-Love that Swagger opened the show and really glad that he beat Kofi in the opener. Having the Dibiases and McIntyre get involved was good as well -Shad over JTG is solid, but hope JTG comes out on top if they have a rivalry -Surprised that Show and Masters won, but at least Jericho didn't get pinned -Loved the promo with Punk and MVP, you capture Punk very well -Baretta beating Kidd was a good choice, especially after the Dynasty beat the Dudebusters on Raw -Hardy saying he has family troubles should eventually lead to another Matt/Jeff feud -Beth & Melina winning in Melina's return is solid, and glad she got the pin -Jeff Hardy/Edge is always a fantastic main event, and Jeff winning is awesome as he needed it. Him being back in the main event scene where he belongs is great
Overall, a very good Smackdown

- Great to have the KOTR open up the show. - Very pleased you had Swagger go over Kingston here. - Right decision to have Shad win this one, better then JTG. - Odd tag team match to have, but glad Barrett took the fall. - Good promo from CM Punk and MVP, their rematch should be good. - Surprised to see Baretta defeat Kidd, to be honest. But Dudebusters are chill. - Beth and Melina getting the win is good for the face divas, especially with Melina back. - Lastly, obviously going to be a good main event here. A Jeff win is nice. Interesting aftermath.
Good Smackdown.

-Great opener to SmackDown. Happy to see Kofi challenge. -Swagger beating Kofi was the right way to go there. Both men would have an awesome feud. -Shad beating JTG was the right call too as Shad is very overpowering and could have a good run. JTG could team with R-Truth or something. They'd be nice. -Show and Masters beating Jericho and Barrett is alright. -Barretta beating Kidd is alright too. Hypes the Unified Tag Match perfectly. -Jeff beating Edge is great. Praying he takes the WHC Gold at FFW.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 11th June 2010...Shelton Benjamin beating Goldust seemed very likely, but here or there I'd like the new Oddities to have an occasional win for realistic purposes; plus Goldust hasn't passed his expiry date yet. MVP beating Zack Ryder wasn't a bad match, just hoping he appears on the actual edition of SmackDown this week, though. Good opening promo with Jack Swagger's King of the Ring coronation. Nice interruption from Kofi Kingston and I'm looking forward to their match. Swagger beating Kingston was for the best if you ask me, hoping that we see Swagger become the WWE Intercontinental Champion at Fatal 4 Way. Shad Gaspard overcoming JTG; meh, hopefully this doesn't become a big feud. In addition, I can't see either of these guys having a successful career and will probably be on the chopping block by 2011. Or Val Venis-ised. Big Show and Chris Masters is an interesting team; Masters still being relevent is great. Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett tried anyway. Solid open hour main event, hoping to see Barrett break away from Jericho soon, though; as mention in the past. The winner of the first NXT shouldn't be the lapdog of Jericho. CM Punk's promo was great, very nice with the Straight Edge Society forwarding the situation headed into Fatal 4 Way. Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta looking legitimate against their Fatal 4 Way WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, the Hart Dynasty seems good to me. Interesting decision for Barreta to beat Tyson Kidd. Beth Phoenix and Melina over Michelle McCool and Layla was the rightful decision to make, not bad. Lastly, solid main event with Jeff Hardy beating Edge. A decent show, everything is being built for Fatal 4 Way.

RAW: Love KOTR Raw's, I've read this already but I'm rooting for Morrison. MVP advancing is cool, I love this unstable state of Matt Hardy. Punk beating Mysterio was fine after his promo. HD beating The Dudebusters is fine on RAW, keeping the champs strong. Swagger advancing is great as is Morrison. We lost some good wrestlers in the first round though. Natalya beating April Lee is fine. Glad Morrison advanced over Punk brings back memories of their fued earlier in the year. Swagger advancing is great too. Swagger winning is sad but good, sad because Morrison would've been awesome but Morrison doesn't need something like this or MITB to become a main eventer. Loving the main event, especially Barrett in it, glad the heels won. Good RAW. enjoyable. NXT: Love NXT, I'd like to see someone unexpected to win. Good opening segment, with the rookies. Kaval beating Rotundo is good, not a fan of Duke. I like Lucky Cannon, I like him better with the name Johnny Prime. Maybe your could call him John 'Lucky' Cannon not just Lucky. I'm not a fan of Ryder jobbing to a rookie, should've been O'Neil. I like the Hennig/Kofi pairing, they should go far. Great tag team match to close the show, it would've been good either way. I'm expecting both rookies to go far. Nice premiere. SD!: Liked the opening promo, very realistic to Swagger and Kofi. Swagger proving himself as KOTR is a good choice, I like it especially with the distractions etc. Masters and Show's partner is weak if I'm honest. Loving Shad's heel turn, I hope you do it better than WWE did. The fcaes going over is fine but you really need to push Barrett. MVP and Punk's fued is going well. Glad Barretta got a win there, The Busters needed one. The face Divas winning is fine, Melina returning is also good. REALLY happy to see Hardy win in the main event, I'm counting on Jeff to win at the PPV , good show. I enjoyed it.

