has already been done. Mysterio is tended too by officials as we fade to ringside.
JEFF HARDY RETURNS; 'No More Words' hits the system and the crowd go nuts, Jeff Hardy making his entrance. Hardy enters the ring for the first time since showing up at WrestleMania to save John Morrison from the twisted Straight Edge Society. He begins to speak to the WWE Universe. He tells the fans "It feels great to be back. After a while away from the WWE, I finally realized that this is my home, and wrestling is where I belong, and so here I am. At WrestleMania, I was backstage, waiting for the opportune moment, knowing that at some point, CM Punk would be vulnerable. I was expecting more of a backstage encounter, but I wasn't going to stand there and let him humiliate a friend, namely John Morrison." The crowd cheer at the mention of Morrison's name. We then hear Morrison's theme and he makes his way to the ring, shaking hands with Hardy. Morrison speaks and says "Jeff, I would like to thank you for your help at WrestleMania, and I think it would be great if we joined forces to battle against Te evil Straight Edge Society." Hardy nods in agreement, but the union is cut short by CM Punk's theme. He comes out along with Luke Gallows and Serena and speaks. He says "Why couldn't you have just stayed away, Jeff? Nobody wanted you and your addiction filled self back on SmackDown, we were glad to be rid of you". The crowd boo Punk, obviously disagreeing. He says that although he was glad to see the back of Hardy when he forced him to leave, he is glad to see him back... so he can send him home one more time. Punk smirks as his theme plays. We then fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
TIFFANY def. MICHELLE MCCOOL; Tiffany is making her in-ring debut here after disappearing from our screens after the demise of ECW. She puts up a fantastic fight against McCool, but in the long run, gets beaten down. However, thanks to some interference from Beth Phoenix, McCool became distracted which allowed Tiffany to hit a Diving Crossbody on McCool, picking up her debut victory. Tiffany escapes the ring along with Beth Phoenix as Layla assists McCool inside the ring. Beth Phoenix motions for th Womens Championship, which causes McCool to grip it tight. We then fade backstage.
BACKSTAGE WITH BATISTA; Josh Mathews is standing by with Batista to a ton of heat. He asks Batista why he continues to appear on Raw, despite him being a SmackDown star. Batista tells him "Josh, I say screw SmackDown, it has nothing for me, not even the World Heavyweight Championship. My destiny lies on Raw, and that destiny is me, standing over the body of John Cena where he is physically unable to compete ever again. SmackDown has nothing of interest, and I am already in talk with Theodore Long to get me moved over there. Trade two, three, even four guys to SmackDown, it will be worth it to seeme destroy John Xena each and every week until there is nothing left to destroy." Batista walks off leaving Mathews very disturbed. We then cut back to the arena.
DOLPH ZIGGLER & MIKE KNOX def. REY MYSTERIO & R-TRUTH; Rey Mysterio was clearly hurting from the attack earlier at the hands of Dolph Ziggler. This played a part in the match, giving both Ziggler and Knox a focal point. R-Truth tried his best to keep Mysterio out of the match, trying to save him from further injury, but Ziggler kept forcing him to tag in. Eventually Dolph Ziggler stopped R-Truth from getting in the ring while Mike Knox delivered a thunderous Knox Out to finish off Mysterio. Atfer the match, Ziggler entered the ring and mocked Mysterio before lifting him up and then driving him back down with the ZigZag. Ziggler and Knox stood tall as R-Truth tended to his friend. We then cut to a promo package.
We see a promo package for the WWE Draft, being held on the 26th of April, the night after WWE Extreme Rules. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
JERICHO MEETS EDGE, AGAIN; Backstage, we see Jericho preparing for his match later tonight against Kane. Edge walks into the locker room and both men have a staredown. Jericho mocks Edge, saying that he couldn't even defeat the JeriShow rip-off at WrestleMania for the Unified Tag Team Championships. Edge tells him that he shouldn't talk because he failed to break the Streak and lost to The Undertaker. Jericho tells Edge that he plans on defeating Kane later tonight and going on to Extreme Rules to defeat The Undertaker for the World Title. Edge reminds Jericho that he promised him the first title shot if he does ever defeat The Undertaker. Jericho says that he couldn't forget. Edge then leaves the locker room as Jericho smirks. We then cut to ringside.
SHELTON BENJAMIN def. DAVID HART SMITH VIA DQ; Smith came out to the ring with Tyson Kidd and Natalya to face the brand new Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin was pumped, ready to take on whoever stood before him, happier than ever to hold the belt once again. Just as Benjamin was building momentum, Drew McIntyre rushed to the ring and slid in, attacking him. The referee rang for the bell as The Hart Dynasty left. McIntyre dropped Benjamin with the Future Shock and then grabbed the Intercontinental Championship. He then held i high, claiming that it was his as we fade backstage.
We see Kane walking down a corridor with dim, red lighting as NEXT pops up on the bottom left of our screens. We then cut to a promo package.
We see a package for next weeks SmackDown, hyping that The Cutting Edge will return with Guests, the Unified Tag Team Champions, The Miz and the Big Show. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
CHRIS JERICHO def. KANE; Chris Jericho comes out with his NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett. Jericho was set on winning this match, craving his rematch at Extreme Rules, but Kane was set out to stop him from facing his brother. Kane puts up a valiant effort, taking the fight to Jericho, but in the end, it was a Chokeslam reversed into a Codebreaker what put the Big Red Monster away, and gave Jericho the victory. Jericho celebrated, knowing he had his rematch at Extreme Rules. However, the celebration suddenly stopped as Jericho had a sadistic smile on his face. He left the ring to get a steel chair and then re-entered. He then began smashing it against the spine of Kane, causing him to shout in pain.
THE UNDERTAKER COMES TO KANE'S AID; Suddenly, a bell gong tolls and the lights go out. The lights return to another gong, but Kane has gone, and instead, The Undertaker stood before Jericho. Jericho jumped, and reacted with a chair shot, but Undertaker grabs the chair and throws it aside. He then grabs the throat of Jericho, but Wade Barrett intervenes and delivers a low blow to the Phenom, dropping him to his knees. Jericho and Barrett manage to escape with smiles on their faces and Undertaker struggles back to his feet. SmackDown fades to a close on the angered face of The Undertaker.

