Some scans are good and some are bad, similar to JAKKS. The Morrison scan bites hard, but look at Orton's scan ... to me, the Mattel Orton scan is better than any Orton scan JAKKS ever came up with.

Obviously, the head sculpts will improve as they continue to produce them. There are some right now that aren't too great, but but I think they're off to a very good start. Some of the head sculpts we already have are far and away better than anything Jakks produced(Santino, Punk, MVP, for instance). 70% of Jakks scans are still better than Mattel. and they say that like 99% of statistics are made up on the spot, this thoroughly thought statement pandagirl came up with here proves exactly that. |

I would take Mattels attention to detail, attention to scale, abundance of different product, superior quality, and overall presentation over anything that Jakks produced in the RA/DA era. Are some of the Mattel headsculpts a little suspect? Sure. But the overall product and line is far superior to Jakks. And whoever said that Jakks had "70% better head sculpts" can you please tell us what kind of  ed up math you used to come up with that? Are you looking for a tag-team partner? |

Mattels Legacy, Orton, Beth, Santino Jericho, Bourne and Kofi all put jakks counterparts to shame. Granted some of Mattels are pretty haggard, Morrison or Kozlov for example, but I don't think Jakks was WAY better then them as some are saying. I have to disagree with you on the Jericho. His scan is so weak with no facial expression. I am very impressed with the Santino though. |

Aww yes its the great debate over the Jakks vs Mattel who has better head scans. Our children and their children will be talking about this for years to come.