July 14th, 2010 - Charlotte, North Carolina; The Final Stop
Dolph Ziggler def. Mark Henry w/ Lucky Cannon Katie Lea Burchill w/ Paul Burchill def. Kelly Kelly
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
Cue Opening Package
- The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as the team of Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler welcome us to Monday Night Raw. They tell us that tonight is the final Raw show before WWE Fatal 4 Way, and therefore we will have two singles matches featuring the four WWE Championship competitors. John Cena will go head-to-head with Sheamus while our Main Event will be Randy Orton taking on the WWE Champion, Batista in non-title action. We then hear the theme of the United States Champion, Christian who is out for the opening contest.
Christian & Evan Bourne def. Paul Burchill & Vladimir Kozlov w/ Katie Lea Burchill | Not the best of openers, but really, this was only meant to build the United States Championship division and make sure Evan Bourne is seen as a threat. The match is mostly back and forth until the end when Christian dropped Vladimir Kozlov with the Killswitch and then tagged in Bourne who hit him with the Shooting Star Press for the victory. Kozlov and The Burchills left in disappointment as Christian and Evan Bourne shook hands. Christian didn't look at anything else as Bourne left the ring, understanding that Bourne is a real threat to his title. We then fade to a promo package. |
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring Raw superstar, John Cena. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see Bret Hart backstage in his office, only to be interrupted by The Miz and his NXT Rookie, Alex Riley to a lot of heat. Miz demands that he gets another match with Bryan Danielson after he cost him in the King of the Ring Tournament last week. Either that or he gets another Unified Tag Team CHampionship match against The Hart Dynasty. Hart says he can't do that as Danielson already has a match tonight and he gave the Dynasty the night off. Miz looks shocked, astonished at the fact that Danielson has a match and he doesn't. He tells Hart he doesn't know anything about talent and can't book a show to save his life. Hart tells him that speaking to him like that will get him nowhere. He then books The Miz in a match with Kane, and it's next. Miz and Riley storm out as Hart smiles. We then fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing this SUnday, the 20th of June, 2010. We then return to Raw.
Kane def. The Miz w/ Alex Riley | The Miz hasn't been having the best of times in the past few months, losing the majority of his matches, losing his Championships and been humiliated by Bret Hart. Tonight was no different as Kane demolished the self-proclaimed 'Awesome One', finishing him off with a devastating Chokeslam for the victory. Afterwards, Kane left as Alex Riley checked on his Pro. The Miz gets up and looks as if he's about to cry, exclaiming that he doesn't deserve this humiliation, but the WWE Universe show no sympathy as we fade backstage. |
- We see John Cena arriving at the arena tonight to a massive pop, still looking extremely serious. He reaches his locker room to find a note pinned to his door. He rips it off and reads it before looking extremely angry. He then throws it on the floor and bursts into his locker room as the camera tilts down. The note reads "Guess who?". The crowd are confused as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Maryse & April Lee def. Natalya & Gail Kim | Just six days away from WWE Fatal 4 Way, Divas Champion, Natalya and Maryse compete in the same match, but in tag team action. The match is pretty short and mostly features April Lee taking on Gail Kim. However, Natalya gets involved and goes for Maryse on the apron, but Maryse jumps off, wanting nothing to do with the Divas Champion. This distraction allows April Lee to drill Natalya with a huge Shining Wizard and cover her for the victory before Gail Kim could enter in time. April Lee just scored a massive upset, pinning the Divas Champion. Gail Kim helps Natalya to her feet as we fade backstage. |
- Josh Mathews is backstage with Sheamus to a lot of heat. He asks Sheamus if he knows anything about the recent attacks on John Cena. Sheamus says he has nothing to hide and can safely say he has nothing to do with these Masked Invaders. He says that he has defeated John Cena before, fair and square, so why would he have to hide behind a mask to take him out. He says he took Triple H out face to face, and he plans on taking anyone out who tries to get in his way of the WWE Championship. He leaves and we fade to ringside.
John Cena def. Sheamus via Disqualification | This was a great first hour Main Event, and we know these two can work well together. They battled with all they had, giving everything, hoping to have one last bit of an upper hand running into this Sunday's event. At one point, Sheamus drilled Cena with a Pump Kick, but Cena somehow managed to kick out. We also have a Commercial Break within this match. We return to se John Cena in control and looking to put Sheamus away with an Attitude Adjustment, sizing him up. However, before Sheamus gets to his feet, the Masked Attackers arrive and clock Cena with lead pipes, taking him down and forcing the referee to ring the bell. |