Okay Dokay! Lets get this show on the road (I'm LAME!) A great opening promo there, which was very realistic. Kane vs Jericho will be a great main event, and I hope Jericho wins another shot at the gold. the opening match between DB and E&C was pretty cool, and a rematch at Extreme Rules between ShowMiz and themselves will be great! I see a ladder match stip being put in place. Another Ziggler and Rey feud will be cool, hopefully Zig can beat him this time. Hardy and Morrison joining forces is interesting, but I'm wondering when Matt will get involved in the feud. Its inevitable he will, I'm sure of it. Tiffany wins her singles debut on Smackdown! which is awesome stuff. I hope Michelle loses the Championship soon to Beth. Batista leaving Smackdown! now is good IMO, it allows another trade to be made at the draft, which is always good. Rey's injuries will have played a part in his teams loss tonight. Glad Ziggler is getting more heat by attacking him again, but I hope there will be a story to the feud. Looking back though, it looks like its about some misplaced anger on Ziggler's part, which is great. Thats interesting, at least to me, to see a possible Edge and Jericho feud rear its head again, although I suspect it'll just be a one off encounter if they do meet for the belt. Benjamin losing via DQ is fine, it gets Drew heat. CE next week will be fun. Maybe a Peep Show return, and MizTV C; . Jericho wins and earns a title shot at ER. Great stuff. The chair shots make me think there could be a possible Chair Match stip? Taker attacks, but Barrett saves. I expected Barrett would get involved at some point, and that was the perfect time for it. A good way to close the show.
A great edition of Smackdown here, Elliot. Can't wait till Monday for RAW!

NXT - Nice to see only rookies competing on this edition. - Glad to see Otunga and Young win in this one. - Good segments with Gabriel/Hardy/Wade/Jericho along with ShowMiz/Bryan. - Glad to see Gabriel getting the win, but not as fond about the post-match attack from Jericho. I mean, Jericho was just in the main event at Mania and this makes it seem like a feud that I really don't see as necessary.
Nonetheless, good NXT.
Smackdown - Jericho vs Kane sounds interesting. - E&C over The Dudebusters is the obvious right call, and them getting a rematch is nice. - Not too sure of Ziggler attacking Rey, but ok. Nice segment from Hardy/JoMo/SES. - Phoenix distracting McCool to give Tiffany the win is a nice call. Don't see her as a wrestler yet. - Ziggler and Knox picking up the win is nice to see. Unsure about Rey and Ziggler in a match, but ok. - McIntyre attacking Benjamin in seek of revenge is good to see to cause the disqualification, but wasn't really needed. I believe it could of been done if Shelton won the match against Smith - which wouldn't mean much but get him over - and then attack though. - Jericho over Kane is the right call. The post-match stuff was good as well.
Good Smackdown.

NXT -A week off from elimination is good, so the show won't end too soon. The face to face should be great -Otunga and Young winning is something I liked and the heel tactics by both were great -The backstage segment was good, pure Jericho -Bryan/Show should be interesting. I have a feeling Bryan will pull off an upset -Gabriel winning the main event was solid and Jericho & Barrett standing tall was good
Smackdown -Jericho having to earn a rematch is good, should be a nice main event -E&C winning was obvious and them against ShowMiz at Extreme Rules should be awesome, hoping it's TLC or something like that -Another Ziggler/Mysterio feud would be amazing, they had great matches in the summer -Good segment with Hardy, Morrison & the SES. I loved what Punk said -Tiffany beating the Women's Champion was surprising -Batista's sick mindset wherehe only wants to destroy Cena is good. btw, you spelled Cena wrong in this segment -You also put Mystery instead of Mysterio here. Glad Ziggler and Knox won here, purely because of Ziggler -I like that the Edge/Jericho stuff is still going strong even after they didn't meet at 'Mania -Continuing the McIntyre/Benjamin feud is interesting -Jericho getting the shot is good, and Barrett helping him take down the Undertaker is great. Makes their relationship even stronger
Good NXT, very good Smackdown. Here's hoping Jericho takes the gold at Extreme Rules.

WWE RAW: Monday 29th March 2010...Wow, interested in where you're going with the Hart Dynasty defeating MVP and Mark Henry. I like that Bret Hart opened RAW, when everybody would most likely expect to see somebody else open the show. Randy Orton interrupting Bret was pretty dramatic though, after Bret went through hell and thirteen years to get his hands on Vince McMahon. Good threat by Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, also a fine explanation to Cody betraying Ted Dibiase. Kofi Kingston beating Jack Swagger is obvious, since Kofi is now Mr Money in the Bank. Good win for Kofi though, as it makes him a tiny bit more credible. Sheamus attacking Kofi however, lets me predict that we are a very long way away from seeing Kingston cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase. A feud between those two would be interesting. Gail Kim, Mickie James and Beth Phoenix beating Maryse, Michelle McCool and Layla is fine, not a bad match. Phoenix and McCool feuding would be pretty neat to see, just confused why we're seeing this when this should be on SmackDown. Ezekiel Jackson and William Regal make an interesting pair, and an obvious win for them over Primo and Santino Marella; the combination of stereotypes. Zeke is in for a good rise to the top, I'm sure. Looking forward to the WWE Draft 2010, on the April 26th edition. The Miz beating Evan Bourne is fine; good defense by the WWE United States Champion. ShoMiz continue to be an entertainment combination as WWE Unified Tag Team Champions. Hmm, I feel that Shawn Michales should have main evented the show with his promo, it looked odd in this position on the card. Triple H's involvement was great; touching promo. Randy Orton and Batista overthrowing John Cena and Ted Dibiase is fine, a solid main event. Overall, it was a packed edition of RAW; couldn't expect better after WrestleMania XXVI.
