-The Benjamin heel turn is great, he's better suited as a heel at this point in his career -I like Swagger opening the show and a feud between him & Ted is original. Glad Ted evened up the score tonight -Jericho/Barrett segments are always good as they are a good pair -McCool causing the DQ was the right move. I say Melina should turn heel and maybe either join up with Simply Flawless or just be a heel. Smackdown has too many face Divas -MVP over Gallows was the right decision and I like the idea of a Punk/MVP feud -ShowMiz getting backstage promo time is good -Weird tag team match and I have to say, Jeff Hardy's return has been lackluster. In my opinion, he needs to be at the top of whatever brand he's in. He's way too popular -Now that I think about it though, Kofi & Jeff would be super popular Unified Tag Champs -Edge over Barrett was obvious and it was a decent main event
Good Smackdown as usual, Over The Limit is shaping up well

When WWE attempted to turn Benjamin heel, it didn't work out very well, so I hope you do a better job. That being said, I'm skeptical, but looking forward to where you go with it. You do a really good job of capturing Jericho, I commend you on that. Excellent segment. MVP/Gallows was dece, Punk/MVP is interesting. MVP's background and Punk's lifestyle could make for an excellent feud. Original idea. Main event was solid yet predictable, but that isn't a bad thing.
Nicely written show

MAY 17TH, 2010 - TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA
Gail Kim def. Jillian
Chavo Guerrero def. Santino Marella
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
- Pyrotechnics explode from the stage as Raw opens up for its show in Toronto. The crowd are pumped, ready for tonight's action. Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler remind us that tonight will be a Commercial Free Raw, and reveal that there will be a Fatal Four Way #1 Contenders Match to determine who will face Christian for the United States Championship at Over the Limit. They then reveal our huge Main Event, featuring the team of WWE Champion, Randy Orton, John Cena and Rey Mysterio taking on Batista, Ezekiel Jackson and William Regal. We then hear the theme of Bret Hart who is out to a huge pop, here in his home country of Canada.
- Hart speaks to the WWE Universe once in the ring. He tells them how great it is to be back in Canada with the WWE. He says that it has been a great home to him for years and to be a part of Raw's visit is amazing. He mentions how he wants to please the Canadian crowd, and therefore he has some great matches lined up such as the Six Man Tag Team Main Event and the Fatal Four Way #1 Contenders match. He also reminds us that his niece Natalya will be getting a Divas Championship match. He is about to continue, but to the disappointment of the crowd, Mr. McMahon appears on the titantron. He gets a lot of heat. He says that Bret Hart might want to stop getting comfortable on Raw, because he has a notice that will be delivered to him later in the night that he may be interested in. Hart looks confused, but McMahon simply says goodbye and the titantron shuts down. We then fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for this Friday's SmackDown, advertising the Main Event as the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho versus MVP while Edge takes on CM Punk. We then return to Raw.
Non-Title - Christian def. Matt Hardy | Fresh from his victory over John Morrison last week, Hardy was looking to take out some more frustration, as well as earn himself the spotlight by getting a victory over the United States Champion. However, Christian wasn't going to let that go lightly. Matt was going to hit a Twist of Fate, but Christian got out and dropped Hardy with the Killswitch for the victory. Christian celebrated his victory as Hardy looked on in anger. We then cut backstage. |
- We see Bret Hart backstage to a huge pop, being in his hometown. He is joined by all three members of The Hart Dynasty. Hart wishes his niece, Natalya good luck as she departs, ready for her Divas Championship match up next. She leaves and Hart is left talking to Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. Smith says that they're not all too pleased about ShoMiz's attack last week. Hart says he wasn't fond of it either, and stresses that The Hart Dynasty should answer ShoMiz's Open Challenge this Sunday at Over the Limit. He says that for tonight, he has booked David Hart Smith in a match with The Miz, so he suggests they get ready for that. The duo leave as Hart looks on. We then fade to ringside.
Divas Championship - Maryse [C] def. Natalya | Natalya was pumped adn ready to take the Divas Championship from Maryse, but Maryse wasn't just going to let her take it, far from it. Natalya took the fight to Maryse though, making sure she knew who the dominant diva was. She looked ready to take the victory and was about to lock in the Sharpshooter on Maryse, but out of nowhere, an unfamiliar woman leaps onto the apron screaming, catching the attention of the referee. Natalya drops Maryse's legs and turns to look at the woman in confusion. Maryse leaves the ring, grabs her title, slides back in and drills Natalya over the skull. Maryse then throws the belt, covers Natalya and the woman jumps from the apron. The referee turns around and counts the three for a confusing victory. Maryse celebrates adn leaves up the ramp with the mystery diva, both with smiles on their faces as Natalya comes around. We then fade to a promo package. |
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring Raw superstar, John Morrison. We then return to Raw.
- We see Josh Mathews backstage with John Morrison who is scheduled to compete up next against Mike Knox. Mathews asks him how he is feeling after losing to Matt Hardy last week. Morrison is about to answer, but is then brutally attacked by Matt Hardy. Hardy beats down on Morrison shouting "How do you like that, Jeff?! Huh, Jeff?!" Josh Mathews doesn't know what to do as Hardy rams Morrison into the interview background, taking it down. Hardy then storms off as officials tend to Morrison. We then fade further backstage.
- Bret Hart is once again in his office, this time alone. There is a knock at the door and a backstage worker walks in with a note. He hands it to Hart and leaves. Hart reads it and then looks confused before saying "New General Manager...?" We then fade to ringside.
The Miz w/ Big Show def. David Hart Smith w/ Tyson Kidd | This seemed to be a quick match, could have lasted longer. David Hart Smith had a bit of control, but due to the Big Show, Miz was able to take control. The Miz left the ring and attacked Tyson Kidd, distracting the referee. Big Show then entered the ring and drilled Smith with the Knockout Punch, then left. The Miz re-entered the ring and hooked the leg for the three. ShoMiz leave in celebration as Tyson Kidd checks on Smith. We then fade backstage. |
- We now see Mr. McMahon in a separate office backstage, The same worker who gave Hart the note walks in. McMahon says "Done?" and the worker nods his head. McMahon then speaks to himself, saying "Haha, that should get him out of the picture on Raw, and then I can work towards getting my company back, get his filthy Canadian hands away from my business!" He gets a ton of heat for that remark as we fade back to ringside.