- The beat down continues even after the bell. The smaller of the two Masked Men punches the referee and throws him out of the ring. Sheamus gets up to see the attack and even looks like he is contemplating stopping it, but instead he quickly leaves the ring and walks up the ramp without turning his back. The Masked Men continue the attack on Cena, clubbing him with the pipes and stomping down on him. The WWE Universe are relieved to hear the theme of Bret Hart, which startles the Masked Men. Hart comes out and demands that the two Masked Men stop now, but they continue the attack. Hart says he thought they'd do that and shouts "Come on, boys!". R-Truth and Mark Henry rush to the ring to help John Cena, but the Masked Men flee and leave through the crowd before Truth and Henry reach ringside. They help Cena to his feet, but he falls straight back down, looking really hurt, They assist him up the ramp as we fade backstage.
- We see Sheamus walking backstage shaking his head. He bumps into Randy Orton to a huge pop. Orton instantly questions Sheamus, asking him why he did nothing to stop the attack on John Cena. SHeamus says he wanted no part of it, adn didn't want to risk getting himself involved. Orton calls him a coward, saying he could have easily fought off the Masked Men and helped Cena, that way he would have earned some respect. Sheamus says he doesn't need anyone's respect because he is the Cletic Warrior, and he is better than everybody else. Orton tells him to watch his back, because at Fatal 4 Way, he is going to be his first target to Punt his head from his shoulders. The crowd go wild as Orton walks off. We then fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package showing a recap of last week's Raw, showcasing Jack Swagger's King of the Ring victory. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
William Regal w/ Ezekiel Jackson def. Bryan Danielson | A rather quick match here, but got the point across as the Danielson/Miz feud was still ongiong. Mid-match, The Miz came out with his Rookie, Alex Riley, shouting that Riley was better than Danielson and that Danielson is nothing without him. This distraction is enough to allow Regal to catch Danielson when he turned around with a huge Knee Trembler, finishing him off. Regal and Jackson left as Danielson was laid out on the mat. The Miz sarcastically claps as Danielson gets to his feet in anger. We then fade backstage. |
- We see Matt Hardy alongside Josh Mathews to some heat. Mathews asks Hardy if he is upset about his King of the Ring loss last week. Hardy says of course he is upset and says he should have been King of the Ring last week, but instead, it was Jack Swagger. He says that John Morrison shouldn't have been in the final two because he doesn't deserve anything, just like Hardy's brother Jeff. Hardy then lays out a challenge. He challenges John Morrison to a match this Sunday at WWE Fatal 4 Way to prove that he is better than him. Hardy says "If you don't accept, it will prove to me that just like Jeff, you're a cowa-". Hardy is cut off as John Morrison leaps onto the scene and tackles Hardy to the floor. The two begin brawling as security attempt to stop it. They manage to peel Morrison away from Hardy, but as he is been dragged away, he says "You're on, Matt! See you this Sunday!". We then fade to a promo package.
- We see another promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing this Sunday. It focuses on the WWE Championship Fatal 4 Way match featuring Randy Orton, John Cena, Sheamus and the WWE Champion, Batista. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Non-Title - Randy Orton def. Batista | A fantastic way to close this edition of Raw with two superstars who can't even stand the sight of each other. They battled it out, hoping to look their best going into the title match, and it was clear that Batista wanted to finish this as quickly as possible, not wanting to waste much energy. He went for a cover at every possible moment, but it still didn't help him in the long run. The ending of the match came when Batista lifted Orton up for the Batista Bomb and it was looking bad for Orton, but Orton slipped down the back and spun Batista around for a huge RKO before covering him for the victory. Randy Orton celebrated the victory over the WWE Champion by grabbing the title belt and holding it high over Batista. However, not for long... |
- Out of nowhere, Sheamus jumps into the ring and drills Orton with a Pump Kick, taking him out. Sheamus then grabs the WWE Championship and holds it high to close the show with a smirk on his face. Monday Night Raw then fades to a close as the WWE Universe boo.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS June 14th, 2010 - Rob Van Dam is been advertised for Monday Night Raw appearences following SummerSlam. As reported on the website a while back, he will be debuting following SummerSlam where he is set to have a storyline waiting for him. Possible feuds brought up are with Ezekiel Jackson, Sheamus and even Chris Jericho, but with Jericho on SmackDown, that is unlikely.
- Triple H is set to return to Raw soon. Apparently he is capable of wrestling now after resting his nagging injuries for a month. Expect his feud with Sheamus to continue when he returns, finally ending at SummerSlam.
- It should be noted that Rey Mysterio did not appear at this Monday's Raw event. He has also been removed from House Show bookings in the near future. Sources suggest his knee injuries have become worse and he cannot compete much, and so will be used sparingly, if at all. It is expected that he will run out the twelve remaining weeks on WWE NXT, simply as KAval's Pro and not as an active competitor.

