-Good opening promo. Let's go Punk! -Hardy beating Swagger is great. Hoping Hardy wins the WHC. -M.V.P and Tiffany winning is fine. -Edge beating Shelton is the right call. -Beth beating McCool to retain was obvious. Hope McCool regains before the year is over. -Barrett beating Yang was awesome for Barrett's push. -Show beating Punk is alright. Yea, Punk would've made the match more exciting but it brings out the Punk/MVP feud as well as giving Show another run before retirement.

Read over this for the first time in ages, and I must say, I'm impressed! Seems to have some serious longevity left in it too.
Just touching on this week's RAW, I'm a sucker for masked attacks and whodunit storylines, so needless to say I'm intrigued and will be following closely.
I know many people don't, but I really like Sheamus. Glad you're using him really well and booking him as the beast he is. Matt Hardy losing his mind is a weird twist, but one that's got me interested. I'm really keen to see how you handle that.
Danielson getting the rub over Miz almost had me springing a boner. Woo!
The masked men attack to finish the show was risky, and could've come off as a bit redundant - but you handled it beautifully. The sign of a good booker who can set out his write-ups with class.
I'll get onto SmackDown soon, bro.

- Decent opening promo. Punk vs Show shall be interesting. - Hardy and Swagger is great to have open, glad Hardy won even with his emoness. - A fatal four way for the IC Title too, eh? Should be good. - Interesting mixed tag team match, would've preferred Gallows/Serena win but fine. - Glad that Edge got into the Fatal Four Way Match, Benjamin wouldn't be good at this point. - Interesting segment from Cryme Tyme, meh on if they break up or not. - Beth retaining is good; Melina arriving is fine. Expected a F4W divas match. - Barrett over Jimmy Wang Yang is obvious as it is just a squash match. - Lastly, surprised to see Big Show take this one - but I suppose its ok.
Good Smackdown.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW May 31st, 2010 - Austin, Texas
WWE Superstars: R-Truth def. Vladimir Kozlov Gail Kim def. Jillian
- The show opens up with Bret Hart coming out and declaring that tonight, John Cena may not be able to compete due to injuries sustained at the hands of the Masked Men last week. Hart says the Masked Men are under investigation and he vows to find out who they are. He says that tonight, the Main Event was scheduled to be John Cena teaming with Randy Orton to face Sheamus and the WWE Champion, Batista, but with Cena perhaps notbeing here, it will be forced to be a Handicap match. We then get on with the show.
Christian, Rey Mysterio & John Morrison def. Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes & Matt Hardy A brilliant opener for tonight's Raw, featuring tons of talent. It was obvious the controversy between Rhodes and Ziggler was still there which allowed Christian to take advantage and drop Rhodes with the Killswitch for the victory. Even after the match, John Morrison and Matt Hardy brawled, showing that their feud is ongoing.
April Lee w/ Maryse def. Kelly Kelly April Lee put Kelly away with a fantastic Shining Wizard. After the match, Lee and Maryse mocked Kelly, slapping her around. Maryse shouted up the ramp that Natalya's Divas Championship reign was coming to an end very soon.
Unified Tag Team Championships - The Hart Dynasty [C] def. The Miz & Mark Henry Unfortunately for The Miz, Mark Henry didn't want to be his partner at all, and dropped Miz with a World's Strongest Slam, allowing The Hart Dynasty to hit him with the Hart Attack for the victory, retaining their titles.
Paul Burchill w/ Katie Lea Burchill def. Evan Bourne The Burchills returned tonight on Raw and mad an impact as Paul defeated Evan Bourne after dropping him with the Dangerous Buster.
Ezekiel Jackson w/ William Regal def. Bryan Danielson A fantastic match here, showcasing both men. Danielson was looking for a huge victory over the constantly growing Ezekiel Jackson, but it wasn't to be when Jackson finished him off with the Book of Ezekiel.
- The Main Event is here and we were shocked to hear the theme of John Cena who storms to the ring looking extremely serious.
John Cena & Randy Orton def. Batista & Sheamus Cena was unbeatable tonight, extremely focused on revenge. The match goes on for a while and Orton takes Batista out of the equation, battling with him on the outside. Cena then drops Sheamus with an Attitude Adjustment, picking up the victory. Cena was ready for Fatal 4 Way, adn ready to et some payback on the Masked Men.
- Speaking of them, they jump into the ring, followed by Mr. McMahon who remains on the outside of the ring, directing traffic. The Masked Men attempt yet another beat down on Cena, but Randy Orton jumps in and evens the odds and the two fight them off. The Masked Men flee before their identities can be revealed, along with Mr. McMahon and the WWE Champion, Batista. Cena shouts up the ramp, saying he will get them as Raw fades to a close.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN June 4th, 2010 - Dallas, Texas
WWE Superstars: Wade Barrett w/ Chris Jericho def. Chris Masters The Great Khali def. Carlito via Disqualification Carlito hit The Great Khali multiple times with a steel chair.
- The show opens with Theodore Long saying that at WWE Fatal 4 Way, he and Bret Hart have decided that there will be a four way Unified Tag Team Championships match, and tonight, the first team will be decided in a match between Cryme Tyme and The Dudebusters.
Tiffany w/ Beth Phoenix def. Layla w/ Michelle McCool A great match, with Tiffany managing to put Layla away, with a little help from Beth Phoenix after hitting her with a huge DDT.
Zack Ryder w/ Rosa Mendes def. Hornswoggle w/ Goldust Apparently Zack Ryder requested this match... why is that not surprising? Ryder destroyed Hornswoggle as Goldust was defenseless. He finished Hornswoggle off with a kick to the skull. Goldust tended to Hornswoggle as Ryder and Mendes left with smirks on their faces.
Fatal 4 Way Qualifying Match - The Dudebusters def. Cryme Tyme In a shocking turn of events, Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta managed to put Cryme Tyme away and advance to Fatal 4 Way. Even they couldn't believe it after they drilled JTG with the Dudebuster as Shad was unable to enter the ring.
- Afterwards, Shad lifted JTG to his feet and simply said "It's over..." before botting JTG in the skull in anger. Shad spat on his former partner before leaving as the WWE Universe looked on in shock.
CM Punk w/ The Straight Edge Society def. Yoshi Tatsu This was thought to be a squash, but Yoshi put up a big fight. However, in the end, CM Punk dropped Yoshi with the Go To Sleep for the victory. Afterwards, MVP came out to greet Punk with some fists, but The Straight Edge Society escaped. MVP then tended to Tatsu.
Kofi Kingston & Ted DiBiase w/ Brett DiBiase def. Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger These four men will compete in a Fatal 4 Way match for McIntyre's Intercontinental Championship at the Pay Per View. Tonight, Mr. Money in the Bank, Kofi Kingston picked up the victory when he took Jack Swagger out with the Trouble In Paradise for the victory. McIntyre fled with his belt as Kingston and DiBiase pointed to him. Kingston and DiBiase then looked at each other and shook hands before looking back at McIntyre.
Non-Title - Chris Jericho w/ Wade Barrett def. Big Show via Disqualification This was a great Main Event as Big Show finally got his hands on his former partner. It was all looking in Show's favour until Wade Barrett jumped onto the apron, only to receive a Knockout Punch. However, the damage was done as Jericho knocked Show through the ropes. He thought he had him, but out of nowhere, Edge rushed to the ring and Speared Jericho to the canvas, forcing the referee to ring the bell.
- After the match, Edge continued to brawl with Jericho, Then, Jeff Hardy rushed to ringside and dropkicked Edge to the canvas. Hardy then lifted Jericho up only to drop him with a Twist of Fate. Big Show re-entered the ring and knocked Hardy out cold with his right hand blow. Show then turned around only to be Speared by Edge, who was the last person to stand tall on SmackDown. He grabbed Jericho's World Heavyweight Championship and raised it high as SmackDown faded to a close.
NOTE: Sorry about the short results and the shoddy booking, but this was done in about an hour because I am a week behind schedule. Next week will be back to normal, starting tomorrow with Raw, which will be the 3-hour King of the Ring special. Thanks for sticking with this.