- We hear the theme of Triple H to a massive pop, and he comes out in casual clothing. He enters the ring and speaks to the WWE Universe. He says that over the weeks, Sheamus has brutally attacked him, and verbally humiliated him, and he isn't the kind of guy that lets that pass. He says that at Over the Limit, they will face off, and he plans to make sure Sheamus pays for every single cheap shot, trash talk and breath he has made towards him. Triple H says that Sheamus may be white, but he'll be whiter with fear when he sees him walking down the ramp ready to get some classic Triple H payback. Sheamus' theme hits and he walks onto the stage to a lot of heat. He tells Triple H that as funny as he thinks he is, it won't be about witty comments this Sunday, it will be about violence, and Sheamus apparently 'getting what he deserves'. Triple H says Sheamus is right there, he'll be getting exactly what he deserves, a beating. Sheamus says he had something else in mind. He reminds Triple H that it was him who took the WWE Championship from him at Elimination Chamber, and he never got a chance to get revenge, now is his chance. He says that this Sunday, he will make sure that Triple H never enters a WWE ring again! Sheamus' theme plays as Triple H looks on in anger and we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing on the 23rd of May, 2010. We then return to Raw.
#1 Contendership for the US Title - Cody Rhodes def. R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler & Kane | Christian came out again, this time to sit at commentary and observe this match. All four competitors gave Christian a look before the match, obviously wanting him to know that they want his belt. The match kicked off as Cody Rhodes took on R-Truth with Dolph Ziggler taking on Kane. The match broke down and eventually, Kane was on the outside and was taken out by Dolph Ziggler who jumped from the top rope to the outside. This allowed Cody Rhodes to plant R-Truth with the Cross-Rhodes and pick up the victory, earning himself a United States Championship match this Sunday at Over the Limit. Cody RHodes points at Christian, telling him he won't be Champion for long. Christian chuckles and says "Alright..." He leaves as Rhodes celebrates. We then cut backstage. |
- We see John Cena getting ready for tonight's Main Event to a huge pop. The WWE Champion, Randy Orton walks in to another huge pop and speaks to Cena. He says that this Sunday, they are opponents one more time, but tonight, they are allies with one thing in common, their dislike for Batista. He says that he obviously wants to walk out of the event still the Champion, but he wants to make one thing clear, and that is that Batista must not leave as the WWE Champion. John Cena stands up and says that he completely agrees and then extends his hand. Orton shakes it and the two get a cheer from the crowd. Orton is about to leave, only to bump into Rey Mysterio to yet another huge pop. Mysterio speaks to both Orton and Cena. He says that tonight, he understands they are a unit, but he wants them to let him have Ezekiel Jackson to himself. Orton looks at Cena who nods. Orton then turns back and tells Rey that he can have Jackson, because they're focusing on Cena. Mysterio asks about William Regal, Cena laughs and says they can deal with him. Mysterio chuckles and then leaves as we fade to ringside.
Bryan Danielson def. Local Competitor | This was a very quick match and got Bryan Danielson over with the crowd. Danielson made the Local tap out to the Cattle Mutilation. After the match, Danielson grabbed a microphone and spoke to the WWE Universe. He mentions his tenure in WWE NXT as 'Daniel Bryan' and says that he no longer exists. He says that he hasn't forgotten about The Miz though, and challenges him to a match next week on Raw, whether he is the Unified Tag Team Champion or not. He says that he wants to show The Miz exactly who Bryan Danielson really is. He drops the microphone and leaves to a cheer as we fade to a promo package. |
- We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, hyping up the WWE Championship Triple Threat match featuring John Cena, Batista and the WWE Champion, Randy Orton. We then return to Raw.
- Backstage,w e see Josh Mathews standing by with Batista to a lot of heat. Mathews asks Batista if he likes his chances going into this Sunday. Batista looks at Josh, snatches the microphone and shoves him off-screen. Batista looks into the camera and says that Randy Orton's WWE Title reign is coming to an abrupt end this SUnday, and John Cena will mess with him for the last time. He claims that he will be the one to walk out of Over the Limit as the WWE Champion, and nobody can stop him. He throws the microphone at Josh Mathews who was standing to the side and then storms off. We then fade to ringside.
Batista, Ezekiel Jackson & William Regal def. Randy Orton, John Cena & Rey Mysterio | Possibly the best Main Event this year, full of action and fresh moves. Randy Orton kicked things off with William Regal. Regal showed that he is capable of wrestling with the Main Event stars, finally getting a chance to showcase his pure talent. However, Orton quickly took charge and his team gained control. The match eventually broke down, action flying left and right until Ezekiel Jackson and John Cena were the legal men. John Cena had Jackson up for an Attitude Adjustment, but Batista came in and delivered a huge boot to the skull, causing him to drop Jackson. Jackson then lifts Cena up and slams him down with the Book of Ezekiel for the victory. Jackson celebrates and leaves with William Regal as John Cena gets up. |
- Before Raw closes, Batista re-enters the ring and grabs Cena, ready for a Batista Bomb, he lifts him up, but Cena slips off, lifts Batista onto his shoulders and drills him with an Attitude Adjustment. Cena taunts, but not for long as Randy Orton comes out of nowhere with a vicious RKO. Orton stands up with the crowd not knowing what to do. He shrugs his shoulders and then raises the WWE Championship high as he stands tall over John Cena and Batista. Raw then fades to a close.

WWE RAW: Monday 17th May 2010...Gail Kim beating Jillian is something we've seen a few times in the past. Chavo Guerrero I am happy to see beating Santino Marella. Next, good promo by Bret Hart that was best to open up RAW in Toronto, Canada. Natalya getting a WWE Divas Championhip match, and a six man tag team main event is great. Vince McMahon appearing was great and if he kills Bret's appearance off on RAW, then that gathers amazing heat for the Chairman, if Bret got fired tonight. Hmm, the table format isn't bad I suppose. Christian beating Matt Hardy is acceptable; just wondering how much more Hardy can take before kicking some ass. More Bret Hart, hmm, could cut down on seeing him tonight, personally. Decent mention of ShoMiz and the Hart Dynasty's history; could end at Over the Limit for sure. Maryse beating Natalya was likely, and a fine win for the WWE Divas Champion gathering more heat by beating Natalya. The mystery diva...hmm. The Miz beating David Hart Smith, was alright, but I think since DH Smith represents Canada, he should have won. You are showing a little too much biasedness with heat against Canada, I think. Next, good promo by Triple H on Sheamus, sets up for a great match at Over the Limit which will hopefully be the end of it. Cody Rhodes overcoming R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler and Kane was great; Cody can be a fantastic WWE United States Champion. Bryan Danielson beating the Local Competitor is alright I suppose, his post-match promo was sweet though. Sets up to facing The Miz next week, good stuff. Lastly, packed six-man tag main event with Batista, Ezekiel Jackson and William Regal surprisingly beating Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and John Cena. Overall, was a great commercial-free RAW and I am looking forward to Over the Limit; but please do not use the table format for pay-per-views, it just appears strange to me in my head.

