I see everyone has their worries well lets compile them:
1. No championship belts. I have a feeling all the focus is going on the figures and not accessories. I don't want to have to buy a crappy flex force figure for $14.99 when all I want are the weapons that come with it!
2. The PG syndrome. I don't want to see 3,0000 John Cenas!!!! Or Reys!!!! They said they weren't going to do it in a interview but yeah they totally are!
3. No classic Super stars! I wouldn't mind them rereleasing a handful of people like Ultimate Warrior or Rob Van Dam in mattel format. Screw entrance greats give me my classic super stars.
4. Long wait for new talent. We need a Sheamus now!!! He is the champion and the face of the company. I felt that Jakks was pretty good at getting us new talent.
5. No real scale ring! I just bought a new real scale ring because I think Mattel wants to focus more on kids then collectors.
That's about it for me I want to hear all of yours! Lets make mattel sweat a little.

I don't think we need a complaint thread.
But I will play along...I am worried that this thread sticks around.

I agree with the accesories. For $10 a figure, It would be nice to have something to go along with the figure. Shouldn't have to buy the elite series to get an accesorie. Not a big fan of the elite style figures and $5 more a figure just for an accesorie isn't worth it. 2. As for the repaints and rereleases of Cena's and Rey's, I personally do not have a problem with it. Let's face it, those are the guys that sell. However, they can still have those guys in every set and still get us new talent too. 3. I can live without the classic superstars figures for now. Let's hope mattel can focus on the current roster for now and get us a figure of everyone on it before they start in with a classic line.

Are you being serious with this thread? This is absolutely ridiculous. The line has been officially out for 3 weeks! Sheamus is the face of the company? LOL Now I know you you've gone off the deep end. Jakks had time to put out a Sheamus. It also took Jakks 2 years after the introduction of the RA body to give us a real scale ring. I feel kind of stupid for even responding to this thread because I think it might be a joke.

Are you serious? Jakks gave us a Cena in almost every RA series! Mattel is not even close to giving us that many Cenas. Many diffrent Superstars have been announced in Basics,2 packs & Elite. I say PPV 3 or 4 will be Royal Rumble 2010 and we will have Sheamus. As far as weapons go Jakks ones work great, and if you dont have any Jakks weapons ebay has lots for cheap. I dont really want a Legends line because i think signing past stars will drive the price to $20 a figure. Somebody quote me, Mattel WWE Legends will cost $15-$20 for a Basic style figure with 1 accessory.

I think that some of the worries are legit.
We had to wait until 01/01/10 to find the new figures in stores, but they obviously planned and started their production long before that time.
Why didn't they plan on putting a World or WWE title in at least one figure from the first or second batch of figures? Jakks would insert a title belt with people that never even had a belt. I remember a Regal with a world title belt. For as long as Cena and Undertaker have held belts, they should have put one with them. The 1/1000 belt is a nice concept but isnt a "real" belt.
I also agree with the issues about accessories. I dont even want any, but my son does. Neither of us wanted to collect the Flex Force figures, but I bought him the Matt Hardy just to get a Table and a Ladder.
The repaint issue still bothers me a little. I mentioned Cena and Rey in my original post, but look at the Flex Force figures for more examples. They made a single release of Undertaker and CM Punk along with a release of each with accessories. The figures are actually different. The ones with the weapons do not include the tattoos for each. The single packs have the arm tattoos. Why not release NEW figures with the accessories like the Matt Hardy and keep down the number of versions?
The figures have only officially been release for like 22 days. I guess I should not complain since they did release a lot of unique figures in a short period of time.
Sorry for rambling on.

1. Mattel said in their chat that figure belts were coming. I do agree that we should get some accessories other than the sh*tty Flex Force stuff. The FF series' accessories are very child oriented and designed to be appealing to toddlers. I want good, realistic accessory packs if nothing else. 2. Of course Mattel is starting off with loads of main event roster talent in different attires... what else would they launch with? Don't forget, Jakks launched the BCA line with all huge names and their BCA series 2 and two packs were almost entirely repaints. Expect Mattel to settle in and start with the rest of the roster soon. C'mon guys, we're only 22 days into the launch here! 3. I believe it was already stated that Mattel would be doing a Legends line sometime around the fall. 4. Again, Mattel said over the chat that Sheamus is coming. Of course he's the champion RIGHT NOW, but Mattel had series 1 & 2 planned and being manufactured months ahead of release to be ready for launch. Besides, Jakks was terrible at getting us new attires & fresh faces quickly. Often times, new talent would be released from WWE before Jakks would get their figures out! Look at Primo... Jakks never released an RA or DA Primo! And remember how long it took for Jakks to release a Jericho in trunks? Wasn't it like, almost 6 months?!! 5. Consider how long it took Jakks to release a ring that was in scale with their figures. BCA rings were great, but they were never in scale. Even the "Monster Ring" was WAY too large for BCAs as the top rope was above some figure's heads! TTL rings were no better, and after RA it still took years before a true RSR was released, and even then it was so flawed that everyone who bought it had to order replacement parts or get "V.2". Considering all this, if Mattel puts out a RSR of their own 2 - 3 years from now they will still be ahead of the game. Let me make this clear though... I absolutely EXPECT Mattel to begin releasing good accessories with the basics, two packs or elites (Yes Mattel, shirts ARE accessories, but for $15 you can throw a chair in there!)... or at least begin releasing accessory packs similar to the old Grapple Gear sets, Ring Gear sets, or Prop Boxes. You hear that Mattel? You better get started!

It took Jakks over a year to introduce belts for the figures when they took over the WWF license. I bet we see Mattel's belts within 6 months. You guys whining about the Cena & Rey figures have no clue. Those figures allow us to get newer superstars and new unique molds. Criticism and opinions are fine, but putting some thought into them before you post something would be nice.

You people are FAR too demanding ... sheesh. Mattel has released an initial line of GREAT figures. All figures have full deco with no missing attire details, scale is fixed, we have awesome Elite figure, etc. What's the problem? We're getting non main-eventers right from the start with Kofi, Evan, etc. Look at Basic #2 ... the whole set is pretty much mid-carders ... so you can't say we're only getting Cena and Rey? Will there always be more figures of Cena and Rey than others ... of course because these guys are money-makers and kids buy em'. No matter what company produces WWE's figures, this will always be a reality and it makes sense. It typically takes a toy company 6-7 months to have a wrestler or an attire arrive on shelves. Sheamus just showed up a few months ago so give it time.

There's nothing to worry about at all, if anyone is legit worried, mad or concerned over something with this action figure line, I advise you seek a psychological evaluation. They're toys and the main market is children who like to play with them and have no emotional attachment to them. Children don't care about minute details like full tattoos or logos, they just want their favorite guys.
Mattel is doing a good job already, the supplies of their figures are selling just as good as the BCAs did when WWF did those.
Like I said, if anyone has actual worry about these where they legitimately feel the emotion, you have a problem. There's more important things to worry about, but some of you are too young to even be worrying about anything yet. They are toys, enjoy them and play with them or display them

Mattel's stuff has "officially" been on shelves, what, 21 and some-odd days and we already have THIS? Sheesh, I feel sorry for you people's kids. If they don't secure the Nobel Prize by their first Birthday, they'll likely be disowned.

I know its a clever business decision but its still alot nevertheless. I don't know the exact figure but I know he's in WM Heritage, Basic line, 2 pack with Edge, Survivor Series... They are catching up to Jakks.