WWE RAW: Monday 31st May 2010...Welcome back to simming, Elliot. Let's see what you had in the past week. R-Truth beating Vladimir Kozlov on Superstars was fine; hoping to see R-Truth finally sink his teeth into a program eventually, however. Kozlov is definitely on his way to the chopping block, to be honest. Gail Kim and Jillian have had a lot of matches in the past few months, too. Gail winning was obvious. Good promo by Bret Hart to start up RAW and setting up the main event with the possibility of a handicap main event. I like the sound of this. Anyways, great opening six-man tag team contest with Christian, Rey Mysterio and John Morrison getting one up on Dolph Ziggler, Matt Hardy and Cody Rhodes in a perfect meshing of programs and feuds going on. I am looking forward to where this goes. AJ Lee beating Kelly Kelly; saw it coming, I don't mind but I definitely dislike AJ Lee by ring name. It just seems lie a name you'd hear on the independent circuit, not a global phenomenon. I suppose The Hart Dynasty defeating The Miz and Mark Henry was a decent main event; not that great though. I would have liked to see some backstory revealed; weird what is happening with Miz. I wish we could see something good happen, though. Paul Burchill returning to RAW I like, dislike Katie Lea Burchill sticking with her, and the fact that Evan Bourne had to lose here. He needs something to keep momentum with, but this seems like an ideal storyline to come in upcoming weeks. Strange that Ezekiel Jackson and Bryan Danielson was actually a good match; David vs Goliath situation here and a good win for Zeke. Nice try by Danielson, though. John Cena and Randy Orton beating Batista and Sheamus is fine; a good main event and the Masked Mens' involvement was good. A decent show it seemed, would have liked maybe a tiny bit of backstory though.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 4th June 2010...Wade Barrett beating Chris Masters would have kept Masters over and allowed Barrett to get a much-needed win here. Barrett will hopefully seperate from Chris Jericho in the near future, however. The Great Khali beating Carlito; bleh, but the disqualification finish is ingenius. A great way to advance Carlito by having him get himself disqualified. Cowardly and wise. Reminds me of when Khali did this situation with Dolph Ziggler last year. It elevated Ziggler a lot. Good idea for the four-corner WWE Unified Tag Team Championships match at Fatal 4 Way; slow build for that in qualifying matches is great. Tiffany beating Layla; a weak match to start up but not too bad I suppose. Beth Phoenix's interference made it seem appropriate. Zack Ryder overcoming Hornswoggle; haha. I liked it a lot. Interesting segment. The Dudebusters overcoming Cryme Tyme is fine; Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta advancing seems good. Shad Gaspard and JTG's team being over is alright, but definitely hoping none of these get a big push. They are both lacklustre any way they are built. A great first hour main event win for CM Punk against Yoshi Tatsu; Punk winning was obvious. Kofi Kingston and Ted Dibiase against Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger would have seemed more appropriate for a first hour main event however. A good win for Dibiase and Kingston forwarding their situation. Lastly, a good main event with Jerishow exploding; and Chris Jericho beating Big Show by interference from Edge. Jeff Hardy also involved was great; a good show as a whole.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS June 7th, 2010 - Tonight on Raw, it is the 3-hour special edition for the King of the Ring Tournament. WWE.com revealed the eight participants in the Tournament late last night and you can view them by clicking here.
- According to an inside source, the idea of a Fatal 4 Way match for the Unified Tag Team Championships has been cut, despite been mentioned this past week at the SmackDown tapings. WWE.com has updated their Fatal 4 Way card, advertising the Unified Tag Team Championship match as a regular tag team match pitting the Champions, The Hart Dynasty against The Dudebusters.
- Many within the company feel that with The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels coming towards the ends of their careers, not enough talent is been made to replace them. Shawn Michaels is said to be returning to us during the Summer, with an almost certain retirement at WrestleMania XXVII. The Undertaker has stated that he will remain with the WWE until he is no longer able, however, company officials are worried for his health, having to recover from injuries every year and suffering quite a lot. More on this as it comes.
- WWE SummerSlam is been hyped across the globe already, and we have already reported that their are rumoured Main Events including Chris Jericho versus Edge, whether or not that will be for the World Championship is unknown.