- Like you said, not the best of openers, but glad Christian/Bourne won. - Miz and Bret continuing to hate at each other is great to see. - Kane winning is meh to me, would like to see Miz do better. - Maryse and April getting the win on the faces is fine by me. - The masked men once again! Hopefully Cena reveals them soon. - Regal and Danielson is nice. Miz costing Danielson continues their feud, so that's good. - Matt Hardy vs John Morrison shall be a good one. Love Hardy being so mad about Jeff. - Good main event to have, and Sheamus causing the DQ in it is good to add to the F4W hype.
Good Raw.

WWE RAW: Monday 14th June 2010...Dolph Ziggler beating Mark Henry would have been impressive to see, but perhaps doable considering that Ziggler has the sleeper hold. Katie Lea Burchill beating Kelly Kelly was good, not sure what good Paul Burchill is being at ringside, though. Also, a date error; you're in June, buddy. Not July. Fair opening contest, but a promo really should have started; a match involving Paul Burchill and Vladimir Kozlov is a dire way to start off the primary program of the week. It got Christian and Evan Bourne over, anyway. Bret Hart's segment was nice, hell that would have been appropriate to open the show. Nice idea for Kane to take on The Miz, and again that would have been the best idea for an opening contest. Kane beating Miz is fine; not that bad but Miz really needs to climb the card, perhaps. Maryse and April Lee overcoming Natalya and Gail Kim is acceptable, I suppose. Nothing special. Next, great first-hour main event with John Cena beating Sheamus and the Masked Men attacking yet again was intriguing. I want to know when these guys are to be revealed. Nice run in by R-Truth and Mark Henry; random combination and all. William Regal and Bryan Danielson at least having a quick match is better than nothing. Regal winning is good; not bad. Matt Hardy's segment was pretty nice. Randy Orton and Batista made a solid main event; great close to the show. A great show this week but some iffy booking errors. But all is good headed for Fatal 4 Way.

June 15th, 2010 - Raleigh, North Carolina; Week Two Commences
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
Cue Opening Package
- The pyrotechnics explode as the North Carolina crowd cheer fo week two of WWE NXT. Josh Mathews and Michael Cole are by ringside and welcome us to the show. They reveal that this is the second week of Season Two of WWE NXT, and tonight, the Rookies get yet another taste of WWE life. They then send us to Matt Striker who is backstage with all eight Rookies.
- Matt Striker says hello and then tells us that tonight, we will once again see the NXT Rookies in action. He asks Alex Riley what he thought of his NXT debut last week. He says that he has always deserved the Main Event spot, and last week he showed us why. Striker then asks Lucky Cannon if he is ready to debut tonight. Cannon tells us all that he is ready to compete with his Pro Mark Henry and defeat Titus O'Neil and Zack Ryder. He then leaves and we see Titus O'Neil follow as Matt Striker brings us back to ringside.
Titus O'Neil & Zack Ryder def. Lucky Cannon & Mark Henry | Last week, Zack Ryder became the first NXT Pro to lose to an NXT Rookie when he was defeated by Eli Cottonwood. Ryder was looking to regain a victory here tonight with his Rookie, O'Neil whom was debuting tonight in this tag team match. Ryder and O'Neil pulled off the victory when O'Neil dropped Lucky Cannon with a huge Powerbomb to pick up the victory for himself and Ryder. Atferwards, Ryder jumped around in celebration as if he had won the match, while O'Neil looked on. Ryder took all the spotlight and then left ringside as O'Neil shook his head. Mark Henry helped Lucky Cannon to his feet and we see him say "Never mind, kid" as we fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to see all eight WWE Pros sat in their seats on the stage, along with Matt Striker. He asks Kofi Kingston if he has seen any outstanding talent so far. Kingston says he thinks that all the Rookies are talented this Season. He says that Kaval definitely stands out as a possible winner. Rey Mysterio nods who is sat next to Kingston. Striker asks Mysterio what he thinks of those kind wors. Mysterio thanks Kingston and says he was going to say the same about Kingston's Rookie, Joe Hennig. The Miz rudely interruptes, saying "Aww, how sweet. How about we cut the nice business and get down to reality, huh? Alex Riley is Mr. NXT, he is the future and will be the WWE's next breakout star, whoever he has to beat". Striker tells The Miz that he wasn't quite ready to speak to him yet, and Miz doesn't take too kindly to that. He tells Striker to watch his mouth because he is talking to the Pro of the NXT Season Two winner. Striker quickly ends the segment as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing this Sunday night. We then return to NXT.
Joe Hennig w/ Kofi Kingston def. Cody Rhodes w/ Duke Rotundo | A rather ironic match here, both sons of WWE Hall of Famers, but both at opposite ends of the spectrum. Cody Rhodes been the Pro, Joe Hennig been the Rookie. They went back and forth for a while and in the end Cody Rhodes cost himself the match really when he turned his attention to Kofi Kingston on the outside, bragging. Hennig spun Rhodes around and planted him with the Hennig Plex for the victory. Hennig and Kingston celebrated as Rhodes and Rotundo left in disappointment. Rhodes storms off without Rotundo, leaving him behind. We then fade to a Rookie package. |
- We see a package promoting NXT Rookie, Kaval. It shows his martial arts background and mentions him wrestling around the world until finally arriving at the WWE. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see Matt Striker once again on the stage. He speaks to MVP and asks him if he is pleased with his Rookie, Percy Watson. He tells us that Watson is a fantastic character, and he is very happy to have him as his Rookie. He says that tonight, Watson is going up against Alex Riley, and he is going to show the WWE Universe why he is the next breakout star. We see The Miz chuckle in the background as the Rookies make their entrances.
Percy Watson w/ MVP def. Alex Riley w/ The Miz | After his tag team victory last week, Riley was ready to pick up his second NXT victory over the debuting Percy Watson. However, Watson provided us with an variety of techniques which allowed him to put Riley away. With MVP cheering him on by ringside. Watson battled back and forth with Riley. It was looking in Riley's favour for the most part, but a sudden outburst of energy from Watson gave him the opening he needed and he hit Riley with the Float-Over DDT for the victory. MVP celebrated with Watson as The Miz laid his head on the apron in disappointment. Riley rolls out of the ring and instantly apologises to The Miz, saying it won't happen again. Miz and Riley leave as MVP raises Watson's hand. The two stand tall as NXT fades to a close. |