Nice layout here, good detail and that. Like the Harts involvement, but didnt like all of them losing in Canada. Natalya was acceptable but i think Dynasty could done with a win to give em a little bit of momentum. Like the Danielson and Miz feud, hopefully he wins next week, nice that Rhodes is no.1 contender, possibly a carry on of his fathers American Dream gimmick? Hmm
overall a good show!

Great Raw, love the new layout btw.

- Shall be interesting with the notice. - Christian over Hardy is the obvious right call. - Hm. Interesting having a mystery diva. Maryse retaining is good. - Hardy having a feud with Morrison would be great, and the way he is acting is great. - Miz over Smith is fine by me. Just the Dynasty make it far. - Good promo between Sheamus and Trips. Shall be good at OTL. - Rhodes getting #1 contendership is great in my book. - I think Danielson would've been better on SD, but Barrett's there, so good win for him. - Great main event, Jackson getting the pin on Cena is actually pretty surprising, but great for him.
Good edition of Raw as usual. Pumped for Over the Limit.

- I like this format; I am not sure if you have been using it, but this is my first time noticing it. - I wonder what McMahon is talking about; is Bret getting fired somehow? - Christian defeating Matt Hardy was a nice way to kick off the action tonight. - I like that Bret seems extremely close with the Harts as that is so realistic. - I like the Hardy/Morrison feud - I like the Big Show winning the match for the Miz - McMahon ripping Canada in Canada…shocker! Haha - I hope Sheamus puts Hunter away as Sheamus needs this victory - Rhodes as the new US #1 contender is a nice change that I like - Danielson defeating local competition is actually a good idea - Stunned to see the heels win the six man tag

Liked it but want a Kane push here. -Danielson beating Local is good. -Shocking result to the main event. Hope Cena still wins the WWE Title though. -Good RAW. OTL is looking good.

MAY 21ST, 2010 - OTTAWA, CANADA
JTG def. Trent Barreta
Zack Ryder def. Chris Masters
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
- The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as SmackDown opens it's doors to the Canada crowd. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker greet us, telling us that they have two huge matches for tonight. First, they have Edge taking on CM Punk, and then MVP taking on the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho. They also tell us that tonight Ted DiBiase and Yoshi Tatsu will team up to go head to head with Jack Swagger and Shelton Benjamin. We then hear the theme of World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho. He comes out to a lot of heat, alongside WWE NXT Winner, Wade Barrett. They enter the ring and Jericho speaks to the WWE Universe.
- Jericho says that he is disgusted at having to face MVP so close to his Title defense at Over the Limit. He says that Theodore Long is still on probation, and for a good reason. He calls him 'useless' and 'pathetic' saying that he doesn't know how to treat his Champions. Jericho tells us that despite his anger, he will defeat MVP tonight, as he is 'nothing but a stepping stone'. He says that Edge better be watching his match later tonight as he is going to give a preview of what's to come this Sunday. However, before Jericho and Barrett can leave, Edge's theme hits to a massive pop. He comes onto the stage and speaks to Jericho. Edge tells him that he should stop whining and complaining because he sounds like a little girl. He says that it's always the same old things with Chris, coming out and claiming to be 'the best in the world', slating WWE management, and then been unable to back up his claims when it comes to the match. He says that is exactly what will happen this Sunday, as he will defeat Jericho and take the World Heavyweight Championship. Jericho tells Edge to watch his mouth and that he will be the one walking out with the gold. His theme hits and we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing this Sunday, 23rd of May, 2010. We then fade to a commercial break.
- We return to see Jack Swagger backstage, preparing for his match up next. He is interrupted by Shelton Benjamin, his tag partner. They get heat from the crowd. Benjamin tells Swagger that he is fed up of being screwed up and tossed aside on SmackDown, and he wants some respect. He tells Swagger that they need to win this match and take out DiBiase and Tatsu, two men who always seem to steal the spotlight. Swagger tells Benjamin that he feels the same, and that they should go out there and finish the duo off. They leave and we fade to ringside where Yoshi Tatsu makes his entrance.
Jack Swagger & Shelton Benjamin def. Ted DiBiase & Yoshi Tatsu | Jack Swagger and Ted DiBiase have this feud going on, and right now, it's pretty even. This tag team match was pretty serious mid-way through. Shelton Benjamin had this new found personality, and started disrespecting Yoshi Tatsu, slapping him around. Tatsu tried to fight back, but in the end, it was a Paydirt from Benjamin that planted Tatsu and got him and Swagger the victory. After the match, Benjamin and Swagger left as DiBiase checked on Tatsu. We then fade backstage. |
- The Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre is alongside Josh Mathews for unknown reasons. Mathews says he has heard around that McIntyre wants some in-ring speaking time tonight. McIntyre tells him he is correct as he wishes to address the WWE Universe regarding his current desire, and that desire is to take out Kofi Kingston and take the Money in the Bank briefcase. McIntyre leaves as we fade to a commercial break.
- We return to see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring multiple WWE superstars. We then return to SmackDown.
#1 Contendership Match - Michelle McCool def. Tiffany, Mickie James & Rosa Mendes | This was a #1 Contendership match for the Womens Title. The winner will receive a Title shot next week on SmackDown. Fortunately, Michelle McCool had Layla by ringside who played a vital part in her success. Mickie James looked to be the one in control for the most part, but after a quick trip by Layla, followed by a Heel Kick from McCool, she was able to cover Mickie for the victory. After the match, McCool and Layla leave as Tiffany checks on Mickie and Rosa Mendes looks annoyed. McCool now gets a Womens Championship match against Beth Phoenix next week on SmackDown. We then cut backstage. |
- We see CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena backstage now, alongside Josh Mathews. Mathews asks Punk how he feels about having to face the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, days before his match with MVP at Over the Limit. Punk says that competition is never a problem when you're Straight Edge. He tells us that Edge seems to think he is the center of attention, and something everyone wants to see. The crowd cheer, but Punk says that Edge is nothing but a common addict, just like the rest of Canada. He gets a lot of heat before all three leave and we cut to a commercial break.
