As we noted earlier here on the website, Alex Shelleys back is in bad shape with a few herniated and bulging discs.
TNA officials were planning a feud between The Motor City Machineguns and Generation Me, but Alex Shelley may have to miss significant ring time with his back and neck issues.
Chris Sabin, who suffered both a concussion and neck injury off an enzuigiri from Bubba Ray a few months ago, is said to be fine now

I was hoping for a MCMG vs. Generation Me The Young Bucks feud as well.
Actually, I'd like The Young Bucks v. MMG vs. The Hooliganz

Still can be done: Build up Generation Me first though.
Maybe have go against Lethal Consequences, a singles match against Amazing Red or Brian Kendrick, match against Kiyoshi and Homicide (World Elite), steal a win from the Nasty Boys with a distraction from Team 3D and that should roughly tide them over for a month or more. By this time, Shelley and Sabin have recovered a bit, and are able to set up an angle about how Hogan and Bischoff were so impressed with Generation Me that they took the Machine Guns spot. Challenge them to a ladder match for their spots back on the roster and it does something TNA rarely (if ever) does, make sense.
If need be, for filler's sake, throw Generation Me into the Nasty Boys/Team 3D feud and maybe even Hernandez & Matt Morgan to make a Full Metal Mayhem Match (Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Chains.) So in theory, Shelley can recover for around two months and still have a logical feud.
Worst part is, we'll see him in the ring just as much injured as we did when he was healthy.

It would be cool if they kept him as an on-screen character while he is injured. I agree with the idea of building Generation Me up first before having them feud with the MCMG.

Have him spy on Sabin's doings while he's injured by bringing back Paparazzi Productions. Mick Foley could be his counterpart so he could get footage of shady bussiness dealings between Hogan and Bischoff.