June 7th, 2010 - Miami, Florida; King of the Ring Tournament Edition
Ezekiel Jackson w/ William Regal def. Finlay Christian, Evan Bourne & Kelly Kelly def. Cody Rhodes, Paul Burchill & Katie Lea Burchill
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event...
Cue Opening Package
- The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as the crowd go wild. The commentary team of Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and Matt Striker greet us to this 3-hour spectacular event, ready for the King of the Ring Tournament to begin. They reminds us that eight Raw and SmackDown superstars will compete for the crown tonight with the winner receiving a World Championship match in the future. They also remind us of tonight's huge Interbrand Main Event as the WWE Champion, Batista teams with the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho, Sheamus and Wade Barrett take on Randy Orton, Edge, the Big Show and Jeff Hardy in Eight-Man Tag Team action! We then go right into the opening contest.
King of the Ring Quarter Final Match - MVP def. Matt Hardy | A brilliant way to open up tonight's Raw with a King of the Ring Quarter Final match. Matt Hardy remained in his unstable state, attacking MVP and occasionally shouting that 'Jeff is nothing compared to him'. The match comes to a close when MVP escapes the Twist of Fate, drill Hardy with the Drive-By Kick to pick up the first victory of the night and advance to the Semi-Finals. MVP celebrates and leaves up the ramp to a pop as Matt Hardy looks on in anger at his loss. We then fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to Raw to see John Cena make his way to the ring to a massive pop. However, he comes out looking extremely serious, entering the ring and then speaking to the WWE Universe. He says that last week, he managed to fight off the Masked Men with the help of Randy Orton. He thanks Orton and says that he will get to the bottom of these attacks. He then says that he was suspiciously left out of the Main Event tonight, and points the finger at Mr. McMahon, saying he has been trying to keep him off of Raw for a while now. He says that despite not been booked for tonight's show, he will use this time to go backstage and investigate his attackers. Cena says that whether it takes him weeks or months, he will get to the bottom of it. He then leaves ringside as we cut backstage.
- We see Josh Mathews backstage with CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena to a lot of heat. He asks Punk if he thinks that he can win the King of the Ring Tournament this year after coming so close in 2008. Punk says that in 2008, he was stupid and wasn't appreciating his Straight Edge lifestyle enough, and that caused him to loe. He says that he knows he can win tonight, and he will, through the power of Straight Edge. Punk tells us that he is in action next against a prime example of what Straight Edge isn't, in Rey Mysterio. He says that tonight, he will beat Mysterio, and then anyone else he has to face and become the King of the Ring, earning himself a future World Championship match which is where he should be. The Straight Edge Society leave as we fade to ringside.
King of the Ring Quarter Final Match - CM Punk w/ The Straight Edge Society def. Rey Mysterio | This was a relitively quick match to be fair, Rey Mysterio is starting to show some signs of injury to his knees, but he battled through, giving us a good match. Luke Gallows and Serena once again play a vital part in Punk's match, Serena distracting the referee while Gallows attacks. The match ended when Punk caught Mysterio on his shoulders after a springboard moonsault and delivered a huge GTS to put Mysterio away. Afterwards, The Straight Edge Society taunted over the body of Mysterio, Punk signalling that he was 1-0 up in the Tournament. We then fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to see Bret Hart backstage to a huge pop. He is along with the Unified Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty and the Divas Champion, Natalya. He tells them that tonight, he has booked The Hart Dynasty against SmackDown's Dudebusters in a WWE Fatal 4 Way preview match. Kidd and Smith nod their heads before Hart says that Natalya will take on April Lee one-on-one tonight on Raw. We then cut to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing on the 20th of June, 2010. We then return to Raw.
- John Cena is seen walking down the corridor to a pop. He sharply turns and enters a locker room, which just so happens to be taken by Ezekiel Jackson and William Regal. Cena squares up to Regal and directly questions him about the Masked attacks. Regal chuckles and says that he and Ezekiel don't need masks to take him out, if they wanted to, they would do it face to face. Cena says he isn't joking and demands Regal tell him anything he knows. Ezekiel Jackson steps in front of Regal and says "Cena, I could break you right now if I wanted to, why wear a mask?". Cena leaves the locker room with a serious look on his face as Regal calms Jackson down. We then fade to ringside.
Non-title - The Hart Dynasty def. The Dudebusters | This match will take place in less than two weeks at WWE Fatal 4 Way, but tonight, Bret Hart booked it as a preview. The Dudebusters showed that they definitely have what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the Unified Tag Team Champions, but unfortunately for them, The Hart Dynasty were better tonight and took Caylen Croft out with a Hart Attack for the victory. Afterwards, The Hart Dynasty celebrated, but were attacked by The Dudebusters, clearly angry at their loss. They held the Unified Tag Team Titles high, despite them not being theirs as we fade to a promo package. |
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring Raw superstar, John Cena. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
King of the Ring Quarter Final Match - Jack Swagger def. Ted DiBiase | Oh the feud these two have had since been drafted to SmackDown. Back and forth victories over the past couple of months, not really showing who is the better of the two. Tonight however was in the favour of Jack Swagger who took DiBiase to the limit with his amateur wrestling ability. It was obvious that both men wanted this so much, but it seems that Swagger wanted it that much more. He dropped DiBiase with a Gutwrench Powerbomb to pick up the victory and advance to the Semi-Finals later on tonight. Swager celebrated as we fade backstage. |
- John Cena is shown again, this time in the locker room of Dolph Ziggler. He questions Ziggler about being one of the Masked Men, but Ziggler says he has nothing to prove as he is already the greatest superstar on Raw. Cena turns around nad walks right into Vladimir Kozlov who gets some heat. Cena says "I'd know if it was you.. your breath stinks!" The crowd laugh as Cena walks around Kozlov. Kozlov looks confused and turns to Ziggler who says "He's right..." and walks off. Kozlov stands alone as we fade to ringside.
King of the Ring Quarter Final Match - John Morrison def. The Miz | Two former tag team partners, former best friends, now enemies. This is the first time these two have faced off on Raw since Morrison was drafted earlier this year. The two battled it out, back and forth, and after months of calling each other the 'Jannety' of the team, Morrison finally showed that he was the superior one... on this night anyway. However, it has to be noted that Bryan Danielson did make his presence felt, rushing to the ring and distracting The Miz, allowing Morrison to hit the flying chuck kick and finish Miz off with the Starship Pain, advancing to the Semi-Finals. Morrison celebrates as Danielson and Miz share glares. We then fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to see Mr. McMahon on the phone in his office to a lot of heat. He says "There is no need for your services tonight, take the night off. Cena is dealt with for now". Unlucky for him, John Cena bursts in, but McMahon already has security on hand who grab Cena by the arms, stopping him from moving any closer. Cena shouts "What's your problem, McMahon? What have I ever done to you?", to which McMahon replies "You stuck your nose in my business, something you should never do. I told you I would make you pay, and here we are, making you pay". He sadistically chuckles before telling the security guards to remove him from the building. Cena leaves been the gentlemen he is, followed by security as McMahon smirks. We then fade to ringside.