- The Straight Edge Society come out to a lot of heat, enter the ring and Punk begins to speak to the WWE Universe. He says that before his match begins, he wishes to address how much of a filthy, narcotic driven country Canada really is. He gets tons of heat. He says that he walked the streets of Canada, fearing for his life as the drunkards and addicts roamed freely past him, he claims to have felt sick being feet away from them. Punk says that if everyone just listened to him, and pledged to the Straight Edge Society, he could clean up the country and make Canada a much better place. He is about to continue, but luckily for us and the Canadian fans, Edge's theme hits and he looks extremely hacked off, likely due to Punk disrespecting his home country. Edge enters the ring and delivers blows to Punk as the match begins.
Edge def. CM Punk w/ Luke Gallows & Serena via Disqualification | Edge really took out his frustration in this one, not giving Punk any room to breathe. Edge used his home advantage to pump himself up in this one. He beat down Punk, leaving him with barely any offense. Edge was looking to put an end to the match with a Spear and lined him up for it, but luckily for Punk, Luke Gallows grabbed the legs of Edge. However, the referee saw it and called for the bell, giving Edge the victory via DQ, but it didn't seem to bother any of the Straight Edge Society. |
- Gallows and Serena jumped in and began beating Edge down. CM Punk got to his feet and joined in, but MVP rushed to the ring to a massive pop. He entered and delivered right hands to Luke Gallows. CM Punk and Serena fled from ringside, rushing up the ramp. MVP stared at Punk as he set Gallows up for the Playmaker, and he connected. MVP pointed to him and said he's coming for him, but maybe this was a mistake as MVP has a match later on tonight... We fade to a promo package.
- We see a package advertising the June 7th edition of Monday Night Raw as the night of the King of the Ring Tournament! We then cut to a commercial break.
- We return to see the Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre in the ring already, wearing a suit. He then speaks to the WWE Universe. He says that since Kofi Kingston joined the SmackDown brand, he has shot to the top of the brand, despite McIntyre being on the brand longer. He says he finds it discriminating that the man can walk in and 'take the spotlight'. McIntyre says that he deserves much more respect, and if it means taking the Money in the Bank briefcase, then that's what he will do. He officially lays out a challenge to Kofi Kingston, saying that he wants the Money in the Bank contract now. He then waits for Kingston to answer the call. Kingston's theme hits to a pop from the crowd and he walks onto the stage. Kingston speaks to McIntyre, telling him that he had to defeat seven other men in a Ladder match to gain the briefcase, and he doesn't want to defend it just like that. He says that he defended it against Sheamus once, and he felt that was a massive risk, one he wasn't willing to take again. He tells McIntyre that the Money in the Bank contract is the most prized possession at this time of year, and he isn't wanting to give that up. McIntyre calls him a coward, saying that he only declines the offer because he knows that he could beat him. Kingston shakes his head and says he won't change his mind because of a threat. McIntyre says "Alright then, I'll just have to persuade you another way..." McIntyre sadistically smiles as Kingston looks on confused. We then fade backstage.
- We see Theodore Long backstage with MVP. Long tells MVP that he doesn't usually condone run-ins on SmackDown, but he was glad he saved Edge. He says he doesn't know what could have happened if the Straight Edge Society would have had their way. MVP says that he despises everything about CM Punk, and feels he is the poison on SmackDown. MVP says he barely ever shows hate towards anyone, but he has never felt so angry towards another person than he has now. Long nods his head, saying he understands. He then says "Listen, I know how much you dislike Punk, and to be fair, he isn't my favourite either. I'll tell you what, I'm making your match at Over the Limit a No Disqualifications match, go get 'em, playa!" The crowd go wild as MVP smirks. He pats Long on the shoulders and leaves as Long smiles. We then fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing this Sunday. It focuses on the World Heavyweight Championship match between Chris Jericho and Edge. We then cut to a commercial break.
Jeff Hardy def. Curt Hawkins | A pretty quick match, and Hawkins was a bit too cocky for his own good. Jeff Hardy easily put away the young superstar, hitting him with a Twist of Fate, followed by a Swanton Bomb for the victory. After the match, Hardy celebrated, but something seemed to be troubling him. He looked a bit upset for some reason. Anyway, he left ringside and we fade backstage. |
- Josh Mathews is standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho. Mathews asks Jericho if he had anything to do with CM Punk's attack on Edge earlier. Jericho looks at Josh in an angry way and says "Listen up, junior. I never have and never will need anyone to do my dirty work. If i need something doing, I do it myself, because I am the best in the world at what I do, you got that?" Mathews reluctantly nods his head. Jericho speaks to the camera, saying that MVP is about to get a beating, but it won't be half as bad as what Edge will get this Sunday. He chuckles sadistically and then walks off as we fade to ringside.
Non-Title - Chris Jericho w/ Wade Barrett def. MVP | This was a fantastic Main Event and definitely one of MVP's best matches. He showed us all that he can run with the big boys in the World Title division. The match went on for a while, and featured a COMMERCIAL BREAK within. After returning from the break, Jericho was in control and had MVP in the classic chin lock, shouting "Ask him!" at the referee. MVP fought back and got himself on a roll, delivering rights and lefts to Jericho. He got Jericho down and hit the Ballin' Elbow. He covered him but only got a two. MVP was ready, lining Jericho up for the Drive-By Kick, but Wade Barrett jumps onto the apron, distracting the referee and MVP. Jericho takes the opportunity and delivers a huge low blow to MVP before rolling him up and grabbing a handful of tights. Barrett drops from the apron and the referee counts the three, much to the despair of the crowd. |
- After the match, Barrett hands Jericho the World Heavyweight Championship and the two stand tall. They quickly leave as MVP starts to get up. Jericho and Barrett laugh at MVP as he looks on in anger. SmackDown fades to a close on a shot of Wade Barrett, and Chris Jericho holding the World Heavyweight Championship high.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS May 21st, 2010 - WWE.com has officially announced that Jack Swagger versus Ted DiBiase has been added to the WWE Over the Limit card. This is believed to be a test match to determine exactly how the two should be pushed in the near future. Apparently, Creative are huge on Jack Swagger, and pretty big on Ted DiBiase. The current plan for DiBiase is to pair him with his brother Brett who will be brought up to the SmackDown brand soon. Swagger is set for a huge push, perhaps even to the level of Main Event, but we'll see.
- Many people are wondering why Jeff Hardy is of such low importance as of late. Hardy fans need not worry as the WWE are trying to keep him relevant until after Over the Limit where he will be back to his usual state. On SmackDown, Hardy was seen as looking 'upset', and apparently, he is due to have a 'Round Two' so to speak with his brother Matt in a cross-brand rivalry, possibly leading into SummerSlam.