- O'Neal and Ryder getting the win as good, as Henry seems like a poor pro. - Haha, good segment from the Pro's being asked questions. - Hennig vs Rhodes on NXT!? I believe that should of main evented if you ask me, but Hennig winning is nice. - Watson defeating Riley surprises me to be honest. However, with Riley and Miz's reaction sounds like Riley will uproar.
Good NXT.

RAW: Glad the faces won, happily surprised to still see Burchil in the WWE. Bourne vs. Christian would be good. I liked Miz's mouth getting him in trouble again. Kane winning is fine, I like it. April Lee pinning Natalya is great and it puts her in line for a title shot. I liked Sheamus' interview because I love the mystery around this angle. Glad this match was DQ as a loss could've hurt either man and this Masked Man angle is awesome. Truth and Henry, that's kinda weak but it'll work. I liked Orton and Sheamus' confrontation. Regal vs. Dnaielson is class. Glad William won with the distraction. The Hardy/Morrison segment was great, I can't wait for the match. It's good for Orton to go over Batista ahead of Fatal Four Way. Sheamus' is looking strong now and It was a good decision after his segment with Orton. Good Show. NXT: Wish you would've changed Lucky Cannon to Johnny Prime or as I may have said (not sure) had John or Jason 'Lucky' Cannon. Ryder and O'Neil winning is fine. Riley isn't mister NXT, Otunga is mister NXT . Hennig beating Rhodes is fine with the distraction but not any other way. Riley should've won here although I love Watson's finisher. It's all good though as Riley already has a victory. Good NXT.

WWE NXT: Tuesday 15th June 2010...Nice start to the show with Matt Striker, our Host introducing us to the show. I'm looking forward to what we have lined up for us on what is really a very average week as shown in both seasons of NXT. Titus O'Neil and Zack Ryder getting the win against Lucky Cannon and Mark Henry is fine; happy to see O'Neil and Ryder with the win. I can see Lucky getting close to winning NXT, to be honest. He has the look, definitely. Striker's promo was nice with him questioning the Pros about their Rooies. The Miz again stealing the show of the Pros with his big yap about Alex Riley. I love it. Joe Hennig beating Cody Rhodes; very awesome, very ironic. Potentially a main event worthy win for Hennig here. Very good. Lastly, great win for Percy Watson to even the score with Alex Riley. Both of these men will either win or come close to winning NXT. I love both men and have higher expectations of them than anybody else on the show, honestly. A great show as a whole, I am so hyped for NXT Season Two; it's so much more unpredictable, more tough to decide a final winner than in Season One.

