WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS May 10th, 2010 - According to a reliable source, Trple H was unable to make the event tonight on Raw due to family problems and therefore his segment scheduled with Sheamus was cut from the script. Apparently, the segment was scheduled to be a confrontation between the two which would have resulted in a brawl, however, it is likely that the segment has been moved to next week.
- A United States Championship match has been added to the WWE Over the Limit card, but only features Christian. His oppoent will be decided next week on Raw from a Fatal Four Way featuring Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes and R-Truth.
- Also on that note, the Unified Tag Team Championship match has been added, advertising it as an Open Challenge to any team from Raw or SmackDown. Rumoured teams include Cryme Tyme and The Hart Dynasty, explaining their recent interactions with ShoMiz.

-Good opening promo with Orton and Cena. -Glad that Cena won. Hope he wins the WWE Title. -Natalya beating Maryse is cool. -Hardy and Morrison would make an awesome match. Hope that they are a tag team against ShoMiz. That'd be great -Oh. Good win for Hart Dynasty. The Hart Dynasty could also get a good feud in the tag title division. -Orton beating Jackson is good. Good win for the Champ. -Good main event. The DQ was the right call. -Good job on RAW!

-Good opening promo, I like Orton & Cena having mutual respect for each other -Cena over Kozlov was obvious -Natalya beating Maryse is great and next week's Divas Title match should be great as well -ShowMiz attacking The Dynasty after their win is fine, hopefully they take the belts soon -Christian's promo seemed rather bland but it got its point across and next week's number one contender's match should be great -Matt Hardy beating John Morrison works and I like Matt shouting at Morrison as if he's Jeff after the match -Orton over Ezekiel was the right choice and Jackson didn't look bad in losing at all -Here's hoping Ziggler or Rhodes wins the number one contender's match -Good idea to have the main event end in a DQ finish. I smell a six man tag main event next week
Very good Raw, next week is shaping up to great as well. Plus, the graphics for Over the Limit look very nice.

WWE RAW: Monday 10th May 2010...Alright, R-Truth beating Mike Knox I'm sure main evented Superstars back on the SmackDown brand last year, haha. Nevermind, a decent way to advance R-Truth into things. If you begin now, he could end up a great uppercard performer closing down the year. Mike Knox has little purpose in the company from where I stand now. Chavo Guerrero beating Finlay I like; shows you have some sort of plan for him, which I like. Finlay, like Knox has little purpose competing anymore other than putting other up-and-comers over. Decent promo to immediately get things started off on the show, and a decent opening promo with Randy Orton in the ring and continuing this massive feud going on between Orton with John Cena but also Batista. I'm so glad it isn't a rematch of any sort, rather a collision triple threat for the WWE Championship. Cena then beating Vladimir Kozlov was fine, not that bad a match but Kozlov isn't that necessary on television much longer. Cena needed a way of getting over anyhow. Natalya beating Maryse, I'm interested. A legitimate threat to Maryse's WWE Divas Championship, much like Michelle McCool has with Beth Phoenix as of late. Hmm, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler forming an alliance is alright, but hopefully it's only temporary, no matter how weak the tag team division is. Cody needs to aim higher than this. The Hart Dynasty winning definitely showed the team experiment as a failure, anyways. ShoMiz making their prescence felt was a nice touch too. Christian's promo was good but I feel it needed a match to follow up, but the WWE United States Champion definitely has competition and it should be interested as to who faces him for the belt at Over the Limit. Matt Hardy beating John Morrison is fine; a solid match there, but I'd have rather seen Morrison win this for some reason. Matt is going off his rocker again, where's Jeff to turn him face again. Next, great match with Ezekiel Jackson and Randy Orton; way to elevate Zeke, and also make Orton equal to Cena. This should have been first-hour main event though in my mind, before Morrison against Hardy. Lastly, great disqualification finish main event with Rey Mysterio overcoming Batista. A good closing, Over the Limit is shaping up greatly.