- We can reveal that the Mystery Diva this past Monday on Raw was indeed FCW star, AJ Lee. According to many sources, she is set to form an alliance with current Divas Champion, Maryse, in high hopes to get her over with the crowd as a heel. This all explains her recent heel turn on FCW programming, ready for her Raw debut.
- On Raw, we saw the possibility of a new General Manager on Raw. Names brought up include a returning Paul Heyman, Vickie Guerrero, or even Theodore Long switching brands. Heyman seems a bit farfetched, so expect one of the latter two.

-Good opening promo, got the point across -Love the team of Swagger/Benjamin, glad they won and they both should receive big pushes -McCool as number one contender is great, her & Beth again should be good -Punk's promo was spot on and glad the match ended via disqualification -The King of Ring Tournament returning is a great idea -I like the idea of a McIntyre/Kingston feud and hopefully McIntyre can take the briefcase as I think it's better for a heel to cash in -Hardy over Hawkins was obvious but bland. Interested by Hardy looking troubled though -Jericho over MVP was the right call, glad you went that way
Great Smackdown, Over the Limit looks great, would like an 8th match added though. And you didn't post the graphic for the Dibiase/Swagger match. It links me to the MVP/Punk one.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 21st May 2010...How the hell did I forget that NXT finished? Ahaha. JTG beating Trent Barreta is fine I suppose, though I wish you did more with Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta than JTG. Zack Ryder picking up the win against Chris Masters is good; Masters gets himself over win or loss. Solid promo from Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett, but I wonder how long the winner of NXT will tag along with the World Heavyweight Championship. Basically, good set up for MVP and Jericho's match tonight, and Jericho taking on Edge at Over the Limit. Jack Swagger and Shelton Benjamin defeating Ted Dibiase and Yoshi Tatsu is acceptable, not that bad a bout to start off, and I like how these two feuds seemed to fit so well together. Michelle McCool winning the fatal four-way contendership match was good; looking forward to Michelle getting another shot at the WWE Womens Championship, but I wonder how long McCool and Layla can remain as a unit. The Straight Edge Society's promo was pretty sweet, but I'm not that big on Edge facing CM Punk in a non-main event match, honestly. Solid promo from the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre and I like how this ties into the situation with Sheamus and Kofi Kingston. Jeff Hardy beating Curt Hawkins served purpose of setting things up, but strange goings on. If he were to develop a character like the original Mankind character of 1996, that would be so great. Lastly, great main event contest with Jericho beating MVP. A great show, basically setting up for Over the Limit.

- Good opening promo from Jericho. Should be a great main event. - Decent opening match up, glad Swagger and Benjamin got the win. - McCool winning contendership is good as the others aren't credible atm. - Great first hour main event, would've rather seen this be ME though. DQ end is good. - Good promo from Drew McIntyre. Hope to see him get another solid run as the champ. - Hardy beating Hawkins is obvious here. Interesting to have Hardy kind of bipolared there. - Lastly, good main event between Jericho and MVP. Like I said though, would've rather had Edge/Punk main event.
Great show as usual. Looking forward to Over the Limit, expected a divas match to be plopped within.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS May 22nd, 2010 - Pre-Over the Limit Report - A recent report reveals that the WWE have possibly contacted tweo former stars to return to the company. According to sources, the contracts were approved last night, making them available any time from now. A source within the company says that the stars have instant plans which have been in the works for some months now, but the contracts have only been approved last night. This could be to keep this one as close to the chest as possible. We asked this source if he could give us any information on the stars, but all he said was to keep watching WWE programming. More on this as it comes.
- We can expect a few WWE cuts in the next few weeks. Apparently, they are wanting to cut costs by releasing the dead weight. Many superstars are fearing for their jobs, not knowing exactly who will be let go. Expect WWE.com updates very soon.
- Many people are still speculating the return of Rob Van Dam. It is confirmed he is signed with the company, it is just unknown when and where they will use him. The original plan called for him to debut on Raw, but since that has been changed and he could now debut on either brand. However, it still seems most likely that he will be a part of the Raw brand.
- Finlay has revealed that he plans to retire from wrestling this year, and it is likely to be sooner than expected. This would explain his move to Raw, management wanting him to have his final run on the company's 'A-brand' before he departs. We can expect a quick angle for Finlay before his departure later this year.
- Triple H's rest is said to be urgently needed. His nagging knee injuries are becoming a definite pain for the former WWE Champion and he is struggling to even walk these days. He will compete against Sheamus tomorrow night at WWE Over the Limit, and this could be his last match for a while until his injuries are sufficiently rested.
- The Raw General Manager situation took another interesting turn when two more possibilities were brought up. These are Abraham Washington and even the Chairman himself, Mr. McMahon. Mr. McMahon would make sense as it would be a way to ensure Hart doesn't get his hands on Raw. Washington hasn't been used on Raw in a while, and this could be the prime opportunity to get him some air-time. Other possiblities include Vickie Guerrero and Theodore Long. The idea of a Paul Heyman return has been scrapped.
- It should be noted that the Pay Per View known as WWE Money in the Bank has been dropped and replaced with The Bash. All tickets sold for the event will remain valid and this will not affect an people attending.

MAY 23RD, 2010 - DETROIT, MICHIGAN
Dark Match - Rey Mysterio def. Ezekiel Jackson w/ William Regal Rey Mysterio defeats Ezekiel Jackson after a 619 followed by a Splash. Afterwards, Jackson attacked Mysterio before leaving.
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
- The pyrotechnics display explodes from the stage as 'Crash' by Fit for Rivals hits the arena. The crowd go nuts as we are taken to the announce team of Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and Matt Striker. They welcome us to the show and hype up the card. Cole instantly plugs ShoMiz's Open Challenge for the Unified Tag Team Championships. Lawler then mentions Sheamus versus Triple H, and the United States Championship match. Matt Striker tells us about Jack Swagger versus Ted DiBiase, and MVP versus CM Punk, which will be a No Disqualifications match. He then plugs the SmackDown Main Event as Chris Jericho defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Edge. We then go back to Michael Cole who plugs Raw's Main Event which will be the WWE Champion, Randy Orton defending his title in a Triple Threat match against John Cena and Batista. The theme of CM Punk to a ton of heat from the crowd. Punk walks out along with his Straight Edge Society allies, Luke Gallows and Serena. They enter the ring and Punk grabs a microphone before the match begins. He then speaks to the WWE Universe.