WWE NXT: Tuesday 30th March 2010...Michael Tarver eliminated from NXT first is fine, and good introduction to the program with Matt Striker, running things down. David Otunga and Darren Young beating Heath Slater and Skip Sheffield is all fine, as Otunga continues to shine. I can't see much at all in Slater, really. Otunga and Sheffield are the ones in the match with most charisma and gimmick. Justin Gabriel's segment with Matt Hardy; Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett getting involved reflected the segment that aired just after the beginning of the show in February, where Barrett and Gabriel fought in the main event. I think it was like Week Three or Four. Daniel Bryan getting air time with The Miz is great, as it allows him to try and advance his mic skills: his promo on the actual NXT this week was craptacular. Justin Gabriel beating Wade Barrett is good; Jericho and Barrett standing tall at the end of the show is good. Gabriel, Barrett, Otunga and Bryan are the shining features of NXT.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 2nd April 2010...Yoshi Tatsu beating Curt Hawkins is fine, not a bad bout there. Vladimir Kozlov over Jimmy Wang Yang simply gets Kozlov over. Simple as that. I'm just a bit unsure about there was only one match for the RAW side, and one proper match for the SmackDown side, then one squash match: thinking realistically, these three matches wouldn't make for an hour's programming. But that's me thinking too far into things. Chris Jericho demanding a rematch to kick off the show is good; fine promo with Theodore Long interrupting and jeopardising the chance of Jericho having a rematch by putting Kane in the way. Sweet. Edge and Christian beating Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta is fine, a decent opening bout featuring Edge and Christian ploughing through the seemingly modernised version of E&C, C&B. A rematch with Chris Jericho and Big Show at Extreme Rules sounds good. Jeff Hardy's promo was sound and simply got things going with John Morrison and his rivalry with the Straight Edge Society. I want a tag team match to occur at Extreme Rules; not a triple threat match though. Combining Hardy and Morrison's business with CM Punk would be a great idea. Tiffany beating Michelle McCool was surprising, a new contender to the WWE Womens Championship, though. Dolph Ziggler (German Ziegler?) and Mike Knox beating Rey Mysterio (Mystery?) and R-Truth is fine; a solid bout there though. I'm just unsure about Mysterio losing to Knox. Shelton Benjamin beating David Hart Smith is fine, I did like Drew McIntyre's attack over the WWE Intercontinental Championship, but I feel that Tyson Kidd should have done something. His purpose here was random. Chris Jericho beating Kane is fine; Wade Barrrett if he was to get involved with Kane, then that would have elevated him and gave him something to do i.e. Bryan and Miz. All of the NXT Rookies need to progress in good storylines with superstars or other Pros, or somebody else. Chris Jericho beating Kane was obvious, though, and fine idea for The Undertaker to make the save. A decent show overall; RAW was the best of the week, though.

April 5th, 2010 - Moline, ILLINOIS
Carlito & Chavo Guerrero def. Chris Masters & Goldust
Rosa Mendes def. Eve
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
The pyrotechnics explode from the stage, followed swiftly by a welcome from Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler. They inform us that tonight, much like last week, Raw is without a Guest Host due to Mr. McMahon's inability to contact people, due to injuries suffered at the hands of Bret Hart at WrestleMania. But they do assure us that Mr. McMahon will be here next week on Raw, and we will have a Guest Host in the form of David Hasselhoff as WWE takes a trip across the pond to London, England. They are cut off to the theme of Ted DiBiase to a pop from the crowd, once again using his 'Priceless' theme, solidifying his break from The Legacy.
DIBIASE GOES IT ALONE; DiBiase enters the ring with a smile on his face, obviously feeling good about the cheers he is getting from the crowd. He thanks the crowd, saying he feels so much better now he is apart from Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, he says he feels free to roam, and can finally show his full potential. DiBiase reminds us that last week, he was once again beaten down by Orton and Rhodes following the Tag Team match. He says that even though it was Randy Orton that collected the pinfall and stood over him to close the show, he feels that the whole problem all this time has been Cody Rhodes. He says that as sadistic and viper-like as Orton is, he feels that Rhodes is the source of his anger, and tonight, he reveals that he has been granted a one-on-one match with Rhodes by backstage officials. He says that if he gets rid of Rhodes from the situation, the problem will be solved, and then he can take Orton on alone and they can sort it out, once and for all. However, DiBiase is interrupted by 'It's a New Day', the theme of Cody Rhodes. Rhodes stands on the stage and speaks to DiBiase and the WWE Universe. He says "Ted, you're saying I'm the problem? Last time I checked, Randy chose to get rid of you, not me... you were the problem!". DiBiase says "Yes, he did, but Cody, I would put my money on you getting on your knees and kissing Randy's boots, begging him for it to be me than got kicked out, and not you." The crowd cheer as Rhodes gets angry. Rhodes says he will look forward to destroying him tonight, and proving that he is the future of Raw, and not DiBiase. Rhodes drops the microphone and we fade to a promo package.
We see a Raw Rebound package, showing us Shawn Michaels making an emotional departure from the WWE on Raw. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
RANDY SEEMS UNSURE; We return to Raw to see Cody RHodes arriving back at the Legacy locker room. He walks in with a smirk on his face to see Randy Orton sitting on a chair, his WWE Title over his knee and his head in his hands. Rhodes asks him if he saw his little encounter with DiBiase just then. Orton looks up at him and says that he did, and he didn't like it one bit. Rhodes asks him why, and Orton tells him that what DiBiase said makes sense, and that Rhodes was pretty much begging him to stay in Legacy, and it was him who influenced him to kick Ted out. Rhodes tells Orton to hold on, and says that it is quite clear that DiBiase was the right choice, because he is the weak link. Orton stands up and says "I have a non-title match with Triple H in the Main Event, I need to focus on that, but once that's over, my focus will be on you and Ted." Rhodes asks him what he's talking about, and Orton tells him that Legacy is over, all three of them, and that it's time for them all to go their separate ways. Orton leaves as Rhodes looks shocked. He then starts to look a bit worried as we cut to ringside.
BIG SHOW def. MVP; Big Show comes out with The Miz, and MVP comes out with Mark Henry. This was a relitively quick match, clearly created to give an upper hand to ShowMiz, running into Extreme Rules is just under three weeks. After a quick distraction from The Miz, Big Show spun MVP around and drilled him with a Knockout Punch to pick up the victory. After the match The Miz grabbed the microphone and said that this Friday on SmackDown, they will be guests on The Cutting Edge, and he says they plan to make sure that Edge and Christian know exactly who are the dominant Tag Team in the WWE today. He drops the microphone and we fade backstage.
KINGSTON GETS INTERVIEWED; We see Kofi Kingston backstage with Josh Mathews. Mathews asks him what he thinks to Sheamus' attack on him last week. Kingston says that Sheamus has shown some kind of hatred towards him in the past few weeks, even before WrestleMania, and he doesn't know why. Before he can continue, Sheamus jumps him from behind and knocks him to the floor. He picks him up and throws him into a steel girder in the interview area. Sheamus then grabs the Money in the Bank briefcase and stares at it before throwing it down to Kingston. He then walks off as we fade to a promo package.
We see a promo package for WWE Extreme Rules, airing on the 25th of April, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
SHEAMUS def. EVAN BOURNE; Bourne had a fantastic match last week, inches away from becoming the new United States Champion, but it just wasn't to be. This week wasn't as good for Bourne as he was destroyed by a very angry Sheamus. Sheamus looked more focused than ever and finished Bourne off with a Crucifix Powerbomb for the victory. Afterwards, Sheamus got on the microphone and declared that he wanted Kofi Kingston's Money in the Bank briefcase, and challenged him to a match with it on the line. Suddenly, Kofi Kingston's theme hits and he runs to the ring, sliding and and beginning to trade blows with Sheamus. Kingston manages to back Sheamus out of the ring and grabs the microphone which Sheamus dropped. He says that he accepts the challenge for next week on Raw, with the briefcase on the line. Sheamus smirks at Kingston as we cut backstage.
