Jim Ross: Welcome to the beautiful Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tonight we bring to you some great action which I'm sure you'll enjoy.
Bobby Heenan: We already starting off big tonight, Vince McMahon is in the ring.
Vince McMahon: Kevin Nash, last week you powerbombed me two times and once after you said you were getting revenge on me for having to put up with me all those years. Well it certainly wasn't a picnic having you or your boys around. Tonight, I'm going to be a man and I'm going to challenge you for the upcoming PPV, Superbrawl. In fact, I'm going to challenge you to a very simple match. A powerbomb match. The first person to powerbomb their opponent wins the match. What do you say?
Nash: Well you see Vince we could just do this right now. I could get in that ring and powerbomb you through the middle of the ring. I could put you out for months or even the rest of your WCW contract if I hit the powerbomb just right. What do you say, how about we do this right now?
McMahon: No no no. We will do this at the PPV, I've already asked *sigh* Mr. Bischoff and he's agreed to put the match on the card. So how about it. If you think you can kick my ass, just wait until the pay per view to do it.
Nash: Nah, I'd rather do it now.
In the first match of the night, Dusty Rhodes took on Paul Orndorff. Dusty started off strong, but in the end Orndorff got the upper hand and delivered a piledriver on Dusty for the win. After the match Lex Luger came down and him and Orndorff had a stare down.
Jim Ross: Well Freebirds, you asked for this opprotunity to talk, so here you go.
Hayes: Ladies and gentlemen you can call tonight the night of challenges. Vince McMahon has already challenged Kevin Nash and we are here to lay down another challenge. We're talking to you, Horsemen. We want to fight you at Superbrawl. Now of course I realize there are three of us and four of you, we will just find somebody that wants to end you guys as badly as we do. We want to prove we are better than the Horsemen. We already look better than they do. So we just want a shot. Eric Bischoff, you can be the one to grant us that shot, so please come out here and make it so.
Bischoff: Hayes, there is a problem and that problem is that the Horsemen, well three of them already have matches at Superbrawl. Ric Flair defends the world title against Terry Funk and Arn Anderson battles Dean Malenko. So you see there is only one man left from the Horsemen and that is Tully Blanchard. Now as much as I dislike the Horsemen, I am not going to put one of them in a three on one handicap match. So you will just have to pick one of you Freebirds to take on Tully. You pick one and I will sanction the match. But I will give you the Horsemen next week, the last week before the pay per view. In an eight man battle royal. It will pit the Freebirds against the Horsemen against Terry Funk.
Anderson: Boys now hold on. I may have a little problem with you, I'm not out here to fight, I'll save that for next week or to even talk to you. I'm out here since you declared tonight a night of challenges. Since Mr. Bischoff has already given me my match with Malekno at Superbrawl, I wanted to spice things up a bit. Malenko, I'm challenging you that a stipulation be added to our match. A stipulation that the loser leaves the 4 Horsemen. So just come out here and accept so I don't have to find you and beat the acceptance out of you.
Gordy: You want to come out here and talk, get your own interview time. This is Freebird time. Challenge people on your own time, don't ruin our time with your pettyness. We will run that battle royal next week and we will collectively win.
Ross: We are out of time for this interview, but before we go I must ask you Mr. Bischoff. Who is the new CEO?
In the second match of the night Ron Simmons defeated Arn Anderson after Malenko tripped Anderson allowing Simmons to roll up Anderson and get the 3. Malenko ran off before Anderson could get after him.
Our main event featured "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair teaming up with Tully Blanchard to take on Terry Funk in a handicap match. Funk fared well in the first few minutes fending off Flair and Blanchard, but the tag duo ended up being too much for Terry Funk. In the end we saw Ric Flair apply the figure 4 leg lock with Tully Blanchard stretching Funk out. Funk couldn't take it and tapped out. Flair let us know after the match that he would do the same to Funk at Superbrawl.

Nash storms the ring and begins his assault on Vince McMahon finishing him off with a powerbomb and he raises his arm as he stands over him.