- Punk tells us that MVP has been a thorn in the side of the Straight Edge Society for about a month now, and he is showing no signs of going away. Punk says that some people need to just accept the fact that sooner or later, Straight Edge will have to come into their lives, and they will have to pledge to him, in order to save themselves. He claims he could save each and every fan in attendance within a few days, and he would be that much closer to saving America. He says he will go onto Europe and then the rest of the world. He is about to continue, but the theme of SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long hits and he comes out. He tells Punk that he has had enough of his ranting, and is officially banning Luke Gallows and Serena from ringside in this match. The crowd go wild as the Society look on in shock. Referees enter the ring and remove Gallows and Serena from ringside, leaving Punk alone. Long then says "Good luck, playa", followed by the theme of MVP, who comes out to a huge pop.
No Disqualifications - CM Punk versus. MVP | [Match Graphic] This all started when MVP was drafted to SmackDown. He took an instant dislike towards the ways of the Straight Edge Society and has tried to stop them, but Punk is having none of it. The match starts off with MVP taking control, showing his hatred towards his lifestyle. However, Punk uses the No DQ ruling to his advantage, delivering a low blow to MVP, gaining control for himself. Punk taunts as the crowd boo him. He leaves the ring and grabs a steel chair, but MVP avoids the chair shot on the outside and spears Punk to the floor. The battle eventually returns to the ring and CM Punk looks to end it with a GTS, but MVP slips off, kicks Punk in the gut and is about to do the Playmaker right onto the steel chair. Suddenly, Punk grabs the chair with his loose arm and escapes the hold before cracking MVP over the skull with it, stunning him. He then lifts MVP onto his shoulders and delivers a huge Go To Sleep for the victory. CM Punk celebrates his victory as Luke Gallows and Serena return to ringside. They celebrate with Punk as we fade backstage. | CM Punk def. MVP after the Go To Sleep |
- We see Cody Rhodes backstage with Josh Mathews. Mathews asks Cody how he feels about his very first shot at the United States Championship. Rhodes says he was born to hold a singles title, and tonight, he is going to prove that. He tells us that Christian is a joke and will soon be the former US Champion. Rhodes says that 2010 will be his year, and it starts now. He walks off as we return to ringside.
United States Championship - Christian [C] versus. Cody Rhodes | [Match Graphic] This was one of the quicker matches of the night, but had a decent length to it. Cody Rhodes earned this title shot after defeating three other men this past Monday on Raw, following a challenge made by Christian. Cody Rhodes showed his desire to win, going for quick covers on Christian, hoping to get an upset win over the Champion, but Christian's veteran instincts won't let that happen. Rhodes goes for an early Cross-Rhodes, but Christian inverts it to hit Rhodes with his signature reverse DDT. Rhodes gets angry later on and goes for another Cross-Rhodes, but once again, Christian reverses, but this time, hits the Killswitch for the victory. Christian celebrates as Rhodes stirs. Rhodes looks on in anger as Christian taunts with the crowd. We then see a promo package. | Christian [C] def. Cody Rhodes after the Killswitch to retain the United States Championship |
- We see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing on the 20th of June, 2010. We then return to WWE Over the Limit.
- Backstage, we see the Unified Tag Team Champions, ShoMiz. The Miz is looking ready for their Open Challenge, but Big Show doesn't look to happy. Miz tells him to lighten up, as they need to be focused. Show tells him he has a bad feeling about this, and that he thinks it's all a big mistake. Miz stands up to him and tells him to change his attitude. He says that he shouldn't dare underestimate his intelligence, and that Show is lucky to have a partner like him. Show looks a bit angry at this comment, but Miz just tells him that he better be on his A-game out there, or else... Miz storms off as we fade to ringside on a shot of Show's angry face.
- The theme of ShoMiz hits and The Miz walks out. There is a bit of a delay before Show slowly strolls out behind him, not looking too pleased. They enter the ring and The Miz speaks to the WWE Universe, and the tag teams in the back. He says that they made the challenge a month ago, and now they want an answer. He tells us that it doesn't matter which tag team accepts the challenge, because he is awesome, and nobody can beat him. He only refers to himself, excluding the Big Show, which doesn't go down well with the giant. Miz then says "Bring on the inferiors!". There is a few seconds silence before the theme of The Hart Dynasty hits to a huge pop from the crowd. Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith come out alongside Natalya and they enter the ring, ready to compete for the titles. However, a little something happen before the action gets underway...
Unified Tag Team Championships - ShoMiz [C] versus. The Hart Dynasty w/ Natalya | [Match Graphic] The bell rings, and the referee tries to take order, but before any order is made, the Big Show taps The Miz on the shoulder. Miz turns around, shouting "What?!" but I guess he gets his answer when the Big Show drives his fist into the skull of Miz, knocking him out cold. The crowd go nuts as the Big Show shakes his head at Miz who is on the canvas. Show then leaves as The Hart Dynasty look on in confusion. But, they act fast and David Hart Smith lifts The Miz up as Tyson Kidd bounces off the ropes and they hit the Hart Attack for the victory. The crowd go absolutely mad as The Hart Dynasty claim the Unified Tag Team Championships. Natalya jumps in the ring and celebrates with her boys. The Miz is completely out and is tended to by the referee. Big Show stands on the stage and shakes his head with a very serious expression on his face. We then cut backstage. | The Hart Dynasty def. ShoMiz [C] after the Hart Attack to gain the Unified Tag Team Championships |
- We are shown WWE Champion, Randy Orton backstage to a huge pop. He is preparing for his match later on tonight, until he is interrupted by a knock at the door. Orton tells the person to come in, and in walks SmackDown's Ted DiBiase to a pop. Orton stands up and the two stand face to face. DiBiase wishes Orton good luck in his match tonight, and tells him he is rooting for him. Orton thanks him and says the same about DiBiase's match, which is up next. DiBiase thanks him and tells Orton that despite their past, they both have a respect for each other, and he says that one day, he wants to face Orton one more time for the WWE Championship. Orton nods his head and says he will be waiting for him. The two shake hands and DiBiase walks off as we fade to ringside.
Ted DiBiase versus. Jack Swagger | [Match Graphic] These men suddenly developed a feud when Jack Swagger made his first SmackDown appearence attacking DiBiase after his match. Both men are equal on singles victories, both defeating each other once. This will be the ultimate decider. It was a very even match and better than expected. Both men showed excellent chemistry and gave it their all. Jack Swagger used his amateur background to keep DiBiase grounded and tried for some quick covers, but DiBiase kicked out of them all. DiBiase regained control, delivering hard shots to Swagger and whipping him into the ropes. On rebound, DiBiase hit a huge clothesline, followed by his signature fist drops, shames of his father, WWE Hall of Famer, Ted DiBiase. He went for the cover, but Swagger kicks out. DiBiase went for Dream Street, but Swagger used the referees positioning to his advantage and swung his right leg back, delivering a sneaky low blow to DiBiase. DiBiase immediately unlocked the hold and Swagger quickly grabbed him, lifted him up and then dropped him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the victory. Swagger celebrated, leaving the ring as DiBiase came around. He held is crotch area in anger, shouting that it wasn't over to Swagger. We then cut to a promo package. | Jack Swagger def. Ted DiBiase after a Gutwrench Powerbomb |
- We see a package advertising the June 7th edition of Monday Night Raw as the night of the King of the Ring Tournament! We then cut to a commercial break.