- Solid opening promo to set up the events for tonight’s edition of Raw - Cena defeating Vladimir was the right call, although I wouldn’t mind seeing Vlad get a push. - I like the altercation involving Rey and Orton - Hart giving Nattie a title shot is pretty cool - The Harts defeating Cody and Ziggler seems good to me. - I really like ShowMiz coming in to attack the Harts after the match - I like Christian wanting to be a fighting champion - I am not a Matt Hardy fan so pushing him does little for me - I really do not that Rey had to help Orton defeat Zeke. Although it makes Zeke good, it makes Orton look bad, in my opinion - I like Zeke attacking Rey in his match against Batista; I guess you are starting a cute little rivalry between the two of them - Orton clearing house in the post match brawl was solid

- Sounds like some solid matches for Raw. - Obvious victory for Cena against Kozlov. - Natalya being in action is great, big win against Maryse. - Rhodes and Ziggler is an odd pairing, but a good victory for Hart Dynasty nonetheless. - A fatal four way match for contendership shall be good. Looking forward to it. - Surprised, but pleased, to see Matt win against John. Like him going nuts after. - Another obvious victory, this time for Orton. But Jackson didn't look weak. - Interesting ending to the main event. The post match stuff was good.
Good Raw as usual.

MAY 11TH, 2010 - BUFFALO, NEW YORK"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."CUE OPENING PACKAGE- WWE NXT opens up with a pyrotechnics display on the stage, signalling that this is the Final Episode, where a winner will be crowned. Josh Mathews and Michael Cole remind us that Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel are the two remaining Rookies after Daniel Bryan claimed a victory last week, earning himself a WWE contract. They remind us that tonight, the two remaining Rookies will face off, along with Daniel Bryan taking on his Pro, The Miz, and a special appearence from the eliminated Rookies. We then hear the theme of Chris Jericho as he and Wade Barrett walk to the ring, ready for the opening match. WADE BARRETT def. JUSTIN GABRIEL; The two remaining Rookies battled it out in a match after both have gone through so much. Both men were looking to get the victory, earning themself some extra points for the major announcement later tonight. Matt Hardy was once again absent from Gabriel's side, not knowing what is going on with him. Justin Gabriel is outnumbered when Jericho distracted him and Barrett hits him with the Fireman's Carry Slam for the victory. Wade Barrett and World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho stand tall in the ring and Jericho shouts "This is your NXT winner, just you wait!" The duo then leave as Justin Gabriel gets to his feet. We then cut to a promo package. - We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing on the 23rd of May, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break. COMMERCIAL BREAK- We return to see Matt Striker in the ring alongside the five eliminated Rookies, Michael Tarver, Skip Sheffield, Heath Slater, David Otunga and Darren Young. Striker announces that these five men will compete in a Battle Royal right now, simply for a bit of pride. He says that although they were eliminated from the competition, they can still regain some dignity with a victory here tonight. Striker wishes them luck and leaves the ring as the bell signals the beginning of the match. SKIP SHEFFIELD def. MICHAEL TARVER, HEATH SLATER, DAVID OTUNGA & DARREN YOUNG; This was a relitively quick match, featuring fast eliminations. The first person to be eliminated was Darren Young, thrown over the top rope by Heath Slater. Michael Tarver was the next to go, thanks to Skip Sheffield. David Otunga began cleaning house and launched Heath Slater over the top rope. Skip Sheffield and David Otunga went face to face, but after a clever move by Sheffield, he pulled down the ropes and David Otunga's own momentum sent him flying from the ring, giving Sheffield the victory. After the match, Sheffield celebrated as his Pro, MVP came to the ring and congratulated him. The two celebrated as we fade backstage. - Matt Striker is backstage with Daniel Bryan to a pop. He asks Bryan if he has a preference of where to go atfer NXT finishes. Bryan says that he hopes tonight's winner chooses SmackDown, so he can go to Raw and make sure Miz has the worst career ever. Striker chuckles and then says that Bryan had something to say. Bryan nods his head and says "Over the period of NXT, I've been going by the name of Daniel Bryan. Well, Daniel Bryan belongs here on NXT, and if I am going to have a WWE career, then the name I know best must go with me. Whichever brand I join, the name 'Bryan Danielson' will be known as the name of the man who left WWE NXT as a Rookie, and developed into a Pro!" Bryan walks off as we fade to a commercial break. COMMERCIAL BREAKTHE MIZ def. DANIEL BRYAN; On the very first episode of NXT, Daniel Bryan defeated his Pro, The Miz, making him tap out to the Cattle Mutilation. However, this time around, he wasn't so lucky. Daniel Bryan definitely showed he was ready to go to Raw or SmackDown, but The Miz's experience allowed him to take control. Bryan went up top to jump from the turnbuckle, but Miz moved, causing Bryan to crash to the mat. Miz then rolled him up with a handful of tights to pick up the victory. The Miz escaped the ring and grabbed his Unified Tag Team Championship belts, with a smug smile on his face, happy about what he just did. Daniel Bryan is angry nd gets up, pointing at The Miz, telling him he will get him. We then fade to a promo package. - We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring multiple WWE superstars. We then return to NXT. - Matt Striker is stood inside the ring alone and tells us that it is now time to crown the winner of WWE NXT. He then introduces the remaining Rookies who come out and stand either side of him. Wade Barrett stands alongside the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho, while Gabriel stands alone, his Pro, Matt Hardy ditching him over the recent weeks. Matt Striker says that the results of the WWE Universe Poll have been counted and verified, and he can now reveal that the winner of WWE NXT 2010 is... Wade Barrett! The crowd boo as Jericho and Barrett jump for joy. Jericho raises Barrett's hand as his theme plays and Gabriel claps in good sportmanship. - Matt Striker asks Wade Barrett which brand he will choose, and Barrett says " SmackDown!" Jericho smirks and pats Barrett on the back. Justin Gabriel then extends his hand in congratulations, but Wade Barrett kicks him in the gut and plants him with a Fireman's Carry Slam. Wade Barrett stands tall over Justin Gabriel, alongside the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho as WWE NXT fades to it's final close.
Wade Barrett to SmackDown. Daniel Bryan to Raw.

