i got it and plan on doing a torso swap with another fig so hes got all tats. i will post some head shots when i get him all fixed up

yeah i am an avid Rey collector and it took a lot to actually buy this figure. I mean it costs more than en eliete figure and it is missing so much detail (only in tatts, arm ones) but the basic series 2 and EG have all his tatts. I dont get it

Did anyone think about the fact that 1) the included soft goods mask in these sets are very expensive for Mattel to produce, thus some of the paint deco missing on the "tats" would help off-set the costs and 2) the mask set isn't being marketed to an avid collector looking for superior details. That set is clearly for a child, and I am sure that they are not gonna say "this figure sucks" because of missing tattoos.

The figure doesn't suck and I almost bought it a few times, but opted not too because of missing tats and attire detail (like the lining around the "619" on his pants). I haven't found the Elite figure, but I just want a Mattel Rey and i'm not sure I wanna pay 16 for him. I may get the Basic #2 Rey which looks amazing.