- We return to the commentary table where Jerry 'The King' Lawler thanks Fit for Rivals for the WWE Over the Limit theme, 'Crash'. We then cut backstage.
- We are shown Bret Hart in his office to a huge pop. The new Unified Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty walk in and Hart is so proud, and congratulates them all. He pats them on the back and says they were great out there, and thinks they deserve the belts. Natalya smiles and says she is proud of her boys, holding titles. Hart thinks for a moment and then says "Vince plans on getting a General Manager for Raw, so I better make some lasting impacts before I can no longer make matches. Natalya, Maryse is in the building tonight, and that woman who cost you the title this past Monday". He calls over a backstage worker and says "Go and find Maryse, and tell her she has a title match... now!" Natalya looks at Bret in shock and says "Really?! You're the best, Uncle Bret!" Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith smile as Hart tells Natalya to go out to the ring, and wishes her luck. Natalya leaves, so happy and we fade to ringside.
Divas Championship - Maryse [C] w/ Mystery Woman versus. Natalya | Natalya came out all happy and ready to compete. Maryse makes her entrance and she isn't even in wrestling gear due to this short notice. She looks extremely annoyed as well. The mystery woman comes out along with her, also looking mad. Maryse enters the ring and Natalya instantly goes to work. Maryse is clearly unfocused and not ready for this match. Natalya takes Maryse down with a large powerslam, shames of her father, Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart. The mystery woman leaps onto the apron and tries to distract Natalya, but Natalya isn't falling for that again and clotheslines the woman from the apron. Natalya then locks in the Sharpshooter on Maryse and Maryse has no option but to tap out. Natalya jumps for joy, becoming the new Divas Champion. Natalya leaves ringside with the belt clutched tightly as the woman checks on Maryse. We then fade backstage. | Natalya def. Maryse [C] after a Sharpshooter to gain the Divas Championship |
- Josh Mathews is backstage with Sheamus to a lot of heat. Mathews asks Sheamus why he focused on Triple H for this match tonight. Sheamus says he has explained it already. He says that Triple H is always in the spotlight, and took the WWE Championship from him at WWE Elimination Chamber. He says that tonight, he will make sure Triple H has no other opportunities to steal the limelight, because he is putting him out for good. Sheamus storms off as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring multiple WWE superstars. We then return to ringside.
Triple H versus. Sheamus | [Match Graphic] Sheamus was very smug, and well prepared. Triple H came out to a massive pop, and was clearly ready for some payback. Triple H slid in the ring, and Sheamus wasted no time going to work. He stomped down on Triple H, preventing him from getting to his feet, but suddenly, Triple H had an outburst of energy and jumps to his feet, delivering rights to the skull of Sheamus. He whips Sheamus onto the ropes, ducks a clothesline and drills Sheamus with the high knee. Triple H has an adrenaline rush and unloads on Sheamus, but the match eventually slows when Sheamus kicks The Game in the gut. He starts slowly working on Triple H, completely putting the match at a halt. He taunts a lot too, getting a lot of heat from the crowd. He then drags Triple H's legs and leaves the ring, pulling him towards the steel post. He then swings Triple H's legs around, smashing his knees into the post, clearly knowing about The Game's past surgeries. Sheamus then smashes them onto the apron. He then pulls him outside as the referee starts the ten count. Sheamus doesn't seem to care for the ten count. Sheamus has something sadistic in mind. He rips apart the announce table and then beats his chest, screaming primally to the crowd. He lifts Triple H up and then throws him head first into the steel steps, knocking him out cold. Sheamus then lifts Triple H to his feet, and by this time, the referee has reached ten and both men have been counted out. Sheamus doesn't give a damn and lifts Triple H onto his shoulders before dropping him through the announce table with the Crucifix Powerbomb. Sheamus taunts as the crowd boo. The referee jumps out of the ring and checks on Triple H who looks seriously hurt. EMTs rush to ringside to tend to Triple H. Sheamus leaves ringside with a sadistic smirk on his face as we fade to a promo package. | Triple H versus. Sheamus ends in a Double Countout after neither man returns to the ring |
- Mr. McMahon is seen in his office to a lot of heat. He has a smile on his face as he dials a number on his phone. The conversation is "Hello? Hello, you're still on for tonight? Good, I need him out of the picture... Oh, you're already here? Well that's great! Just make sure you get the job done, because I don't want him taking up time on Raw anymore... Good, thankyou... I look forward to seeing what you have planned". McMahon then lowers the phone and chuckles sadistically as we fade further backstage.
- Backstage, we see Edge preparing for his match up next. He is interrupted by his brother, the United States Champion, Christian. Both get a huge pop. Christian asks Edge how he is, and Edge tells him he is fine. He congratulates Christian on his victory tonight, Christian says he hopes Edge gets the same result. Edge thanks him and tells him that even though they only had a month back together, he says it was worth it, and they need to do it again sometime. Christian says that in the future, they will team again, and this time around, they'll become the Unified Tag Team Champions. Edge pats Christian on the shoulder and says "I hope so, bro". Edge then walks around him, on his way to ringside as we see Christian smiling.
- Josh Mathews is standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho and NXT Winner, Wade Barrett. Mathews asks Jericho if he feels at all intimidated by Edge. Jericho looks disgusted, telling Mathews that Edge can't be intimidated, because he is a fragile piece of meat. He says that all the parasites in the WWE Universe, get excited when they see Edge, but not when they see him. He says that the WWE Universe should respect 'the best in the world' rather than a pathetic sheet of glass like Edge. Jericho says that Edge isn't reliable enough to be World Heavyweight Champion, and even if he was, he wouldn't be taking the title tonight. Jericho says that Edge doesn't stand a chance and walks off, followed by Wade Barrett as we fade to ringside.