WWE NXT: Tuesday 11th May 2010...The finalé, looking forward to what confronts us here. I am also wondering about the future of a timeslot of wrestling on the SyFy Network. Solid opening contest to kick off the show, though personally I would have placed this on last, considering these are the two who reached the finals of the competition, and instead of getting the true spotlight of main eventing the final episode of NXT, we have Wade Barrett taking on Justin Gabriel in the opening contest. Could have been performed better; fine victory for Barrett though, hoping that he wins this competition, but I somehow doubt that since Gabriel is the babyface here. Skip Sheffield overcoming the other previously eliminated NXT Rookies is strange, to be honest. I would have enjoyed Heath Slater or David Otunga winning instead, as they would have made such better choices. Daniel Bryan's promo was sweet, with the rechristening of Bryan Danielson ade on NXT. The Miz beating Daniel Bryan though, I dislike a lot. If Bryan was to regain momentum before headed onto whichever brand in the future, he should have won this definitely. Lastly, a decent closing promo with Wade Barrett winning NXT. I am happy about this. Barrett to SmackDown is probably the best choice, and he should be given chance to grow outwards. Barrett attacking runner up, Gabriel too is something I like, and a decent episode to finish the series. The future is blurry for the NXT Rookies now, hopefully you go in the correct direction.

-Barrett beating Gabriel pretty much ruin's Gabe's chances. But it's fine by me. -Wish Tarver won the Fatal Four Way. But, it seems okay Skip won. -The Miz beating Daniel Bryan is good. Bryan will probably get revenge on RAW. -Barrett winning is good. -Good NXT

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS May 13th, 2010 - Now that this season of WWE NXT has ended, there are talks of a second series, but nothing is decided just yet. The plan about a month ago was to cut the idea due to bad ratings, however, since then, ratings have increased for the show which is a positive, and could be the deciding factor in whether or not to continue the broadcast. Names in question for the next series, if it takes place, include Kaval, Brett DiBiase, Eli Cottonwood and Alex Riley. Obviously, others would take part, but those four are the highly rumoured names at this point.
- As we heard on the final episode of WWE NXT, Daniel Bryan will be returning to his actual name, Bryan Danielson when competing on Raw. Apparently, this is due to the name attracting more attention as opposed to the NXT name. Danielson has said that he prefers competing under his real name in the past.
- Sources suggest that a certain FCW Diva by the name of AJ Lee is ready to be called up to the main roster. On the most recent FCW taping, AJ Lee turned heel, attacking her partner at the time, Askana after their match. Apparently, Creative wish to bring AJ Lee to the Raw roster due to the lack of heel divas, as well as feeling she is ready to receive her spot.
- Triple H may not be able to make the end of his feud with Sheamus due to his nagging injuries. According to a close friend, Triple H is in bad shape and has been since before WrestleMania, which explains his character being used sparingly as of late. The original plan was to have the Triple H/Sheamus feud run through to SummerSlam, however, it has now been cut to WWE Fatal 4 Way, where Triple H will then take time off to sort out his injuries and rest up, ready for a return later in the year.
- Speaking of SummerSlam, early plans call for Chris Jericho and Edge to Main Event for the World Heavyweight Championship in some sort of gimmick match to end the feud. This indicates that the World Title will be staying between the two during the next few months, however, as we all know, anything can change within a few months.
- Many people were confused about the decision to move the Big Show to SmackDown in the WWE Draft. According to an inside source, the decision was made for when ShoMiz lose the Unified Tag Team Championships, as Creative have big plans for him. It isn't known what these plans are, or when ShoMiz will lose the belts.
- In a recent interview with Bret Hart, he was asked if his on-screen feud with Mr. McMahon was over following their WrestleMania and Extreme Rules encounters. Bret simply answered "This is only the beginning".