JOHN CENA BUMPS INTO A NEW FACE; John Cena is seen walking backstage to a huge pop. He passes a few Raw superstars before eventually bumping into... Vickie Guerrero, who gets a huge amount of heat. Vickie smiles at Cena, but doesn't get a mutual reaction. Cena asks Vickie why she is here if she is on SmackDown. Vickie says that she was fed up of being embarrassed by her boyfriends who couldn't win matches to save their lives, so she has agreed to be traded to Raw and assist the Guest Host each week to run Raw. Cena rolls his eyes and continues to walk, but Vickie stops him. She says that her first act as Raw's Official Consultant is to make a match, and it will be John Cena versus Ezekiel Jackson... next! The crowd pop as Cena nods his head. He then continues to walk, turning to go to the ring as we fade to a promo package.
We see a promo package, telling us that on the April 26th edition of Raw, the WWE Draft will take place in a 3-hour special. We then return to Raw.
JOHN CENA def. EZEKIEL JACKSON VIA DQ; The match was going in the favour of Ezekiel Jackson to open up, showing us the dominance we are becoming ever so familiar with over the past few weeks. William Regal cheered Jackson on throughout the match. However, John Cena came back and got some momentum building, eventually setting Jackson up for an Attitude Adjustment, but before he could hit it, Batista slid into the ring and Speared Cena to the canvas, forcing the referee to call for the bell. Jackson and Regal left ringside and Batista began the attack.
BATISTA STRIKES AGAIN; He destroyed Cena ramming him multiple time into the steel steps on the outside. He then tore off the top set of steps and threw the bottom ones into the ring. He then set up Cena for a Batista Bomb, planning to drive him into them, much like he did at Elimination Chamber. However, before he could do it, the theme of Bret Hart hit the arena and he came as fast as he could to the ring. Batista dropped Cena and fled from the ring as Hart shouted at Batista. Batista grabbed a microphone from ringside and proceeded to say "Cena, I will continue to rip you to pieces as long as I have a breath in me! There is nothing your buddy Bret Hart, or anyone else can do to stop me! Cena, you're as good as dead!" Batista smirks sadistically as he leaves to his theme. Bret Hart tends to the motionless body of Cena as we fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
TED DIBIASE def. CODY RHODES; After the unusual events of earlier tonight, nobody was sure how this was going to pan out. It seems the The Legacy has ultimately imploded and all three men are now seperate superstars. These two battled it out without Randy Orton there to help either. Rhodes seemed slightly angered at what transpired earlier today, Orton leaving him alone and DiBiase blaming everything on him. However, the frustration may have hindered him in this match as DiBiase takes control, eventually locking in the Million Dollar Dream and following it up with the Dream Street for the victory. DiBiase celebrated as the crowd cheered and Rhodes left the ring in disappointment. We then fade backstage.
TRIPLE H IS READY; Josh Mathews is once again backstage, this time with Triple H. He asks him how he feels about getting the chance to take on Randy Orton once again, even if it is non-title. Triple H says even thought there is some clear dislike between the two of them, the respect is still there, but tonight, he is going to go all out and defeat Orton, climbing his way back to the WWE Championship. Mathews then asks him how it is without his friend Shawn Michaels around. He tells Mathews that it is hard knowing that Shawn has gone for the time being, but he knows he'll be back and DX will be stronger than ever when he does, but right now, it's time to focus on his singles career, and it begins tonight. He walks off as we fade to ringside.
GAIL KIM & KELLY KELLY def. MARYSE & ALICIA FOX; A quick Divas match, obviously to elevate the Divas Championship feud between Gail Kim and Maryse. It was a rather back and forth match, despite it's length. The match came to a close when Gail Kim hit Alicia Fox with the Eat Defeat, following by the hook of the leg. Gail Kim made sure that Maryse knew she was coming for her Championship, and Maryse paid attention, but laughed it off, showing her belt off to the crowd, despite the boos she was receiving. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
ABRAHAM WASHINGTON SPEAKS; Backstage, we see Abraham Washington and Tony Atlas, standing in front of a white backdrop, speaking directly to the camera. Washington tells us that his show has had a recent on/off appearence system on Raw, but as of next week, it will be in full effect. He tells us that next week, the guest on his show will be none other than the Chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon when he makes his return from what Washington calls an 'undeserved beating' from Bret Hart. Washington tells us all to be ready as the greatest weekly WWE talk show return to Raw next week! We then return to Raw.
TRIPLE H def. RANDY ORTON; Randy Orton seemed to be slightly off focus tonight, clearly having The Legacy on his mind. Triple H was ready to take control of Raw once more and defeat the Champion, and that's exactly what he did. Orton was in control most of the way, working over Triple H as much as he could, keeping him grounded. However, it all went against Orton when Cody Rhodes ran to the ring. Rhodes was coming down obviously to redeem himself in Orton's eyes and suck up to him, by helping him win this match, but he accidentally cost Orton when he tried to grab Triple H's leg, but the whip was reversed and instead he tripped Orton up. Rhodes held his mouth with his hand in shock as Orton got to his feet and shouted at Rhodes. But the damage was done as when Orton turned around, he was kicked in the gut and driven to the canvas with a Pedigree, giving Triple H the victory. Triple H then leaves ringside in celebration.
ORTON ISN'T PLEASED; Rhodes enters the ring and tries to apologise to Randy, but he shrugs him off, telling him to get away. Orton grabs his title belt and is about to leave, but Rhodes won't let him, practically begging him to forgive him. Ted DiBiase runs to the ring and enters before shoving Cody Rhodes and shouting "You're the problem!". Orton grabs a microphone and says "Ted, Cody, neither of you are part of Legacy anymore, and neither am I, we're finished. And seeing as Ted won earlier tonight, he will be getting the WWE Championship shot at Extreme Rules." The crowd go wild as DiBiase looks on with a smile. But he has something to say too, he says "If we're having a WWE Championship match, then I can't trust Cody not to get involved, so what I want... is a Steel Cage match!". The crowd cheer even more and Orton nods in agreement. Rhodes backs up, looking like the isolated one, almost about to cry. Orton and DiBiase are about to leave the ring, but Rhodes' depression turns to anger and he attacks Orton from behind. He stomps him into the canvas, but in a shocker to all the WWE Universe, DiBiase helps Orton and delivers right hands to Rhodes. Rhodes knees DiBiase in the gut and then rushes to continue the attack on Orton, but is met with a huge RKO to the crowd's pleasure. WWE Champion, Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase stand tall over Rhodes before sharing a staredown. Orton holds the Title up at the side of their faces and nods his head as DiBiase nods back. Raw then fades to a close.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS April 5th, 2010 - It seems that the WWE has gone down the route we have all been waiting for, and that is to turn Randy Orton face. Many believe that it seemed a bit out of place on Raw, but apparently the turn was only officially decided earlier this week, and therefore they wanted to get it done as quickly as possible. Expect Orton to become a full babyface following Extreme RUles. As of right now, consider him in between as he feud with Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes.
