All I have to say is- the ECW threadhead hate has already gotten extremely old. We've told you guys we don't exclude anyone, we don't make anyone feel like poop for their opinions, and we just simply try to enjoy a quality hour of programming- in our opinion the very best thing that's on Television. If you guys can't accept that, or feel like we're a simple 'fad, trend or group' than you need to get your heads examined because we never once tried to recruit you, to disturb your way of life or force you to like Zack Ryder or anything else on ECW. We just continue to love what it is we come together and enjoy watching, without bickering and without complaint. It's all enjoyable to us because almost all matches are given a solid 12 plus minutes and a great amount of technical ringwork. The young guys on the show all have endless potential...all the veterans are ones who were misused on other brands and have done nothing but work exceptional programs and put over the younger guys and establish themselves as real threats to the title. The comedic segments, the music of the superstars, the hilarity that ensues each and every Tuesday night as we come together to discuss the proceedings in a civil and friendly environment all make ECW even more enjoyable than if it were a program exactly like 'Superstars'- all quick matches and no great promos or ongoing storylines or build to meaningful blowoff matches. The fact that some people make 'US' out to be some cult because of the fact we have a Cartoon sig, or matching userbars- grow the hell up and get over it. We're just having some fun, we like to play around with ThreadHead kayfabe. Don't act all high and mighty because you aren't a part of it. If it's jealousy that drives you, maybe you should try being kind to the forum members around you rather than just being constant bashers of everything that a large group of peaceful members seem to enjoy. Who's jealous? The way some of the things come across on this forum, you'd swear it was some kind of group or something. ECW, Jericho is God, Zack Ryder, Mean Street Posse... when you have things like userbars, cartoon signatures with your names underneath and even a group name, it's hard not to think this is some sort of fad. Jericho is God is DEFINITELY a fad, by all means. The guy is good, but it's to the point where people just say it for a laugh and to "fit in" now. And don't get me started on Zack Ryder. People like him because of his entrance music and his catchphrase, nobody took any notice of him during his Edgehead days. I think I've said enough, by all means continue. But my opinion still stands and it will stay the same.

Your opinion will always stay the same- that's why I've given up ever discussing anything with you, period. It's pointless and just leads to circular arguments and headaches.
I just had to let it be known that although we're a family unit in the ECW thread, and we all like to represent our fondness for that show- it's no reason for anyone to believe it's a conspiracy to get Zack Ryder over, and to make Jericho a God to all. People believe and state what they want to, just like you will always continue to state asinine beliefs of your own as fact.
Just leave it alone, and refrain from slandering a group of members on here because you disagree with the product. We aren't WWE creative. We just choose to enjoy what entertains us in a manner that allows us to be friends. Sorry if you have none of those.

I found the 6-man quite boring untill the last few mins tbh. But SD! had HHH vs Punk and Rey vs. HBK. I would have taken that over the tag match anyday. Sure the outcome wasnt the greatest on either side but got some damn good wrestling out of it. Raw was eh.

Oh, and also just because I actually like contributing to threads I reply to- and not just filling it up with argumentative slander, I REALLY loved the HBK/Rey match from SD! this week, regardless of the fact they kinda ripped of the Shelton/HBK springboard-superkick spot. I loved the pacing of it, and Taker coming down to ruin that match didn't cheapen the quality of it to me in any way.
Punk is currently the most quickly evolving character, and the heel in the best program since Jericho turned on HBK during the Highlight Reel and knocked out his wife a couple years ago.
We're just getting more eventual build and an actual reason for DX to be threatened by and care about the Straight Edge Society.
RAW had its strong points, Dule Hill was one of the less cringeworthy guest hosts. Cena was entertaining as all hell, and the Miz/MVP storyline is red hot right now.

If you dont like whats on your tv, usually one of these things works. As for the lil ECW fad, if you like a show fine by all means watch and enjoy it. However the cartoon things and "groupings" or naming yourselves after wrestlers is really silly. I mean I remember my friends and I liking something so we all gave each other names from the show. Of course that was 1993 and I was in 4th grade....Ya see?