- Not that fond of Barrett and Gabriel opening up, but Wade winning is great. - Would of liked to see Slater win this one, Sheffield is just meh to me tbqh. - The Miz beating Bryan I am not that satisfied with, but Bryan got a win originally... hopefully they feud now that NXT is ending. - Barrett winning is great. Hope to see Gabriel on the main roster sometime though.
Pretty good NXT, some parts I am meh on, but it was still good.

MAY 14TH, 2010 - BUFFALO, NEW YORK
Jimmy Wang Yang def. Shelton Benjamin Shelton Benjamin attacked Yang post-match, turning heel.
Carlito def. Chris Masters
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
- The pyrotechnics explode and we are greeted by Todd Grisham and Matt Striker. They reveal that tonight in our Main Event, the winner of WWE NXT, Wade Barrett will go head to head with the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Edge, in the biggest match of his career. Chris Jericho will be by ringside to observe his ally in action, as well as scout out his Over the Limit opponent. Also, the Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre will team with Curt Hawkins to take on Kofi Kingston and Jeff Hardy. We then hear the theme of Jack Swagger who comes out to a lot of heat. He enters the ring and speaks to the WWE Universe.
- He speaks, telling us that last week he defeated Ted DiBiase fair and square, being the better man, but Ted DiBiase ruined the moment and dared to attack him. He says that tonight, they have a rematch, and he will once again defeat DiBiase and show him up in front of everyone. He says that he is destined to be World Heavyweight Champion in the future, whatever it takes, however, DiBiase agrees and makes his way to the ring, ready for the opening match. We then cut to a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring SmackDown superstar, Kofi Kingston. We then return to ringside.
Ted DiBiase def. Jack Swagger; After last week, these two were really ready to take the victory. It was a lot of back and forth action, but Swagger cost himself with his cockyness and showing off to the crowd. He goes for a Gutwrench Powerbomb on DiBiase, but DiBiase slips out and rolls Swagger up for the three count out of nowhere as the crowd go wild. DiBiase flees from the ring as his theme plays and Swagger looks on in shock. Swagger starts stomping around the ring in anger, shouting at the referee, telling him to restart the match, but he won't have it. DiBiase smiles at Swagger and waves, making him even more angry. We then fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to see Wade Barrett and the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho backstage in their locker room. Jericho is telling Barrett that he won NXT for a reason, because he was the best the show had to offer. He says that he has all the skills to defeat Edge, and he wants him to do as much damage to Edge as possible. Barrett says he will do his best for Jericho. The two are interrupted by General Manager, Theodore Long to a pop. Long welcomes Barrett to the SmackDown brand and says he is getting a massive opportunity on his SmackDown debut. He wishes him luck, but Jericho butts in saying he doesn't need any luck. He says that Barrett will defeat Edge tonight, and then Jericho will go on to defeat Edge at Over the Limit. Long smiles and says "Alright, playa", chuckles and then leaves. We then return to the ring.
Beth Phoenix def. Layla w/ Michelle McCool via disqualifiaction; A quick divas match, pretty disappointing actually as Beth can do better. She destroyed Layla most of the match, but part way through, Michelle McCool jumped in and attacked Phoenix with her own Womens Title. McCool laughed as the referee rang the bell. LayCool stood tall, McCool holding the Womens Championship high, despite it not being hers. We then cut backstage.
- Melina is seen watching what just happened. Mickie James and Tiffany walk up behind her and all three say how much they dislike Michelle McCool and Layla. Melina says that she isn't 100% healed up yet, but when she is, she is going to give Michelle the fight of her life. Mickie and Tiffany smile as we fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to see CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena backstage with Josh Mathews. Mathews says that up next, Luke Gallows will compete against MVP, and he asks the trio what their problem is with MVP. Punk says that MVP tried to stand in the way of Straight Edge, preventing it from spreading, and he will not stop. He says that Luke Gallows will put and end to MVP tonight and clear the path for the Straight Edge Society to grow. Mathews asks him if he honestly thinks that the Straight Edge Society can grow. Punk looks disgusted and doesn't even answer the question as the Society walk off. Mathews shrugs his shoulders as we fade to ringside.