- According to an inside source, the WWE Draft of 2010 is set to be a big one, moving some faces which will get the ball rolling into the new WWE year, creating some brand new feuds. Look out for that one.
- For those asking why, or perhaps even how Jeff Hardy is back in the WWE, well here is your answer. It was discovered a few weeks back that Jeff Hardy never actually signed a long-term contract with TNA, and it was more of a special appearence deal, which is how WWE got a hold of him for a return. Jeff Hardy himself revealed on Twitter that he had the desire to return to the ring full-time, and with his brother in the WWE< he felt that was the best place for him. We have reported months before WrestleMania how the WWE were contacting Hardy to return for an actual match with CM Punk for WrestleMania, but those plans fell through when Hardy was booked for TNA.
- Rob Van Dam has officially confirmed his contract with the WWE over Twitter. He posted; "alright, guess who just signed wit WWE! the whole dam show is back, and ready to kick some raw ass!" The post could also suggest that RVD will be returning to the Raw brand. Expect him to show up in the next couple of months.
- With Bret Hart staying in the WWE for a while longer, and his relations with the John Cena/Batista feud likely coming to an end at Extreme Rules, many within the company have been pushing for Hart to manage The Hart Dynasty, which would include a push for the team. More on this as it comes in.

-Dibiase/Rhodes should be solid tonight and I expect Dibiase/Orton at Extreme Rules -Orton breaking up Legacy is a good call, maybe move Rhodes in the upcoming Draft -Show over MVP made sense -Sheamus attacking Kofi again was realistic, which is always a plus -Sheamus over Bourne was obvious, and Sheamus/Kingston for the briefcase is interesting -Vickie as an assistant to the Guest Hosts is good, would've liked it to be announced in the ring though -Cena/Jackson could be a big money match eventually. Batista attacking Cena again was great -Dibiase winning was the right move, hoping for a one on one between him & Orton at Extreme Rules -Divas match was filler, but decent -Triple H winning was surprising to be honest. The Steel Cage match for the WWE Title should be great and I loved Dibiase & Orton standing tall over Rhodes
Great Raw as always, this is easily getting my vote for the April Spotlight.

- Randy Orton v Triple H will be an interesting main event. - DiBiase and Rhodes feuding is intriguing. Gotta wonder where Randy fits in. - Legacy is over? I see Rhodes involving himself in the Main Event somehow. - Big Show over MVP is the right move. - Kofi and Sheamus' feud is cool. I like it so far. - Sheamus squashes Bourne. Sends message to Kofi. Yep. Good match for next week. - I swear you have a Man crush on Zeke. - Batista attack's during the match. Glad that happened. Either clean result could have been harmful. - Bret Hart.. scaring off Batista? >,> - Sends a message to Cena, which builds him as a threat. - Ted beats Cody. Honestly would've preferred the other way, but Ted's in line for a big push, or so I hope. - Nice Triple H interview, the main event should be good. - Divas match. Meh. I don't really pay much attention to them tbh. Nice to see Gail winning again though - AW Show with Vince should be great. - Orton being cost the match by Cody is great. I hope a feud develops tbh. - Ted v Randy >,> Would've preferred Cody. - Temp. Alliance, cool. RKO! Excellent stuff =D Look forward to the steel cage match a bit now tbh. A good show here man, enjoyed it as I always do. Keep it up, Elliot!

WWE RAW: Monday 5th April 2010...Hmm, Eve and Rosa Mendes definitely wouldn't have been a good match, but it was alright I suppose. Not happy about Eve jobbing though, considering Rosa has less ring skills in my mind. Carlito and Chavo Guerrero beating Chris Masters and Goldust is fine; odd tag team match. Assuming that SmackDown will main event Superstars. Alright, opening things up with Ted Dibiase is good, I do like his lack of a comrade like Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, but I'm wondering about who has what theme song, considering you noted 'A New Day' as playing when Cody Rhodes appeared. Rhodes and Dibiase tonight sounds good; but it would be weak for it to main event. Big Show beating MVP is alright I suppose, a good win for ShoMiz's side against MVP and Mark Henry. ShoMiz on the Cutting Edge on SmackDown I'm looking forward to, hopefully Edge and Christian mention Show's embarrassing love triangle angle last year. Sheamus beating Evan Bourne is fine, a pretty nice attempt at Bourne getting over, but Sheamus flooring him was good. Kofi Kingston's business with Sheamus intrigues me. Ah, Ezekiel Jackson on RAW is great. John Cena winning was obvious, but Batista running in made it better. And yes, Batista is becoming violent; I like it and I like the thought of his rivalry with John Cena intensifying even more. Good idea for Dibiase and Rhodes to first-hour main event RAW. Pretty decent match, but was pretty clean and straight; maybe too plain. Gail Kim and Kelly Kelly over Maryse and Alicia Fox is fine; can't stand Fox personally. The Abraham Washington Show returning next week should be great, in the United Kingdom too! I hope you really make note of the fact that WWE is in the UK next week with some segments and matches that'll appeal to the audience of ours. Lastly, a solid main event in a WrestleMania XXV rematch, Triple H beating Randy Orton is fine, very nice match. Ted and Randy in a steel cage match at Extreme Rules sounds neat, should be good. A very good show overall.

- Good opening promo between DiBiase/Rhodes. - Legacy is over. Haha, expecting Rhodes to do something. - Big Show beating MVP is the right call here, as Show is a champion. - Batista strikes again, don't think Jackson was a great choice for this portion though. - Don't find it very believable that Bret Hart would scare 'Tista off, but it was a good segment. - DiBiase defeating Rhodes is much preferred to me personally, could of seen other win tbqh. - Kim and K2 going over the heels is fine, I don't see much care as to who won this one. - Rhodes costing Orton the match is quite a good way to get Hunter over here. Steel cage shall be neat.
Good Raw as usual.

April 6th, 2010 - CHICAGO
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
We open up to the backstage area where Matt Striker is stood in front of all seven NXT Rookies. He tells us that this week we will have our second elimination of the competition, and once the night is over, he will personally reveal who will finish in seventh place. All the Rookies look slightly nervous, but ready to impress the Pros tonight. Striker turns and says that David Otunga and Justin Gabriel better go out to the ring, because their match is next! Otunga and Gabriel leave as we fade to a promo package.