Non-title - Natalya def. April Lee w/ Maryse | A regular divas match, nothing special. April Lee looked great in this, but Natalya got the big finish, making Lee tap out to the Sharpshooter as Maryse looked on from the outside. Maryse helped Lee out of the ring as Natalya held her Divas Championship high. Maryse said she was coming for the belt and Natalya basically told her to bring it. The two will face off at WWE Fatal 4 Way. We then fade to a promo package. |
- We see a promo package for tomorrow night's WWE NXT Season Two Premiere. It shows all eight Rookies with their Pros and hypes up tomorrow's show. We then return to Raw.
- Josh Mathews is backstage with MVP to a pop. He asks MVP if he thinks he can go all the way and win this King of the Ring Tournament. MVP says he has some worthy competitors, but he knows if he gives it his all, he can win the whole thing, because he's simply Ballin'! He walks off as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
King of the Ring Semi Final Match - John Morrison def. CM Punk w/ The Straight Edge Society | These two have a storied history, feuding into a match at WrestleMania XXVI in which John Morrison won. Once again, Morrison is victorious, defeating Punk to advance to the Final of the King of the Ring Tournament. The two battled evenly, but after a miscalculation of interference, Morrison took advantage. Serena distracted the referee, just like earlier, but Luke Gallows accidentally tripped up Punk instead of Morrison. This allowed Morrison to grab the head of Punk and drill him with the Moonlight drive, picking up the victory. Punk goes mad, shouting at Luke Gallows for the incident. Morrison leaves in celebration as we cut backstage. |
- Bret Hart is seen entering the office of Mr. McMahon which gets a massive pop. Hart and McMahon come face to face, both men looking rather angry. Hart says "What do you think you're doing, Vince? Cena didn't do anything to deserve this". McMahon tells Hart he should keep out of this unless he wants a part of it. Hart says that McMahon seems to forget that he owns just as much of the company as he does. McMahon replies, telling him that if all his paperwork goes through, it won't be for much longer. Hart asks what he is talking about, and McMahon says "You'll see, Bret". Bret leaves the office in confusion as McMahon smirks. We then cut to ringside.
King of the Ring Semi Final Match - Jack Swagger def. MVP | MVP said he was in it to win it, but apparently, Swagger had his number. MVP put up one hell of a fight, taking it to Swagger with everything he had, but the sore loser, CM Punk and his Straight Edge goons wouldn't allow any of it to happen. Gallows and Serena distracted the referee while CM Punk entered the ring and attacked MVP, but unfortunately for him, MVP had it all scouted and battled CM Punk away. MVP taunted to Punk, telling him to stay out, but the damage was done as Swagger rolled MVP up with a handful of tights and picked up a sly victory, advancing to the Final of the King of the Ring Tournament. Swagger fled, knowing full well that MVP wouldn't be pleased, and he wasn't. MVP got up and shouted at the referee, telling him that Swagger pulled the tights, but nothing was done about it. The Straight Edge Society left shortly after Swagger, smiling at MVP and sarcastically waving at him. MVP shouts at Punk, saying he will get him as we fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to see Josh Mathews backstage with Randy Orton to a huge pop. He asks Orton if he has any idea who the Masked Men are who attacked John Cena over the past few weeks. Orton says he hasn't got a clue, but he thinks it's a couple of cowards. He admits to some vicious attacks in his past, mostly on John Cena himself, but he says he would never do it from behind a mask. He says that if you have a problem with someone, you should do something about it face to face. Ironically, SmackDown's Edge walks onto the scene to another huge pop. Edge and Orton go silent for a moment before Edge says "Heya, Randy". Orton nods his head at Edge. Edge says that tonight, Rated RKO reunite in the Eight-Man Main Event, along with Big Show and Jeff Hardy. He says he is looking forward to it. Jeff Hardy walks onto the scene to yet another huge pop. He says that he has had plenty of history with both men, but tonight, they need to put that behind them and defeat their opponents tonight. Big Show then appears, to a final pop. He says that even though they are team mates tonight, he won't hesitate to pull out the right hand if anyone gets in his way. Show walks off and they all disperse leaving Josh Mathews looking rather intimidated. We then return to ringside.
King of the Ring Final Match - Jack Swagger def. John Morrison | A fantastic match in the Final of the 2010 King of the Ring Tournament. Back and forth action all the way, both men competing twice beforehand, looking rather sluggish. However, both men managed to put on a very worthy performance and in the end, it all came to a close. Jack Swagger was in control, but the tide turned suddenly and John Morrison managed to get Swagger down for the Starship Pain. But Swagger gets his knees up and Morrison virtually changes shape around them, crunching into them in pain. Swagger then lifts the pain-filled body of John Morrison and drops him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the three count, capturing himself the title of 2010 King of the Ring! Jack Swagger is ecstatic but the crowd aren't too pleased. |
- Swagger leaves the ring and ventures up the ramp to where the King of the Ring throne is positioned. He grabs the staff and sits in the throne, before demanding officials come and cloak him in the King of the Ring coat. They do and place the crown on his head as he screams that he is the future of the WWE. John Morrison looks through the ropes in pain, clearly feeling disappinted that he lost. We then fade to a promo package on a shot of Jack Swagger taunting from the throne.
- We see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, focusing mostly on the WWE Championship match featuring the Champion, Batista, John Cena, Randy Orton and Sheamus. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see the WWE Champion, Batista, to a lot of heat. He is alongside Josh Mathews who asks him if he has any idea who the Masked Men are who have been attacking John Cena. Batista looks at Mathews and says "Even if I knew, Josh, I wouldn't tell a pathetic boy like you! Now get out of here!" He shoves him out of the way and snatches the microphone. Batista states that tonight, he is looking to get payback on Randy Orton for last weeks loss and then he will go on to Fatal 4 Way in less than two weeks to retain his WWE Championship. He storms off as we fade to ringside.
Batista, Chris Jericho, Sheamus & Wade Barrett def. Randy Orton, Edge, Big Show & Jeff Hardy | Perhaps the Main Event of the year, right here. Wade Barrett kicked things off against Edge. Barrett took control and showed that he is very capable of wrestling with the big guns. He gained control for his team and tagged in Sheamus whop jumped in and went to work on Edge. However, Edge managed to take the control later on, tagging in Randy Orton who relit his feud with Sheamus in this match. All eight men got a piece of the action at some point until the legal men were Edge and Batista. Edge was caught off guard with a surprise Codebreaker from Chris Jericho, followed by a thunderous Batista Bomb from Batista. Randy Orton tried to stop the count, but Wade Barrett wouldn't let him into the ring. Batista got the victoy over Edge, winning it for his team. Batista, Jericho, Sheamus and Barrett left ringside with smiles on their faces as Orton, Hardy, Show and Edge regrouped inside the ring. Show, Edge and Hardy looked very uneasy at this point, staring at each other, knowing that in less than two weeks they would be opponents. Randy Orton stood back and watched, knowing that he had his own match to worry about. Raw then fades to a close |