June 18th, 2010 - Raleigh, North Carolina; It's Not Over!
Shad Gaspard & Shelton Benjamin def. JTG & Yoshi Tatsu Caylen Croft w/ Trent Barreta def. David Hart Smith w/ Tyson Kidd & Natalya
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
Cue Opening Package
- Pyrotechnics explode from the stage as the North Carolina crowd go wild. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to this jam-packed edition of Friday Night SmackDown, reminding us that this Sunday will be the WWE Fatal 4 Way Pay Per View. They run down some of the matches, mentioning the Intercontinental Championship match where Champion, Drew McIntyre will defend his title against Ted DiBiase, Mr. Money in the Bank, Kofi Kingston and the 2010 King of the Ring, Jack Swagger. Also mentioning CM Punk versus MVP in a rematch from WWE Over the Limit and finally the World Heavyweight Championship match where Champion, Chris Jericho will defend against the Big Show, Jeff Hardy and Edge. We then hear the theme of the World Heavyweight Champion himself, Chris Jericho. He comes out to a lot of heat, entering the ring with his protoge, Wade Barrett and speaking to the WWE Universe.
- Jericho says that WWE Fatal 4 Way will be a walk in the park for him, and he will undoubtedly walk out as the World Heavyweight Champion. He mentions how he and Wade Barrett took out The Undertaker at WWE Extreme Rules, how he won the 2010 Royal Rumble and how he succesfully defend his Championship against Edge at WWE Over the Limit. He says that he is the best in the world at what he does and nobody is going to change that. Suddenly, he is interrupted by the theme of SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long. Jericho asks him what he wants, and Long tells him that he wished to inform him that he will be competing tonight. Jericho goes mad, saying he is days away from his World Title defence, and shouldn't have to compete. Long tells him that as World Champion, he is meant to compete week in and week out, so he has been extremely lucky to get the time off he has in the past. Long tells Jericho and the WWE Universe that tonight's Main Event will be Chris Jericho versus Jeff Hardy in a non-title match. Jericho goes ballistic, saying competing was pushing it, but against one of his Contenders is ridiculous. Long simply smirks and wishes him luck before leaving as the crowd cheer. Before he actually leaves though, he turns back and says he forgot to mention that Wade Barrett will also be in action... next! Again... Edge! The crowd erupt as we then fade to a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring SmackDown superstar, Kofi Kingston. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Wade Barrett w/ Chris Jericho def. Edge | Edge came out to a gigantic pop and was clearly ready to defeat Barrett and send a message to Jericho before Sunday. It was definitely looking in Edge's favour as he was definitely concentrating on the match, showing his focus for this Sunday's title match. Edge was about to deliver a huge Spear to Barrett, but Jericho holds up his World Heavyweight Championship and started screaming "You're not having this, Edge! It's mine for good!" Edge turns his attention to Jericho long enough for Barrett to get to his feet, spin Edge around, lift him onto his shoulders and plant him with the Fireman's Carry Slam which we now know he calls The Wasteland. Barrett flees along with Jericho as Edge gets up. He shouts through the ropes, saying that Jericho won't be smiling for long. Barrett and Jericho leave with smirks on their faces as we fade backstage. |
- Josh Mathews is backstage with the Big Show to a pop. Mathews asks him if he is ready to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday. Show tells him he was always ready to challenge for the Championship, but when he was teaming with The Miz, and Jericho himself, he was geld back from doing so. He says that all it's going to take is his right hand and it'll be over this Sunday. He says he doesn't care who he pins, but he is walking out as the World Heavyweight Champion. Big Show then leaves as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Fatal 4 Way, airing this Sunday. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see Carlito, Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes in the ring. Ryder has a microphone and he speaks to the WWE Universe. Ryder says that for weeks since been drafted to SmackDown, he, Carlito and Rosa have been mistreat. He reminds us of his battles with Goldust and Hornswoggle, saying it was SmackDown's way of humiliating him. He says he has had enough of it, and he's changing things right now. Carlito then speaks, telling us he has competed on WWE Superstars week in and week out, not once getting the chance to shine on SmackDown, and he is sick of been misplaced. He says he should be the World Heavyweight Champion after all the stuff he has gone through in the past, and he deserves better than a Thursday night rip-off show. Rosa Mendes gets on the microphone next and starts screaming and shouting in Spanish. Ryder and Carlito eventually have to calm her down and take her microphone away. Ryder says that tonight, they are making a statement, and from now on, they are making an impact on SmackDown. We then see the entrance of two Local Competitors who enter the ring and a match kicks off.
Carlito & Zack Ryder w/ Rosa Mendes def. Two Local Competitors | A quick sqaush match really, obviously to put across the point that Carlito and Zack Ryder were making. Both men got offence in on their opponents until Carlito finally finished one of them off with a Backstabber for the victory. Carlito, Ryder and Rosa celebrate as SmackDown fades backstage. |
- Jack Swagger is in the office of Theodore Long. He says that he understands he doesn't have a match tonight, but demands that his throne be placed by ringside when Drew McIntyre faces Ted DiBiase next. Long tries to say that Swagger may be taking the King of the Ring stuff a bit too seriously, but Swagger tells him to shut up and speak when spoken too. He says that he is the first ever All-American American King of the Ring, and deserves a ton of respect. Swagger is interrupted by Mr. Money in the Bank, Kofi Kingston to a huge pop. Swagger asks Kofi what he wants, and says he is surprised he dare show his face after his loss last week. Kingston tells Swagger that a loss is a loss, but that doesn't mean he doesn't come bouncing back. He reminds Jack Swagger exactly who is holding the Money in the Bank briefcase and who has a World Heavyweight Championship match whenever he wants. Swagger says he has a World Championship shot too at whatever PPV he wants. Kingston says he hopes they meet in singles action again soon because he is dying to smack that lisp right out of his mouth. The crowd laugh and cheer as Swagger looks on in shock. Even Long chuckles a bit. Swagger storms out as we fade to ringside.