We see a promo package for WWE Extreme Rules which will take place on the 25th of April, 2010. We then return to NXT.
DAVID OTUNGA def. JUSTIN GABRIEL; Both men came out with their Pros and were ready to impress. Gabriel used his speed to rush around Otunga, but in the end, Otunga managed to catch Gabriel with a huge clothesline. He then picked Gabriel up and planted him with his signature Spinebuster for the victory. Matt Hardy assisted Gabriel out of the ring as R-Truth entered to celebrate with Otunga. However, as R-Truth grabbed hold of Otunga's hand to raise it, Otunga shifted away, claiming that it was 'his victory'. Truth looked disappointed in his Rookie as they left ringside. We then fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
A REASSURING TALK; Backstage, we see Heath Slater along with his Pro, Christian. Slater tells Christian that he feels he hasn't really done anything special since coming to NXT. Christian tells him that he is doing fine and he shpouldn't worry, because the word in the back is that he is among the top contenders for the WWE contract. This brings a smile to Slater's face nad he says that from here on in, he will continue to do as much as he can to impress. Christian pats him on the back and the two turn to leave, but are stopped by Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett. Jericho says "Slater, don't listen to Christian, he's a liar. You're nothing on NXT, and never will be, he just doesn't want to put you down." Slater and Christian get angry, but are then backed up by MVP and his Rookie, Skip Sheffield. MVP says "What would you know, Chris? We all know that Barrett is at the bottom of the pack." Then, we see the Straight Edge Society stroll onto the scene with Rookie, Darren Young. CM Punk says "Am I missing something here? Last time I checked, the only Rookie that actually matters is Darren Young, the future WWE contract holder." All the other people in the room turn to stare at Young and the Straight Edge Society and then chuckle slightly Everybody leaves, leaving Punk, Gallows, Serena and Young in the locker room, wondering what they were laughing at. We then cut to ringside.
WADE BARRETT & DARREN YOUNG def. HEATH SLATER & SKIP SHEFFIELD; A quick tag team match here, but it showcased all four Rookies. It was a back and forth contest, and it looked in the favour of Skip Sheffield for the moment as he gained control of Darren Young, but Wade Barrett made a blind tag and Sheffield never noticed. He went to cover Young, but the referee told him he wasn't the legal man. Sheffield turned around into a kick to the gut, followed by Barrett's Fireman's Carry Slam for the victory. Wade Barrett and Darren Young stood tall over Skip Sheffield. Heath Slater jumped in to try and chase them off, but Young hit Slater with a Flapjack. We then fade to a promo package.
We see a promo package for the 26th April edition of Monday Night Raw which will be the WWE Draft. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
THE MIZ THREATENS DANIEL BRYAN; Daniel Bryan is seen lacing his boots for his match up next against the World's Largest Athlete, the Big Show. The Miz strolls in with a smug smirk on his face to a lot of heat. He asks Bryan how he feels about having to take on the Big Show. Bryan just glares at Miz without giving him an answer. Miz pretends to be scared, saying that Bryan looks threatening... not. He says that he can't wait to see Big Show destroy him in the ring. Miz tells Bryan that he made the biggest mistake of his career when he beat him on the first week of WWE NXT and embarrassed him, and now, for the rest of the series, he is going to make sure that he has the worst experience of his life. The Miz walks off as Bryan looks angry. We then cut to ringside.
BIG SHOW def. DANIEL BRYAN; Big Show comes down to the ring with his partner, The Miz and Bryan comes out alone. Technically, The Miz should be in the corner of Bryan, but he is not. Daniel Bryan gives this match his all, kicking the Big Show in the thighs, hoping to cut him down a bit, but Show is just too big for Bryan to handle, and once he gets momentum, he couldn't be stopped. Big Show lifted Bryan above his head in a gorilla press position and then dropped him to the mat, causing him to scream in agony. Big Show then locked in the Colossal Clutch, forcing Daniel Bryan to tap out, due to his ribs which were still injured due to all his recent attacks. After the match, The Miz entered the ring and mocked Bryan, telling him he is nothing. He then lifted Bryan up and threw him forwards as the Big Show drills him with a huge Knockout Punch. ShowMiz then stand tall as NXT fades backstage.
AND THE SECOND ELIMINATION IS...; Matt Striker is backstage along with six of the seven Rookies. He tells us that the votes have been counted and he can now reveal that the second NXT Rookie to be eliminated from the contest is... Heath Slater! Slater steps forward, obviously upset at this news. Striker tries to cheer him up, saying at least he wasn't in last place, but it doesn't work. Slater says he has loved his time appearing on WWE NXT, and he will continue to climb the mountain and vows to eventually be seen in the WWE, whatever the case. He shakes hands with Striker and few of the NXT Rookies before walking off. Christian walks onto the scene and Matt Striker asks him how he feels about having to leave WWE NXT. He says that he has enjoyed mentoring Slater, and he plans to stay in touch with him in the future. Striker says that next week, we will be having a week off from eliminations, giving the Rookies a week to impress the Pros, and then the third elimination will take place in two weeks time. Goodnight, everybody!

WWE NXT: Tuesday 6th April 2010...The yellow text is killer on my eyes, seriously. David Otunga beating Justin Gabriel is alright, a pretty solid match to open things up, and Otunga is really the man with a lot of charisma and mic skills, just like Wade Barrett, and that is what will get him far in this competition. Gabriel losing this doesn't really mean too much though. Heath Slater and Christian's promo was pretty spicy, I'm interested where Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett come into this situation. MVP and Skip Sheffield then getting involved. Do I sense a three-way tag team match at some point in the future? Good tag team match, Wade Barrett like I mentioned before is one of the guys who will come ery close to winning NXT. Darren Young I'm happy to see is getting somewhere at last. Heath Slater and Skip Sheffield are on a losing streak; shame, Slater and Sheffield aren't extremely bad. Daniel Bryan being threatened by The Miz is smooth, and sets up for the main event. Shame that Daniel Bryan lost to Big Show, but I didn't expect anything else to happen. I do like Daniel's resilience being shown, though. Lastly, I'm not too sure about Heath Slater being eliminated second. Sheffield or Young I would expect to have gone next, but nevermind. The competition heats up; a good episode.

- Not huge on Otunga, but I suppose him beating Gabriel is fine. - After that tag team match, I really hope Sheffield is gone next. - Show over Bryan is the right call - but expecting Bryan to get revenge. - FAAK!, I liked Slater. But I didn't expect him to win anyway. Good edition of NXT, disappointed in Slater being gone though.