Wrestling Observer News June 8th, 2010 - The decision to have Jack Swagger win the King of the Ring Tournament is said to have been a long-term decision and has been decided for months. We reported a few months back that Jack Swagger was ready for a push within the WWE, adn this seems to be it, as on Raw, the commentators plugged that the winner of the Tournament would win a future World Championships shot which could very well be Jack Swagger's claim to fame.
- WWE.com have announced that CM Punk will take on MVP at WWE Fatal 4 Way in a rematch from Over the Limit. The Punk/MVP feud is said to be continuing through to The Bash, and perhaps even SummerSlam, bu expect some match variations.

-I love the graphics you have. -MVP beating Matt Hardy is good to kick off the show. But I've been itching to see a Matt Hardy push somewhere. -CM Punk beating Mysterio is a good call. Hope Punk wins the whole thing. -Harts beating Dudebusters is the simply right call. -Swagger beating DiBiase I like but, on the flip side, hate Swagger going over Ted so much. I think this series is 3-1. Wish atleast now Ted won at OTL. -Morrison beating Punk is alright. Now hoping JoMo wins. -Swagger beating MVP and then Morrison back to back I not sure of. Swagger should've obviously been fatigued or so so Morrison should've won IMO. -Big main event. Like the heels winning so good on that. -Good RAW.

-Matt Hardy was attacking Dibiase? What was he doing in this match? Anyway, glad MVP won -Cena investigating the attacks should be good TV, investigations always are entertaining -Punk over Rey is excellent, I'm pulling for him to win the entire thing -The Dynasty over the Dudebusters is good, sets up the match at Fatal Four Way good -Swagger/Dibiase was good as it continued their feud and love that Swagger won. If Punk doesn't win the Tournament, I want Swagger -Cena's segment with Ziggler & Kozlov was funny -Morrison over Miz was okay, figured he'd win as the next round needed another face -Natalya over April Lee was a decent Divas match -Hate that Morrison went over Punk -The SES getting involved in the MVP/Swagger match worked well as Swagger took home the win -Orton's backstage stuff was good -Thank god Swagger won the King of the Ring! Push him to the moon! -Great eight man tag main event, love that the heels won
Very good episode of Raw, glad it was wrestling heavy and not promo heavy. Love Swagger as KOTR also

WWE RAW; King of the Ring: Monday 7th June 2010...Decent win for Ezekiel Jackson against Finlay, but a big shame he wasn't featured on RAW this week. Same for Christian, Evan Bourne and Cody Rhodes; glad that Christian and Bourne with Kelly Kelly overcame Paul and Katie Lea Burchill with Cody Rhodes. A good opening contest, and MVP advancing into the semi-final round is best if you ask me, but I would have preferred the promo following with John Cena go on first, or having another promo promote the King of the Ring tournament. A good promo with Cena and mentioning Vince McMahon and the masked men. I hope to see them revealed soon enough. A great match between CM Punk and Rey Mysterio; yet heartbreaking it was thrown up in this quick match. I hated this decision, if honest. Could see Punk winning this time, however. Cena's segment with William Regal and Zeke was amusing. I like seeing Cena look for confrontation in non-wrestling segments as opposed to matches. The Hart Dynasty overcoming The Dudebusters is fine; a good win for the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions. The post-match attack was intriguing. Hmm, not a fan of Jack Swagger facing Ted Dibiase as both are SmackDown superstars. The rest of the matches have been SmackDown vs RAW; but regardless, a decent first hour main event. Swagger advancing is fine. Again, I hate John Morrison and The Miz being thrown into some random quarter final match. And since both are RAW superstars, why didn't you switch it up so that Dibiase took on Miz and Morrison fought Swagger? It would have done so better if it stuck to SmackDown vs RAW tournament standards. And much more meaningful because then in the semi-finals you could have Miz face Morrison in a second-hour main event: much more deserving for both men in their on-and-off rivalry. Natalya beating April Lee seems fine by me, not a big problem. Not too sure of your lack of promotion for NXT: Season Two personally, wish it had one more week hype but nevermind. John Morrison overcoming CM Punk is surprising, but I'm all for it. Pretty big match here. A decent promo with Vince McMahon and Bret Hart though. Jack Swagger defeating MVP is a fine second-hour main event; very good match. Swagger should win the King of the Ring if you ask me, for his persona. Wow, the eight-man tag team match is getting good. Swagger winning the finals of the tournament is great, but way too soon afer Swagger just won a match. For extra prestige, should have really main evented; eight man tag or no eight man tag. But a great get-together of the eight man feud with Batista, Chris Jericho, Wade Barrett and Sheamus defeating Randy Orton, Big Show, Jeff Hardy and Edge. A good show as a whole, but not sure on some booking.

