The Wrestling Observer is reporting that The Undertaker is working through a lot of pain yet again. We have received several reports from readers who have attended house show events noting that 'Taker has been seen limping following matches and appearing as if he has legitimate pain in his back, hips and legs. When The Undertaker had hip surgery last year, it was thought to be a last ditch effort to repair nagging injuries before he eventually has full blown hip replacement surgery. Reports are also indicating that 'Taker is expected to work a very limited schedule after Wrestlemania 26, but this has been going on for about 10 years now and his schedule is always fluctuating depending on his injury status.

I think he should retire at the end of 2010 that will mark 20 years since he made his WWF (E) debut so I think that would be a good time to go out.

*tries to think of a wfigs Michelle McCool mark* .....i'll get back to you (psst...'jfinamore') *runs out of the thread* You sir, crack me up. ;D I think Taker should leave after mania and then come back in ten months or so in time for maybe another WM apperance.

(psst...'jfinamore') *runs out of the thread* You sir, crack me up. ;D I think Taker should leave after mania and then come back in ten months or so in time for maybe another WM apperance. Thank you, my friend. I also must agree...other than very rare and sporadic appearances- at this point in his illustrious career, the most important thing Taker has is his WM streak. He could never win a world title again, but show up each and every year until he's 20-0 at the biggest show of them all, and it would only further his amazing legacy. I don't think he should be used every single show, or even needs to be used every 4 weeks or so. It only adds to his 'mystique' when he pops out from nowhere. Let him rest up until WM, make his match a true spectacle of the immortals(whoever he faces) and then let him heal his wounds, get his surgery and come back in time to promote his next WM showdown, because in the end his health is the most important thing. He needs to have some semblance of a healthy body to live his life after his wrestling career is over.

^ That's true. He deserves the opportunity. I think he should really just pop up around Survivor Series to WM and then leave. Still within that time he shouldn't be on every SD so it would be 6 months but really only like 3 months of action.

I'd hate to say it but I really do believe this is the time for him to hang it up. It's almost sad watching him wrestle now knowing the pain he has to be in.

That image makes me miss the ABA Taker. And if Taker would just come back in time for Mania every year, they could even put him in a triple threat so he isn't the whole focal point of the match. That way he isn't taking every bump either. Of coarse he'd still win.