April 9th, 2010 - CHICAGO
Mike Knox def. Finlay
Kane def. Luke Gallows
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
- We open up the show with the pyrotechnics and are greeted by Todd Grisham and Matt Striker. They tells us that the Main Event for tonights show will see Jeff Hardy return to action as he faces the man who got him released from the WWE, CM Punk. They also remind us that tonight, Edge and Christian will present The Cutting Edge with their guests, their opponents at Extreme Rules, the Unified Tag Team Champions, The Miz and the Big Show. We then cut to the ring where Chris Jericho makes his entrance.
- Chris Jericho enters the ring with his NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett to a lot of heat and he speaks to the WWE Universe. He tells us that after his victory over Kane last week, he is now the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship once more, and vows to take the title from The Undertaker at Extreme Rules. He says that tonight, he has been granted a night off in-ring action to analyse the situation at hand. He also says that a stipulation needs to be added to his World Title match to fit with the Extreme Rules gimmick. He rubs his chin and then turns to Wade Barrett, saying that he should choose the match type. The crowd boo as Barrett acts surprised, but it has all obviously been planned by them beforehand. Barrett is about to speak and reveal his preferred stipulation, but a gong hits and the lights go out. The crowd go wild as the titantron jolts into action. We see The Undertaker backstage in a dimly lit room with smoke rising from the floor. Undertaker tells Chris Jericho that the stipulation has already been set, courtesy of The Phenom himself. He says that Jericho will not give up his fight for the World Heavyweight Championship, so he has made their match a match which will only result in the loser taking an extended leave. We see Jericho look on in confusion, but The Undertaker continues. He says that at Extreme Rules, he will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Chris Jericho... in a Casket Match! The crowd go nuts as Jericho becomes angry and begins flailing around. The Undertaker closes the segment, claiming that Jericho will Rest In Peace. We then fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Extreme Rules, airing on the 25th of April, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
THE HART DYNASTY def. CRYME TYME; This rivalry has always been going on, no matter how long the two teams spent apart. With victories on both sides, this was a match which revisited the feud and gave The Hart DYnasty an upper hand. The match came to an end when the Dynasty hit JTG with the Hart Attack, allowing David Hart Smith to cover him for the victory. After the match, Tyson Kidd grabbed a microphone and spoke to the WWE Universe. He says how proud he was of Bret Hart at WrestleMania when he destroyed Mr. McMahon. He says that the past few weeks have been good to them, because Bret has been mentoring them in the ring, and has allowed them to pick up some recent victories. He hands the microphone over to Smith who tells us that Bret has helped them out a lot so far, and he will continue to help them right to the top. He hands the microphone to Natalya, and she says that being a part of the extended Hart Family definitely has its positives. She says that The Hart Dynasty have interest in the Unified Tag Team Championships, and the Champions after Extreme Rules should watch their backs. She drops the microphone and they leave as we fade backstage.
- The Straight Edge Society and NXT Rookie, Darren Young are seen, standing alongside Josh Mathews. Mathews asks CM Punk how he feels having to go up against Jeff Hardy again. Punk says that he is sick and tired of the people in this world not getting the message. He says that regardless of Hardy's past, the people still cheer for him every time he comes back from his addiction-filled life to the WWE, and it makes him sick. He points to Serena and Luke Gallows, saying that he has saved them from a terrible life, and he can do the same for everyone else, bar Jeff Hardy. Punk tells us that Hardy is too much of a low-life for even him to save, and the only way to save him is to put him out of his misery, and he plans to do that tonight! The Straight Edge Society leave as we fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
- We return to see Theodore Long in his office, seemingly happy that Vickie Guerrero is no longer on SmackDown. There is a knock on the door and he calls for them to come in. In walks the Womens Champion, Michelle McCool and Layla. McCool demands a rematch with Tiffany from last week, calling her victory a fluke. Long says that he already has plans for a tag team match tonight, and it will be Tiffany and Beth Phoenix versus Michelle McCool and Layla. McCool says that's good enough, and she can't wait to get her hands on Tiffany. Long tells her that she should maybe switch her focus from Tiffany to Beth Phoenix, because Phoenix is the #1 Contender for the Title. McCool gulps and turns to Layla. McCool asks when Phoenix will get her title shot, and Long tells her it will be at Extreme Rules. The crowd cheer as McCool and Layla storm out.
MICHELLE MCCOOL & LAYLA def. BETH PHOENIX & TIFFANY; Well, McCool did get her revenge on Tiffany in this match, but as Long said, she should focus on Phoenix. McCool and Layla picked up the victory when Layla battled with Phoenix on the outside, allowing McCool to plant Tiffany with the FaithBreaker in the ring. McCool and Layla fled from ringside, but McCool spoke on the microphone. She says "If I'm going to defend my Title against you at Extreme Rules, Beth, then I'm choosing the stipulation, and I say we make it an 'I Quit' match!" The crowd cheer as Beth looks on, nodding her head. Phoenix signals for the belt, but McCool looks a bit too happy about the match. Perhaps she has something planned? We cut backstage.
- Backstage, we see Vladimir Kozlov on his way to the ring for a match up next. We then see a promo package for this Monday's Raw, hyping up the Guest Host which will be David Hasselhoff as the WWE goes to London, England. We then return to SmackDown.
VLADIMIR KOZLOV def. CURT HAWKINS; Curt Hawkins hasn't been having the best of times since returning to SmackDown, and this is perhaps one of the worst. Kozlov completely annihilates Hawkins, using his brute strength to throw him around the ring like a ragdoll, and the crowd were loving it. Kozlov has definitely got this babyface thing over now. He finished Hawkins off with the Iron Curtain and then celebrates with the crowd. He smiles at the cheers he is getting and then leaves as we fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
- We return to see Edge and Christian backstage to a huge pop. They are talking amongst themselves, and are apparently discussing possible stipulations for their match with ShowMiz at Extreme Rules. Christian says "Why not just have an Extreme Rules match?" Edge looks at him in a hilarious way, just shaking his head. Christian then suggests a Submissions Count Anywhere match, claiming it worked well for Legacy and DX. Edge asks him if he knows any decent submission moves, Christian then says "Alright, let's not do that one...". Edge then shouts "Yes! I have it, and it toally reeks of awesomeness!" Christian asks him what it is, but before he can tell him, ShowMiz burst into the room to a ton of heat. The Miz does his "Really?" routine and tells them they are both pathetic. He says that no matter what the stipulation to their match is, they are walking out with the titles still around their waists. Edge says "Show can fit the belt around his waist?" The crowd chuckle as Big Show gets angry, but Miz calms him down. Miz sarcastically says that they look forward to The Cutting Edge later, and then ShowMiz leave. We then fade to the ring.