June 8th, 2010 - Tampa, Florida; Season Two Premier
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
- Before the show officially opens up, we see Matt Striker backstage with the eight brand new NXT Rookies, all looking ready to make their debuts. Striker says that tonight, a new season of NXT begins and following in the footsteps of Wade Barrett, one more Rookie will become the WWE's next breakout star! We then cut to a opening package.
Cue Opening Package Official intro coming when released!
- The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as the crowd go wild. We are taken to Josh Mathews and Michael Cole by ringside who welcome us to the premiere episode of WWE NXT's second season. Mathews tells us that tonight, not all of the Rookies will be in action, but the ones who don't debut this week will debut next week. They hype the show as a 'twelve week journey', with show ending around September time. We then see Matt Striker enter the ring and speak to the WWE Universe.
- He tells welcomes us to the show and then introduces each pairing. The Pros and Rookies come to the ring and Striker picks a few to tell him how it feels to be a part of NXT. He asks Joe Hennig who says he is happy to be here and wants to do his father proud. Percy Watson is asked too, and he says he is a party guy, and he is looking at this as one big party, and he wants to win. Finally, Striker asks Alex Riley who says that no matter who he is put up against, he is coming out on top in this competition. Matt Striker tells us that we have three weeks to get to know the eight Rookies as in three weeks, we will have our very first Pro's Poll, and the Rookie at the bottom of the Poll will be eliminated from the compeition. Striker then says that the show is about to start, and our first match pits Kaval up against Duke Rotundo. Everyone else leaves as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing on June 20th, 2010. We then return to WWE NXT.
Kaval w/ Rey Mysterio def. Duke Rotundo w/ Cody Rhodes | The very first match of Season Two here in WWE NXT, and a good match it was. The action went back and forth for the majority of the match until an opening came about for Kaval to take control. Rotundo made the mistake of going to the top rope with Kaval. Kaval shoved him off and drove him to the canvas. He then jumped from the top and drove both his feet into the chest of Rotundo, hitting the move apparently called the Warrior's Way. He then covers Rotundo to pick up the victory. Kaval and Mysterio celebrate as Cody Rhodes looks on in disappointment at Rotundo. Rotundo tries to apologise to Rhodes, but Rhodes has already walked up the ramp. We then fade backstage. |
- Matt Striker is backstage alongside Lucky Cannon and his Pro, Mark Henry. He asks him if he is pleased to be paired with the World's Strongest Man. Cannon says that he couldn't have bene given a better Pro for him. He says that Henry has made accomplishments that no other WWE superstar has accomplished, and that's exactly what he is going to do. He says that he is going to win NXT and be the next breakout star in the WWE. Henry tells him that he shouldn't be so confident, as he still has a lot to learn. He says that Lucky Cannon is a talented young man, but it takes time to become a WWE superstar. Cannon nods his head and the two walk off as we fade to an NXT package.
- We are shown a package, promoting NXT Rookie, Percy Watson. It shows an interview with him, saying he is all about the party and can't wait to bring the party to the WWE Universe. He says that if he wins NXT, he is going to make sure that every night on either Raw or SmackDown is part night. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see a quick recap of the King of the Ring Tournament from last night on Raw. It finished with a shot of Jack Swagger celebrating whilst sitting in the throne as the winner. We then return to NXT.
Eli Cottonwood w/ John Morrison def. Zack Ryder w/ Titus O'Neil & Rosa Mendes | The first Rookie versus Pro match of Season Two and it was a good night for the Rookies. However, it should be taken into account that Zack Ryder was put up against a seven foot tall monster. Cottonwood put Ryder away with Sit-out Chokebomb for the victory. John Morrison celebrated with Cottonwood, keeping a close eye on him, as if he didn't trust him. Cottonwood is a strange character, so it's probably best that Morrison does watch over him. Titus O'Neil helps his Pro out of the ring as we fade to an NXT package. |
- We see a package promoting NXT Rookie, Lucky Cannon. It shows a quick interview with him, him saying he's a winner here in NXT and won't give up his dream of becoming a professional in the WWE. We then fade backstage.
- Matt Striker is backstage with Joe Hennig and his Pro, Mr. Money in the Bank, Kofi Kingston. Striker asks Hennig if he is pleased with his Pro, Kingston. Hennig says he loves the fact that his Pro could become the World Champion at any given time, he says it's exciting and he wishes Kingston the best. Kingston pats him on the back and says he's going to do his best for Hennig, for both him and in memory of his father, the late Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig. Striker wishes both of them luck as they are on their way to the ring for the Main Event. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see Alex Riley and his Pro, The Miz backstage, in front of a camera. The Miz shouts into the camera, telling the WWE Universe that his last Rookie, 'Daniel Bryan' was pathetic. He says that this season he has been given true talent in the form of Alex Riley, and that he will take him all the way to the top and win WWE NXT. Riley says that unlike Bryan, he will pay attention to The Miz and learn everything he needs to know, on top of everything he already knows. He says he is perfection, and this NXT competition would simply give him the springboard to the WWE. They two leave and we get ready for the Main Event.
Alex Riley & The Miz def. Joe Hennig & Kofi Kingston | A great Main Event to close off NXT. The two Rookies were showcased more in this match, but Kingston and Miz did battle it out at one point. At the end of the match, Riley and Hennig were the legal men. Kingston rushed across the ring and took The Miz off the apron, and then followed him to the outside where they brawled. Inside the ring, Joe Hennig was ready to put Riley away with the Hennig Plex, but instead, Riley rolled Hennig up into a small package and picked up a sly victory for himself and The Miz. Riley and Miz escape up the ramp as Kingston jumps in the ring. Kingston and Hennig get to their feet and stare up the ramp at Miz and Riley who have huge grins on their faces. WWE NXT fades to a close on the shot of Riley and Miz. |

WWE NXT: Tuesday 8th June 2010...A pretty decent promo to start up this edition of NXT, with Matt Striker introducing this season's eight NXT Rookies with their WWE Pros. I am so glad to see you've gone with Joe Hennig not being renamed Michael McGillicutty, as well as Kaval not being set up with Michelle McCool and Layla. Hmm, maybe three weeks time is a little too soon for the first elimination, if honest. I'd give them a good month to showcase themselves, like they did on television. As well as the WWE Universe's poll in a few weeks. Anyways, nice spontaneous way to start with Kaval taking on Duke Rotundo; and Rotundo looks to be in terrible shape; wouldn't surprise me if he were to be eliminated early on, if honest. Good set up with Lucky Cannon; if not for his name, he could be a finalist in the competition, but not winner. At least if he doesn't win; then he could become repackaged with a better name. Mark Henry as his Pro does confuse me, however. Percy Watson has what it takes to make it to the finals of NXT Season Two; at least on WWE television by 2011 anyways. Was surprised yet unsurprised at Zack Ryder losing to Eli Cottonwood; a fine way to put Cottonwood over though. Couldn't see Cottonwood not winning here, with his size. I can't see him winning though with his look. I wish that you had Joe playing a heelish role, as that's what he's good at; it seems likely that he will become victorious this season. I just dislike his kissing up to Kofi Kingston. I can imagine a feud with Daniel Bryan and Alex Riley in the future; with The Miz still feuding with Bryan too. Riley and Miz overcoming Kofi and Joe was likely, to be honest; a good main event and a decent start up show. Simple and effective.

Sorry about not getting to the King of the Ring. I just skimmed over it and Swagger winning the tournament is great.
Alex Riley is my favorite rookie of this class, so I hope to him gets booked correctly. Kaval having Mysterio as his Pro makes a lot of sense. I like Kaval getting the victory over Duke Rotundo. I think Kaval will and can get far. Eli Cottonwood is huge! I dislike Ryder losing the first ever Pro-Rookie match; that should have been saved for later. Alex Riley and The Miz is a great pairing and I think they will get far. Their victory over Joe Hennig and Kofi Kingston is solid.