World Heavyweight Championship - Chris Jericho [C] w/ Wade Barrett versus. Edge | [Match Graphic] Edge made his long awaited return at the WWE Royal Rumble, entering at number thirty, but he was eliminated by his former tag team partner, Chris Jericho, who went on to win the match. Before that, Jericho had put Edge down week after week, calling him fragile and a waste of space, so Edge came back ready to shut Jericho's mouth. However, with Jericho in the WrestleMania Main Event, Edge had no business with him, until now, when Jericho finished up with The Undertaker. Tonight, the two went head to head, unleashing all the anger they had towards each other. Chris Jericho immediately targets the formerly injured Achilles' tendon, dropping Edge to his knees. Jericho screams "You like that?! Huh?!" Edge screams in pain as Jericho stomps on the leg. Later on, he locks in the Walls of Jericho, putting Edge through excruciating pain. However, Edge's will to win allows him to reach the ropes. Jericho holds on until the referee reaches four and then lets go. But with the referee distracted, Wade Barrett drills Edge with a right hand. Jericho sees it and goes to cover Edge, but he kicks out. Jericho says it is about to be over and goes for the Walls of Jericho again, but Edge grabs his head and rolls him up in a small package, but only gets a two. Both men get to their feet and Edge boots Jericho to the canvas. Edge then lines Jericho up for the Spear as the crowd noise builds. He runs for it, but in an amazing counter, Jericho hits a mid-movement Codebreaker and then covers Edge for the victory. Chris Jericho escapes the ring and Wade Barrett hands him the World Heavyweight Championship as the crowd boo. He leaves with a smile on his face as Edge begins to move. This clearly is not over between the two of them, so expect more from this feud! We then cut to a promo package. | Chris Jericho [C] def. Edge after a Codebreaker to retain the World Heavyweight Championship |
- An early promo for WWE SummerSlam is shown. It will air on the 15th of August, 2010. We then return to Over the Limit.
- Josh Mathews is shown alongside John Cena to a huge pop. Mathews asks Cena what it would mean to him to get the WWE Championship tonight. Cena says it would mean the world to him. He tells us that the respect between him and Randy Orton is huge, it has developed over the weeks. But he says that respect or not, he is looking to take the Title tonight. However, he does say that if he doesn't win tonight, as long as Batista doesn't get the WWE Title, he'll be happy. Mathews wishes Cena luck and he walks off as we are ready for the Main Event.
- We are shown a build-up between John Cena and Batista, dating right back to Batista's first attack on Cena at WWE Elimination Chamber. It goes right up to Extreme Rules and at the end, features Randy Orton being inserted into the feud. It finishes with a shot of Randy Orton standing tall over both John Cena and Batista with the WWE Championship held high. We then cut to ringside.
WWE Championship - Randy Orton [C] versus. John Cena versus. Batista | [Match Graphic] All three men made their entrances and were ready to take the WWE Championship home. Batista had the worst part of the situation as both Cena and Orton double teamed him to kick off the match, eliminating him first. They beat him down and he was hit with a vicious RKO, which was then followed by an Attitude Adjustment from Cena. Both Orton and Cena then tossed Batista over the ropes and out of the ring, leaving them to battle it out. A mixture of Cena and Orton chants were heard. They locked up and the battle began. These two had some amazing encounters in 2009, and this should be no different. Orton takes the advantage first, wearing down Cena with kicks and punches. He gets Cena on the floor and does his signature circling stomp. He then goes for a knee drop, but Cena moves and he takes control. He takes Orton down with the spin-out powerbomb, and then hits him with the Five-Knuckle Shuffle. Cena gets ready for the Attitude Adjustment, but before Orton can get to his feet, Batista re-enters the ring and Spears Cena down. He then Spears Orton back to the canvas. He then shows his frustration, shaking the ropes and stomping, getting a lot of heat from the crowd. He lifts Orton up and then slams him back down with a Spinebuster. He is about to do the same to Cena, but Cena fights back and hits Batista with a spin-out powerbomb. He is about to hit the Five-Knuckle Shuffle on Batista, but then out of nowhere two masked men enter the ring and beat down on Cena. It should be noted that under Triple Threat rules, there are No Disqualifications, so this is all legal. The referee does try to stop it, but the masked duo throws Cena from the ring and beat him up, literally mug him. Batista gets to his feet and sees it, looking on in confusion. The taller of the two masked men pulls out a thin wire and starts chocking Cena out with it while the other stomps on the midsection. In the ring, Batista lifts Orton up, only to be taken by surprise when he delivers right hands to his face. Orton gains control and eventually goes for an RKO, but Batista shoves him off and chest first into the turnbuckle, and as he bounces back, he kicks him in the gut and drops him with a Batista Bomb for the victory. The crowd boo as Batista is announced the winner and is handed the WWE Championship. Batista leaves the ring with a smile on his face. Meanwhile, things are getting ugly on the outside... | Batista def. Randy Orton [C] & John Cena after a Batista Bomb to gain the WWE Championship |
- The two masked men lift Cena up and throw him skull first into the steel steps with huge impact. They then retreat up the ramp and stand either side of Batista who holds the WWE Championship high. Batista gives a primal scream as he and the two mysterious masked men stand on the stage. Orton looks on in anger as WWE Over the Limit fades to a close, the crowd in shock from the masked attack on Cena.

-Good opening for Punk. Gallows and Serena being banned from ringside is something I'd picture. -Punk defeating. M.V.P is the right call. -Christian beating Cody was also a good call. -Hart Dynasty winning the Unified Tag Team Championship is epic. Did the same on my diary. -As a fan of both Swagger and DiBiase. I must say, I didn't mind either winning. -Happy to see Natalya win the title. -Brutal match between Triple H and Sheamus. The post-attack was good. -Edge winning against Jericho would've been better IMO. Jericho has dominated Edge most of the year. -Not a fan of Batista winning. I would've been happy with anyone but him at this point. Wished Cena win or Orton to be honest. -Good show.

-Love Punk winning the opener, I hope to eventually see him back in World Title contention -Good to see Christian retain, and hope he gets a nice reign, but eventually I could see Rhodes taking it from him -Figured the Dynasty would be the challengers and glad they won. I sensed a ShowMiz break up for a while now and you put the belts on the right team -Dibiase/Swagger surprised me with how good it seemed and love that Swagger won -I like the idea of Bret booking one last match and having all three Dynasty members with gold makes for a huge push for them -Enjoyed the Sheamus/Triple H match, but not too sure on it not ending straight up. It should've had a definitive ending, although this is a good way to write Triple H off -Figured Jericho would win so his reign wouldn't be short but Edge really needs to be the one who takes the belt from him -The two masked men really make for an interesting main event and I'm shocked to see Batista win the WWE Title. Heel Batista is great though, so I'm all for it
Great PPV as always, cannot wait to see what comes next here.
