Thanks, PJ. I had a feeling it was upcoming. I haven't seen protos yet of basic 3, and i didn't recall the lineup off the top of my head. I'm way more hyped about the Elite Orton, but i just thought it was interesting. (+1)

I am really looking forward to this figure. I prefer the Basics. I am cherry picking the Elite line.

Me too. I'm a Basics guy and then with Elites it'll just be the guys I really like.

I am the exact opposite of you guys. The Elite line will be my focus, with Basics filling in the holes. Depending on what differences an Elite offers, Basics also may be just fine.

Exactly my thinking. I don't mind spending the money on the guys I really want. I haven't collected in over 5 years now, no word of a lie, and I'm excited to start up. I love the look of the Elites, and despite the price, I think I can keep up with them.

I also prefer the Basics. I have elite Rey, but I plan on eventually getting a basic version. I'll get a few elite for their clothes. I even bought both Undertaker's just to put the coat on the basic one.

I have always been a "aesthetic over articulation" guy. I will get the Elites of my favorite characters.

I'm only collecting Basics. It gives me more guys faster and are cheaper. The elite i don't think will have everyone made.

Yes as someone who just displays their figures I'd rather not have all the extra articulation points showing.

^^ agreed. The elites are nice and I'll be sure to pick up wrestlers that I think need entrance gear (John Morrison, for example) but from a purely aesthetic standpoint, the basics are much nicer IMO.

I don't like my figures looking like their stomach has been attacked by a tiger or shark or something.

This should be a really good figure which Im looking forward to. I recently picked up the PPV1 Orton and its my favorite Mattel so far. Hopefully this BS3 Orton is the same with updated Tattoo's and a different attire.