MVP def. Luke Gallows w/ The Straight Edge Society; This was a great match, and CM Punk and Serena stayed out of it for a good while. Obviously, it was inevitable in the end, but MVP and Gallows had a good run. Gallows continuously tried to hurt MVP, ramming him into the steel post more than one. MVPs arm was looking hurt. Gallows was ready to put and end to the match, locking MVP uo for the Gallows Pole, but MVP slipped down under his legs and then kicked Gallows in the gut. He then bounced off the ropes and delivered a huge Drive-By Kick to the skull of Gallows and covered him for the three count. MVP celebrated, but CM Punk and Serena jumped in. However, MVP was ready and ducked a clothesline from Punk before throwing him over the top rope. Gallows and Serena regrouped with Punk as the trio backed up the ramp. MVP pointed at Punk, shouting something we can't really make out. Punk looks on in anger as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing on the 23rd of May, 2010. We then return to SmackDown.
- We return to see the Unified Tag Team Champions, ShoMiz walking down a corridor. We then fade to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to see the entrance of ShoMiz. The Miz grabs a microphone and speaks to the WWE Universe. He reminds us all that their Open Challenge is still out for WWE Over the Limit, and any tag team brave enough can challenge for their titles at the Pay Per View. Miz says that they have destroyed Cryme Tyme, The Hart Dynasty, and can destroy many others, so whoever challenges will fall to them. He passes the microphone over to the Big Show who speaks. He says that they are far better than he and Chris Jericho were, in lots of different ways. He says that nobody will take the Unified Tag Team Championships from them for a long time. Big Show lays out the challenge one more time before the duo leave as we cut backstage.
- We see Curt Hawkins and The Dudebusters backstage. They are hyped about Hawkins' tag match up next. the Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre walks in to a lot of heat. He tells Hawkins that tonight, he wants to make sure that they defeat Kingston and Hardy, and tells him not to screw up. Hawkins tells McIntyre that he never screws up, and they will win tonight. McIntyre nods his head and walks off as we return to ringside.
Kofi Kingston & Jeff Hardy def. Drew McIntyre & Curt Hawkins w/ The Dudebusters; Kingston and Hardy found themselves a friendship last week on SmackDown, and it spills over to this week with their dislike for Drew McIntyre. This tag match went back and forth, but to say Hawkins 'never screws up' was a bit of a lie, as it was him that cost them the match. Hawkins started taunting, oblivious to Jeff Hardy getting to his feet. Hardy kicked Hawkins in the gut and drilled him with the Twist of Fate. Drew McIntyre tried to intervene, but Kofi Kingston hit him with the Trouble In Paradise. Kingston then launched himself over the ropes, taking out both Dudebusters. Jeff Hardy then hit the Swanton Bomb on Hawkins for the victory. Jeff Hardy and Kofi Kingston left up the ramp in celebration as McIntyre held his head in pain. He looked at Hawkins in anger before storming off with his title. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to see Josh Mathews backstage once again, this time, with Edge to a huge pop. Mathews asks Edge if this feud with Chris Jericho is over more than just the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge says it is, reminding us that Jericho put him down each and every week he was out with the injury, calling him fragile and pathetic. Edge says that what he is going to do to Wade Barrett tonight is barely anything compared to what he plans to do to Jericho at Over the Limit. He says that months of anger built up will finally be unleashed next Sunday, and as a reward for all the months of humilation, he will take the World Title, too. Edge walks off as we fade to ringside.
Edge def. Wade Barrett w/ Chris Jericho; To say Barrett isn't as experienced as Edge, Jericho has definitely taught him well as he went toe to toe with Edge all the way. However, in the end, Edge's frustration was unleashed and he took the fight to Barrett. Barrett did try to fight back, but Edge had it covered. Chris Jericho jumped onto the apron at one bit to try and stop Edge from winning, but Edge didn't even stop to think before Spearing Jericho from the apron and down to the floor. Edge then turned around, ducked a clothesline and then Speared Barrett to the canvas before picking up the victory. After the match, Edge celebrated as Barrett rolled out of the ring.
- Chris Jericho grabbed his World Heavyweight Title and backed up the ramp, holding his gut alongside Wade Barrett. Edge points to the World Title over Jericho's shoulder, saying it will be his next Sunday. Jericho grips it tighter as he and Barrett flee. SmackDown then fades to a close.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS May 15th, 2010 - It was announced on WWE.com that CM Punk will take on MVP at WWE Over the Limit. This is likely the last addition to the card, but a Divas match has yet to be announced, so it isn't set in stone.
- According to an inside source, Creative are hoping to push some younger stars to the Main Event coming up to the WWE Fatal 4 Way event, having the younger stars fill the spots in the matches. The World Title match is set to feature Chris Jericho and Edge, whoever the Champion may be at the time. Names thrown around to be the other two are Jack Swagger, Ted DiBiase, MVP and CM Punk.