Non-Title - Ted DiBiase w/ Brett DiBiase def. Drew McIntyre | Two men in the Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4 Way match this Sunday, McIntyre been the Champion. This match went back and forth for the most part, DiBiase showing he was a true threat in this match. McIntyre thought he had everything covered at one stage and started slapping DiBiase around. He occasionally told the WWE Universe to see exactly why he is 'The Chosen One', but his cockiness cost him as DiBiase came back with a vengeance and locked in the Million Dollar Dream before dropping McIntyre with Dream Street for a shocking upset victory. The DiBiases celebrate the win as we fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to see backstage where CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena are in their locker room facing the camera. Punk is sat on a chair while Gallows and Serena stand behind him, one hand on either shoulder of Punk. Punk says that this Sunday, he will face MVP for the second time at a PPV, and once again he will defeat him, wiping the floor with him like the scum he is. He says that MVP represents the majority of the WWE Universe, with a clouded judgement and no way of telling the difference between right and wrong. Punk says he is the light at the end of the tunnel, he is the guiding light of those who need help. He says that this Sunday at WWE Fatal 4 Way, he will rid the world of one more uncureable being in the form of MVP and become one step closer to cleansing the WWE Universe. The Straight Edge Society leave as we fade to ringside.
Luke Gallows w/ CM Punk & Serena def. MVP | MVP had a chance to shut up one of the Straight Edge Society members tonight, taking on Luke Gallows in singles action, just days before his match with CM Punk. He battled with Gallows to the end, wanting to get this victory in order to show Punk what he's capable of, but the devious plot of CM Punk distracted MVP as he told Serena to jump onto the apron. The referee gets caught up and CM Punk throws some sort of powder into the eyes of MVP. The crowd gasp as MVP spins around, blinded by the substance, allowing Luke Gallows to lock him up and plant him with the Gallow's Pole. Luke Gallows leaves with Punk and Serena as the referee checks on MVP. He is confused as to where the powder came from. |
- In what was made to look like a serious segment, medics rush into the ring and douse MVP's face with water in an attempt to clear the substance from his eyes. MVP looks severly hurt by it and continues to rub his eyes and scream in pain. We see CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena backing up the ramp with sadistic smirks on their faces. We then fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE The Bash, airing on the 18th of July, 2010. We then return to SmackDown.
- We return to be shown Todd Grisham and Matt Striker at the announce desk. They tells us that they are shocked as to what just happened and have received word that whatever the substance which CM Punk threw at MVP was, it has entered MVP's eyes and has caused severe pain, possible even impaired vision. They contemplate whether MVP will be able to compete this Sunday or not, and promise to update us with anything if they receive more information.
Michelle McCool w/ Layla def. Tiffany | A quick match to put over Michelle McCool here. She pretty much destroyed Tiffany before finishing her off with the Faithbreaker for the victory. Afterwards, McCool and Layla continue the attack, making sure Tiffany knew who was the dominant diva. However, Melina and Women's Champion, Beth Phoenix make the save, chasing LayCool out of the ring and tending to Tiffany. LayCool smirk as they have already done the damage as we fade to a promo package. |
- We see a promo package for this Tuesday's WWE NXT, advertising that the Abraham Washington Show will arrive, with Special Guest, NXT Season One Rookie, Bryan Danielson. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see Jeff Hardy preparing for his match up next with World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho to a huge pop. There is a knock on the door and Hardy shouts "Come in!". In walks Edge to a massive pop. Jeff Hardy stops preparing and stands up, face to face with Edge. Edge says he enjoyed their match last week, and congratulates Hardy on his win. He says he knows they have had their differences in the past, but now he considers Hardy a friend and wants to come and say let the best man win at WWE Fatal 4 Way, as long as it is between them two. Hardy agrees and the two shake hands. Hardy says that the World Heavyweight Championship has been something he has desired for years now, but has never got a proper chance to hold the belt without it being ruined within a month. He says that he respects Edge and wishes him all the best in this Sunday's match. Edge nods and then turns to leave, but before he leaves through the door, he says "I will win though, Jeff, makr my words". Hardy chuckles as Edge leaves and we fade to ringside.
Non-Title - Chris Jericho w/ Wade Barrett def. Jeff Hardy | A brilliant Main Event here featuring the World Champion and just one of his Fatal 4 Way opponents. The two battled back and forth, both looking to make an impact running into this Sunday's Pay Per View, but obviously, only one man can win. At one point, Jericho looks like he has it, locking in the Walls of Jericho on Hardy, but Hardy reaches the ropes and breaks the hold. Hardy hits a Twist of Fate on Jericho and goes for a Swanton Bomb, but Wade Barrett jumps onto the apron and grabs his legs. The referee tells Barrett to get down ebfore he disqualifies Jericho, but the damage had already been done as Jericho catapulted himself onto the middle rope and then fell backwards, hitting Jeff Hardy with a top rope Codebreaker for the victory. Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett stand tall inside the ring, Jericho holding his World Heavyweight Championship high. But not for long... |
- Big Show's theme hits and he comes out looking pretty serious. He enters the ring and grabs both Jericho and Barrett by the throat. Jericho manages to escape, but Barrett gets planted with a Chokeslam. Jericho thinks he has escaped up the ramp, but suddenl,y Edge rushes out and throws Jericho back into the ring where he receives a Knockout Punch from the Big Show. Big Show and Edge come face to face as SmackDown closes with Chris Jericho, Wade Barrett and Jeff Hardy out cold below them. SmackDown then fades to a close.