Wrestling Observer News June 10th, 2010 - WWE.com has re-added Survivor Series to the Pay Per View listings in the November slot. It seems that the Thanksgiving tradition will continue, despite thoughts of retiring the event. The show will take place on November the 21st from Miami, Florida. Survivor Series will remain as one of the 'top four' Pay Per View events in the WWE alongside SummerSlam, the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.
- According to sources from within the WWE, the Raw Guest Host system is set to return soon, but with the Guest Hosts having minimal power over the show. It is simply being used as a publicity attraction in return for giving the Host time to promote themselves or a new project. Apparently, the system is set to return with the Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson behind the wheel. However, with Johnson stating earlier in the year that he has big plans for a future with the WWE, he could have more than just the Guest Host spot. Keep your eyes peeled for more news on this.
- Rey Mysterio is scheduled to take a short absence from the WWE in the next few months to receive his knee surgery which he has been holding of for quite a while. He is expected to run out his tenure as NXT Pro to Rookie, Kaval and then take time off.
- Many people are wondering exactly when superstars such as Triple H, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker will return. Shawn Michaels isn't expected to return until later in the year as he has been looking for an extended leave for quite some time now. Triple H is still out recovering from nagging injuries, but should be back in time for SummerSlam. Finally, The Undertaker will likely be back before SummerSlam too as the WWE are keen to bring him back as soon as possible. Current plans call for The Undertaker to enter some sort of feud with Jack Swagger when he returns. However, all that could change knowing the WWE.
- We have received many e-mails regarding the identity of the Masked Men on Raw. We cannot stress enough that we do not know who they are. We appreciate your e-mails, but it is as much of a mystery to us as it is to you. Names of all kinds have been brought up, some more ridiculous than others, but we're not even going to guess, just let the storyline run out and we'll fine out soon enough.

KOTR Special Raw:
- Liking MVP advancing in KOTR. Great opportunity for him here. - Punk defeating Mysterio is good, moving him on is fine. Don't expect him to win though. - The Hart Dynasty defeating The Dudebusters is good. Gives Dudebusters a decent opportunity. - Swagger defeating DiBiase is okay; although, would've been nice to see DiBiase get the KOTR. - Fine with Morrison winning this one, although, King Awesome II would of been cool. But King Morrison would be sweet. - Natalya defeating AJ Lee is definitely the right call here, as Natalya is the champion. - Morrison defeating Punk is great, now expecting him to end up facing Swagger. - Oh, and there we go! Jack Swagger wins against MVP. Good call there. - Agreeing with everybody else here, shouldn't of been right after. Swagger winning is good though. - Lastly, huge 8-man tag team match and the heel team of Edge, Sheamus, Jericho, and Barrett winning is good.
Good edition of Raw.
NXT:
- Good to open up with the introductions of the rookies. - Decent way to open things up match-wise, and Kaval winning is good. - Cottonwood defeating Ryder is nice, as it makes Ryder go bitch mode. - Great main event to have, and Riley/Miz defeating Hennig/Kingston is great.
Good first season 2 episode.

-I love the pairing of Mysterio & Kaval and glad he won the first NXT Season 2 match. Hoping he wins the whole thing -Lucky Cannon liking Mark Henry as his Pro sets up a good relationship -Eli Cottonwood beating Zack Ryder is huge for him, although it's going to be hard for him to lose at seven feet -Also love the Alex Riley/Miz pairing, as well as Hennig/Kingston. Excellent main event choice and Riley winning with a small package keeps Hennig strong
Very good first episode of NXT 2, looking forward to this season