- Simple and solid promo from Swagger, like DiBiase getting a little revenge for last week with the win. - Beth beating Layla by DQ is fine, McCool costing her the gold is fine to see. - Glad that MVP beat Gallows, only way Gallows winning would be fine to me would be if Punk interfered. - Nice to see ShoMiz having a lot of confidence in themselves. Hope that it is The Hart Dynasty at Over the Limit. - Hawkins and McIntyre is an odd pairing, so I'm glad to see that Kingston and Hardy got the victory there. - Edge defeating Barrett is quite obvious. Wouldn't be right if Barrett got a win on the #1 contender so soon.
Good Smackdown.

I really like the way you’re pushing Wade. A match against Edge is amazing for the rookie and I really feel he is going to get far. Whoa, you’re starting off the action strong with Jack Swagger taking on Ted Dibiase. I like Ted winning via a roll up because it keeps both men strong. I like the Long-Jericho-Wade segment. I love the SES promo as it is making me excited for the growing feud against MVP. I dislike MVP defeating Luke clean as I would have preferred some screwy finish, but I guess it makes MVP look really strong. I love how strong ShoMiz is and I really wonder who will accept their open challenge. I like Hawkins costing McIntyre a victory over Kofi and Jeff. Edge defeating Wade was obviously the right decision, no problems there.

- Good opening promo. Liked it. - The match was good as well, enjoyable. I think you should add a match between those two at OTL, as it would be interesting to see, a rubber match of sorts. - Divas match is good I s'pose. As good as it can be. - MVP feuding with Punk has really elevated him in my eyes. Glad to see him beat Gallows, but Punk's beatdown built the feud nicely. - Shomiz promo is good, like how they hype themselves up. I see Hardy and Kingston answering the challenge tbh. - The victory over Drew and Hawkins has reinforced that opinion. Would like to see how a match would go. - Barrett with a good showing is pretty cool, but glad Edge won out in the end. Edge and Jericho's feud has been well portrayed in this diary, and I like it a lot. So goodd job there.
Enjoyed this edition of Smackdown a lot, Elliot. Keep with this, and well done sustaining the quality for so long.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 14th May 2010...Surprised about Shelton Benjamin losing to Jimmy Wang Yang, but it definitely seems as though Wang Yang won't be getting anything out of it. It seemed very likely that Shelton would turn heel anyway, considering he was there facing another fan favorite. Carlito beating Chris Masters is ideal, I suppose. Pretty decent promo from Jack Swagger to start things off tonight on SmackDown. I liked his promo on Ted Dibiase, and a decent set up to what could be a decent road to the World Heavyweight Championship for either him or Dibiase. Dibiase beating Swagger is a surprise, but I like it. Dibiase seems equal to Swagger here, anyway. Wow, I'm looking forward to Wade Barrett's SmackDown debut, but there's no way he is beating Edge unfortunately. I can't even see this being main event worthy, to be honest. It would suit as first-hour main event. Beth Phoenix beating Layla is fine, I really do like the Phoenix against Michelle McCool and Layla feud going on. Tiffany and Mickie James making the save was nice. Melina returning sounds good to me. MVP beating Luke Gallows is fine, a solid first hour main event there I suppose; still would have preferred Barrett to face Edge here but, nevermind. Next, good promo from ShoMiz, setting up again about how they are solid WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, but I wonder what's next for them. It seemed like a waste of time promo there. Kofi Kingston and Jeff Hardy beating Drew McIntyre and Curt Hawkins is fine; now Kofi and Jeff could be great threats to ShoMiz, even if temporary as I know they are preoccupied. Interesting the way you book The Dudebusters managing McIntyre and Hawkins. Lastly, Edge beating Barrett was very likely, but an upset was doable, or even a disqualification finish would have been nice. At least Wade looked credible, but to be honest this was a weak main event. Edge standing tall over the World Heavyweight Champion is good, going into Over the Limit. A decent show.