Wrestling Observer News June 19th, 2010 - As seen on SmackDown, MVP's 'injury' is most definitely kayfabe. Apparently, the storyline will be further developed this Sunday at WWE Fatal 4 Way. Anyone worrying for MVP's health, no need, we can report he is completely fine, and his injury is solely for storyline purposes.
- We reported a while back that there is a possiblity for Jack Swagger to feud with The Undertaker. We can report that this is likely to be false as Jack Swagger is said to be shot into the World Championship picture soon. The Undertaker is most likely to enter a feud with NXT Season One Winner, Wade Barrett, which ties in with the happening of WWE Extreme Rules where he helped to take Undertaker out with Chris Jericho. More on this soon.
- Abraham Washington will return to TV this upcoming Tuesday when the Abraham Washington Show goes to WWE NXT with Guest, Raw's Bryan Danielson. Expect his feud with The Miz to be brought up on the night.

-Jericho and Barrett put on a good opener. Like Teddy coming to announce the their matches tonight. -Barrett beating Edge is decent. It's fine either way. -Carlito and Ryder should make a good tandem. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. -Ted beating McIntyre is fine. Love Ted's push. -Gallows beating MVP is good. Hope M.V.P's push doesn't collapse. -Jericho beating Hardy was predictable. Wanted Hardy to win but hope this leads to him winning the WHC this Sunday. -Good SmackDown

WWE SmackDown: Friday 18th June 2010...Shad Gaspard and Shelton Benjamin actually doesn't sound like a bad idea for a team. They both have similar gimmicks, to be honest. JTG and Yoshi Tatsu are also alike, but the right side won here. Caylen Croft beating David Hart Smith advances things headed into Fatal 4 Way this Sunday, but I can assume that we will see Trent Barreta and Tyson Kidd in action on SmackDown. Moving onto the main show, good opening promo to start up reminding us of Chris Jericho's dominance as World Heavyweight Champion to this point from Extreme Rules. Looking forward to the main event fatal four-way bout for this Sunday from SmackDown, but also tonight is looking stacked. Wade Barrett overcoming Edge is a massive surprise, but I am glad to see Barrett win despite interference from Chris Jericho. Ahah! You've gone for the Zack Ryder and Carlito tag team that I used. I like it, especially since it's a DTP original. Nice win for them against these two Local Competitors. Could be an interesting trio in the near future. Jack Swagger's conflict with Kofi Kingston got me interested in what could happen with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Ted Dibiase overcoming Drew McIntyre certainly surprised me, but fine decision there. CM Punk and MVP is unfortuntely booked as one of the least important bouts on the card this Sunday, but hopefully they can advance following this feud. Luke Gallows with a win over MVP is a surprise, but acceptable with Punk's interference. I just feel that MVP could have used this win. Michelle McCool beating Tiffany was likely; not a bad decision. Edge and Jeff Hardy's segment was quite interesting, looking forward to Sunday even more. Chris Jericho beating Jeff was for the best, very good decision and a good show overall with Big Show involved at the end. All good setups for Fatal 4 Way. Surprised by the lack of WWE Unified Tag Team Championships build, however.

-Great opening promo, love that Jericho has dominated 2010 so far and the main event should be great -Shocked that Barrett beat Edge, but not sure it should've happened before the PPV where Edge will be in the Title match -Show's promo was well done -Like that you gave Ryder & Carlito microphone time and them winning should kick start their rise to the Unified Tag Titles hopefully -The Kofi/Swagger backstage stuff was good -Ted over McIntyre was fine, don't like heel/heel though -SES promo was good and surprised Gallows went over MVP, although having the blinding substance be involved keeps MVP looking strong -Wow, MVP might not be able to compete, interesting stuff -McCool winning was the right call -Top rope Codebreaker!!! Love it and glad Jericho won
Great Smackdown, the best in weeks.