June 11th, 2010 - Tampa, Florida; The King Greets his People
Shelton Benjamin def. Goldust w/ Hornswoggle MVP def. Zack Ryder w/ Rosa Mendes
"Yes, sir we promised you a great Main Event..."
- Before the show opens up, we see a quick recap of this past Monday's King of the Ring Tournament on the 3-hour edition of Raw. It goes throught all the matches and eventually shows the final where Jack Swagger defeats John Morrison. The package closes with a shot of Jack Swagger smiling whilst sat in the throne on the stage, cloaked in his royal cover and the crown on his head. We then open up SmackDown.
Cue Opening Package
- Pyrotechnics explode from the stage as the crowd cheer. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to the show and tell us that tonight, our Main Event will be Jeff Hardy versus Edge, two of the competitors in the World Heavyweight Championship Fatal 4 Way match in nine days time. They remind us of Jack Swagger's King of the Ring victory on Raw this past Monday, but they won't have to go on about it too long as here comes the man himself to a lot of heat. Jack Swagger walks out with a huge grin on his face, holding his King of the Ring crown in his right hand. He enters the ring and speaks to the WWE Universe.
- However, before he speaks, he grabs Tony Chimel and tells him something in his ear. Chimel then speaks to the crowd, saying "Ladies and Gentlemen, please rise and show your appreciation for your WWE King of the Ring 2010, Jack Swagger!" Swagger looks into the sky and smiles, but all he gets is boos from the crowd. He snatches the microphone from CHimel and speaks. He tells us that he is the 2010 King of the Ring adn that we should respect him a hell of a lot more. He reminds us that he survived a eight-man tournament to win the crown, and he deserves tons of respect. He says that along with that, he earned himself a World Heavyweight Championship match whenever he wants. Swagger says that he is going to hold onto his Championship match clause for a while and oversee what happens on SmackDown. He says that it may not be the Money in the Bank briefcase, but he can ask for a Championship match with three weeks notice and he will get it. Speaking of the Money in the Bank briefcase, Kofi Kingston cuts Swagger off and comes out to a pop. Kingston congratulates Swagger on his victory, but tells him not to get too lost in his own world, because they are competing in a Fatal 4 Way for Drew McIntyre's Intercontinental Championship in nine days time. Swagger asks Kofi what he thinks he is doing disrupting his royal speech. Kingston tells him that tonight, they will go one-on-one, and that's right now! Kingston walks towards the ring as Swagger prepares as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Jack Swagger def. Kofi Kingston | The King of the Ring taking on Mr. Money in the Bank, what a match to open up SmackDown. The action went back and forth, definitely going evenly most of the way. It was a great match until the Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre comes out. He stands by ringside and observes the match, looking pretty innocent at first. That doesn't last for long though as he jumps onto the apron, trying to distract Kofi Kingston. Suddenly, Ted and Brett DiBiase rush to ringside and yank him from the apron, sending him face first to the floor. However, the distraction worked anyway and Kingston turned his back on Swagger. Swagger then delivered a low blow while the referee was dealing with those on the outside. He then turned Kingston around and planted him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb, taking the victory. The crowd boo as Swagger flees from ringside. The DiBiases look on in disappointment as Drew McIntyre escapes too, checking his mouth for blood. We then fade backstage. |
- The World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett are seen backstage to a lot of heat. Jericho speaks to Barrett, telling him they have a Tag Team match against Big Show and Chris Masters tonight on SmackDown. He tells Barrett he wants him to make sure that they get the victory tonight, so he can have momentum running into next week, and eventually WWE Fatal 4 Way. Barrett nods his head and tells Jericho he's got nothing to worry about. He says that tonight, they will win and get Jericho some real advantage going into his match. Suddenly, the lights begin to flicker in the locker room and both Jericho and Barrett look around. The crowd cheer but the lights go back to normal. Jericho chuckles to himself and shakes his head as the duo leave. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing on the 20th of June, 2010. We then return to SmackDown.
Shad Gaspard def. JTG | After the shocking events of last week when Shad turned on his former Cryme Tyme partner, JTG, this match was made. Shad was introduced with his second name tonight, calling himself Shad Gaspard. He came out in a brand new attire with new theme and all. He seemd ready to take out JTG, and that's exactly what he did. JTG did get some offence in, but overall, Shad dominated and eventually finished JTG off with a violent STO he now calls Shad Taking Over. He covers JTG for the victory. Afterwards he screams in JTG's face, saying "It's not Cryme Tyme, it's My Tyme!" He then leaves as we fade backstage. |
- Melina is backstage, seemingly preparing for action, which gets a pop from the crowd. The Women's Champion, Beth Phoenix walks in to a pop and smiles at Melina. She asks Melina if she's ready and Melina tells her she is always ready to show LayCool a thing or two. Phoenix pats Melina on the back and tells her she'll see her later as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a Raw recap, showing us John Cena's Raw investigation on who is behind the masks of his Masked Attackers. We then return to SmackDown.
Big Show & Chris Masters def. Chris Jericho & Wade Barrett | A brilliant first hour Main Event, and I bet Chris Masters was pleased with this position on the card. Masters and Wade Barrett got a lot of ring time in this match, Barrett getting most of the offence. We see a Commercial Break in this match. Big Show eventually became the legal man against Jericho, but barely got any offence in as Jericho quickly fled and tagged in Barrett. Jericho said he had had enough and grabbed his belt before walking off. Big Show used this opportunity to drill Wade Barrett with a Knockout Punch and then cover him for the victory. Big Show shook hands with Chris Masters as the two celebrated this victory. We then go backstage. |
- Theodore Long is backstage in his office when Shad Gaspard bursts in. Long asks him what he thinks he's doing. Gaspard asks him if he saw how he dominated JTG earlier on. Long reluctantly says yes. Gaspard then says that he is finished with JTG, and finished with SmackDown for that matter, he says he ants to be traded to Raw. Long tells him he can't just trade him to Raw like that, he says they need someone in return. Shad tells him to find someone to swap with as soon as possible, because he wants off of the 'B-Brand'. Gaspard leaves as Long shakes his head. We then see a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring SmackDown superstar, MVP. We then return to SmackDown.
- At ringside, we see CM Punk making his entrance along with Luke Gallows and Serena. They enter the ring and Punk begins to speak. He says that he's been told he must face MVP at WWE Fatal 4 Way yet again, and he isn't pleased. He says that he defeated MVP fair and square at WWE Over the Limit, and questions why he should have to face him again. He says that MVP is just one of the vermin this earth katers for. He brings up MVP's past, calling him 'filth' and 'scum'. Punk says that MVP is exactly what Straight Edge tries to cure. He points to Gallows and Serena, saying that they are better people than each adn every person in Florida at this moment. This gets a lot of heat. He says that MVP doesn't deserve a second chance at Fatal 4 Way, and definitely didn't deserve his second chance in life when he was released from prison. MVP comes out now, obviously angered at Punk's comments, he gets a huge pop from the crowd. He stands at the top of the ramp in a suit, obviously not scheduled to compete tonight. He tells Punk that he doesn't know him, so he has no right to be questioning his past. He says that at WWE Fatal 4 Way, the result won't be the same as Over the Limit, and he will come out victorious. Punk laughs and says that MVP would have to receive another miracle, like the one he had for his second chance, if he wants to beat him. MVP says that he will receive a miracle if that's the case, because there is no way he is losing to him in nine days. Punk tells MVP that he will take pride in putting him out for good, and shifting one more obstacle of the Straight Edge Society to the side. Punk's theme plays and MVP looks on in anger as we fade ro a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Trent Barreta w/ Caylen Croft def. Tyson Kidd w/ David Hart Smith & Natalya | This past Monday on Raw, The Hart Dynasty defeated their Fatal 4 Way opponents, The Dudebusters, but tonight, one from each team would compete in singles action. Tonight, the challengers got the upper hand in a pretty quick match when Barreta capitalized on some interference from Croft. Croft provoked David Hart Smith who went after him, but the referee left the ring to stop him from getting into a fight. Croft grabbed one of the Tag Title and threw it into the ring where Barreta used it to club Kidd over the skull with and then throw it out of the ring, covering him. The referee saw the pin and returned to the ring, counting it for the three. The Dudebusters escaped from ringside with huge smiles on their faces as Smith and Natalya checked on Kidd as we cut backstage. |
- Josh Mathews is backstage with Jeff Hardy to a huge pop. He asks Hardy if he is ready to be back in the World Heavyweight Championship scene. Hardy says that he is definitely ready, and is going to try his best when Fatal 4 Way arrives. Mathews then asks him what has been wrong with him lately, as he has been looking slightly depressed. Hardy tells him that it's nothing and is just some family matters, before walking off. Mathews shrugs his shoulders as we return to ringside.
Beth Phoenix & Melina def. Michelle McCool & Layla | A quick divas match, but it got straight to the point, giving Melina her in-ring return. Admittedly, she didn't look 100%, but she was definitely looking to compete. The match was back and forth, but Phoenix and Melina dominated near the ending. Phoenix made sure McCool didn't interfere while Melina dropped Layla with the Sunset Split for the victory. Melina and Phoenix celebrated in the ring as LayCool retreated up the ramp. We then fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to see Josh Mathews once again, this time, with Edge. He asks Edge if he is confident going into the World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Fatal 4 Way. He says he is and he has one goal, and that is to make sure that Chris Jericho doesn't walk out with the gold. Mathews says that Edge still has yet to get revenge on Jericho, and Edge says that's correct. He says that tonight, he and Jeff Hardy are going to show Chris Jericho exactly what they are capable of. He then apologizes to Hardy through the camera, saying that he is going to beat him and then win the World Heavyweight Championship at Fatal 4 Way. Edge turns to leave but walks right into the huge chest of the Big Show to a huge pop. Show simply says "I'll be watching" and smiles at Edge. Edge walks around him and leaves as we fade to ringside.
Jeff Hardy def. Edge | A brilliant Main Event, featuring two good friends, former enemies. They battled it out in a very respectful match full of great action. At one point, Edge ran to hit Hardy with a Spear, but Hardy turned it into a massive Twist of Fate, leaving both men on the mat. Eventually it was when Hardy threw Edge from the top turnbuckle and then hit him with a Swanton Bomb that finished him off for the three count. Afterwards, Hardy helped Edge to his feet and the two stared at each other before sharing a quick smirk. Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett appear on the stage area, Jericho sarcastically clapping at their match. Barrett was still holding his jaw from earlier, giving Jericho a few wierd looks for leaving him. SmackDown then fades to a close. |