SHELTON BENJAMIN & REY MYSTERIO def. DREW MCINTYRE & DOLPH ZIGGLER; Two feuds wrapped into one here, and it went down a treat with the crowd. The Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin was clearly aiming at McIntyre the whole match. The contest went back and forth until it was Benjamin with a Paydirt to Dolph Ziggler that allowed him and Mysterio to pick up the victory. McIntyre screamd in anger, realising he had just lost yet again to Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin and Mysterio celebrate as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for the WWE Draft, airing on the 26th April edition of Raw, in a 3-hour spectacular event. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
- We return to see Jeff Hardy and John Morrison standing by with Josh Mathews. Mathews asks Hardy if it feels good to be back on SmackDown. Hardy tells him he fells better than ever, and is ready to get his revenge on CM Punk. John Morrison chimes up, saying that contacting Jeff to come back was the best thing he has done, because together, they can finally stop the poison of the Straight Edge Society spreading further into the WWE. They leave and we cut to the ring.
JEFF HARDY def. CM PUNK; John Morrison comes out with Jeff Hardy, for some support, and CM Punk is along with his Society allies and his NXT Rookie, Darren Young. This match really got the crowd going, and they had been waiting to see it for some time. Jeff Hardy was finally able to get his revenge on CM Punk from all those months ago. The match went back and forth, but Hardy got most of the offense in. Outside the ring, John Morrison took the opportunity to lunge at Luke Gallows, taking him to the floor. Serena attempted to drag him off, eventually slappin him across the face. However, Morrison was having none of it and threw Serena into Gallows and Young, taking all three to the floor. Inside the ring, Hardy hit the Twist of Fate and followed it up with a huge Swanton Bomb to pick up his return victory over Punk. Jeff Hardy and John Morrison celebrated as the Straight Edge Society regrouped inside the ring. We then fade backstage.
- Backstage, we see Matt Hardy watching a TV screen, witnessing his brothers victory. He smiles and claps, before turning around, only to bump into his brother and John Morrison, still hot off their victory. The crowd are tense as Matt and Jeff come face to face without saying a word. The tension is broken and Matt Hardy hugs his brother and Jeff hugs him back. Matt tells him it's good to see him back, and Jeff says he's glad Matt is still around. Aside all that, Matt seems extra creepy, a bit overjoyed, if you will. Jeff and Morrison notice this and ask Matt if he's alright. Matt says he couldn't be better. Jeff and Morrison leave in slight confusion, but we suddenly see Matt's eccentric face turn into one with no expression. He then wierdly smirks, leaving the WWE Universe in confusion. We then fade to a commercial break.

THE CUTTING EDGE WITH GUESTS, SHOWMIZ; Edge and Christian make their way out to the ring to a massive pop from the Chicago crowd. They enter the ring, which is nicely set up for this edition of The Cutting Edge. Edge grabs a microphone and he and Christian do their '5 Second Pose' skit, much to the delight of the fans. They then say that before they introduce their guests tonight, they want to remind the fans exactly who their guests are. They play a quick video clip which appears on the titantron. It shows the segment in which the Big Show kisses Vickie Guerrero, thanks to a hidden camera in Vickie's office. The crowd laugh as Edge says "Alright, that's enough... ewww..." Christian then says Big Show isn't the only guest tonight, and then another clip plays on the titantron. It shows The Miz tapping out to John Cena's STF like a baby at The Bash 2009, and it's on replay. The crowd laugh, as do Edge and Christian. The theme of ShowMiz then hits as the team make their way down to the ring, looking extremely angry. The Miz says "Do you really think this is funny? Really?" Edge and Christian turn to each other, then turn to The Miz and says "Yeah". The Big Show grabs the microphone and says that his relationship with Vickie Guerrero was stricly business. The crowd laugh and Christian says "Looks like it...". ShowMIz are extremely angry by this point and tell Edge and Christian to get on with it. Edge says he would like to announce the stipulation for their encounter at Extreme Rules. He says that he and Christian had a chat about it and they've finally come to an agreement that they want to win the Unified Tag Team Championship in a... Ladder Match! The crowd go wild as The Miz and the Big Show look at each other. The Miz says that he and Big Show don't care for the stipulation, because they will win anywa. Christian tells him that he shouldn't count on it, because they are coming for the titles, and they have a pretty good record in Ladder matches, both seperately and together. Big Show and The Miz chuckle slightly before unloading on Edge and Christian. Show nails Christian with a Knockout Punch as The Miz drives Edge to the canvas with a Skull Crushing Finale. The Unified Tag Team Champions stand tall as SmackDown fades to a close.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 8th April 2010...Mike Knox beating Finlay is fine; I really hope for you to think of something to do with Knox that would advance his character and maybe even a storyline of sorts. He could have something good with Kane. Finlay I feel should retire by the end of 2010; he's at the end of his career with little left to do. However, he does still have good skills in the ring and knows how to work the mic. Kane beating Luke Gallows is fine; it resumes the storyline of 'Criminals vs CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society'. Chris Jericho's promo was pretty good; very intense and it set up for what should be a pretty solid match come Extreme Rules, with The Undertaker facing Jericho in a casket match. I see Jericho winning the World Heavyweight Championship back, however; as I think that 'Taker should definitely be taking time off from competing in this season. The Hart Dynasty beating Cryme Tyme is fine; a good match there, thogh these two teams have definitely reached the end of their value in competing against one another. Hart Dynasty having interest in becoming WWE Unified Tag Team Champions is good and should occur sometime this summer. Michelle McCool and Layla beating Beth Phoenix and Tiffany is fine; I will say that I'm glad the WWE Draft is coming up, because the SmackDown womens division is extremely low, despite their match qualities. A mixing of the divas would be best for both brands. RAW may not have the best divas, but the WWE Divas Championship has much more prestige than the WWE Womens Championship in terms of amount of contenders. Poor Curt Hawkins; please team him with The Dudebusters, because otherwise his appearance is futile. Vladimir Kozlov I'm not too sure what you'll do with, either. Seemed very filler. Shelton Benjamin and Rey Mysterio defeating Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler basically put together two storylines, and it worked well. A fine first hour main event. Next, a match I feel should have properly main evented SmackDown, or pay-per-view; CM Punk against Jeff Hardy. Seems like a complete drop from being top feud going into SummerSlam to this. Lastly, a good main event Cutting Edge promo from Edge and Christian; a ladder match for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships between ShoMiz, and Edge and Christian would be solid. Just not sure about this angle main eventing. A decent episode, though.