Typically, if I am going to bother posting somewhere, I find it much easier for myself in general, if I'm not a douche bag. I guess the majority of us who can agree to disagree, remain civil, and get along for the most part are just plain weird. You act like having friends online is somehow below you, but in some strange way it gives you satisfaction to have everyone dislike the **** out of you. If that's your mindset, why do you even bother posting?

Woah, woah, woah buddy, nobody was attacking you (oh right, jSYN arrived). I was simply asking why so many people think ECW is the best show on TV, because I really don't see it. Dan explained to me why he likes it, that's all I needed really. Although I do agree with jSYN to an extent (some of the jokes get a little over the top (see Jericho is God)), I can see why people are getting sick of discussing anything with him. jSYN, I also laughed when you said that people like Ryder because of a entrance and a catchphrase, because while I agree... see your boy, The Miz. Good day.

Since we're on the internet and over 18 (some of us) we have to be hardlined, straight foward and serious about everything? Unno usually when it's something that doesn't effect me in any way, shape, or form, I just....unno...leave it alone. I wonder if in real life, if some of you guys(not specifically you G2) ever saw a group of guys all wearing shirts from a band that you think is terrible or overrated, would you walk over to them and tell that their favorite band sucks and that the only good part is the lead guitarist. Would you tell them that the shirts are silly and the idea that they all follow such a band is nothing short of a fad? I'm not so sure that you would. But this is the internet, so I guess that gives everyone the go ahead to fully bash and go against anything that gains any sort of organized popularity. Once again this was not directly at you G2. Pretty much everyone that feels the need to to against things unecessarily.

But seriously guys, hardly anyone is hating on you. There are way more Threadheads than haters so stop worrying about it.

There was one, and I do mean ONE guy who complained about it and must've opend WF's pandora's box or something. It was really rediculous. Threadhead hate had, in itself, become a fad or sorts. So because of that, it really gets under my skin that people still go on about it. So if I did, I'm sorry for going overboard, but people really need to leave it alone and stop making it like it's effecting their lives.

Well for me personally, I enjoyed SD a lot this week. We had two big matches that are relatively new. HHH Vs Punk really showed how good the SES has become. While HBK versus Rey was great. Sure neither had a clean finish but it left room for future matches between them.
And some people say they don't understand why so many prefer ECW. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they focus more on the wrestling part of the show. Some weeks we get 15 min main events. And the Main Event from a few weeks ago, of Jericho vs Christian was probably the best match of the year on free TV. This week may not have been the best ever, but the show usually delivers.
As for RAW... It was pretty good this week. They set the stage for the DX split. No Hornswoggle! And the Miz has been entertaining. And with the Road to Wrestlemania starting the show should keep picking up.

Willbuh- I have no problems with you personally(or anyone really personally, because it's not worth one's effort to hate people on a forum). I was just merely defending my stance, and if you want to point out the flaws in people liking each character- and continue to dislike many things that I enjoy whole heartedly, it's alright so long as you don't try to bash me over the head with your opinion and agree with it. You state your mind, and do so in an adult, organized mature fashion. No problems with you.
jSYN- not assuming, simply speaking to the fact that you seem to spend a vast majority of all given hours in a day here on WF...where everybody hates you.
Why spend your time doing that, when you could be outdoors interacting with your 'real friends'? You say internet friends mean nothing, then why value the opinions of those who post around you? Are you only here to boost your own ridiculously inflated and misguided ego? It seems to me that for someone who hates the current way WWE uses many of their stars, and is generally disliked because he will not conduct himself in a civil manner in any disagreement- you sure do spend a hell of a lot of time on here trying to get yourself 'over'.
G2- no problems with the way you tackled that argument, except for the fact that you calling us 'silly' and saying the ECW cartoon poster is something a group of 4th graders would do- we're all posting on a wrestling action figure forum. Surely this is not the place to take everything in life like it's the end-all-be-all. God forbid we have a bit of fun, drag ourselves out of normalcy and try to establish an enjoyable and humorous bond with our fellow forum members. How childish of us.

I get accused wrongly of something that isn't true and when I don't care about what happens on the internet, it's considered "below me", no. Real friends are in real life, not on the internet. At the end of the day. Nobody knows nobody here, and all you see is a bunch of wrestling thoughts. So have fun being and assuming wrong, Mr. Wrong.
