Welcome to Monday Night Raw

Monday night raw kicks off and Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show and promote last night’s Royal Rumble just as they talk they are interrupted by the sounds of HBK’s theme.

HBK Announcement:

Shawn Michaels grabs a microphone and begins to talk.

HBK: Last night I entered the Royal Rumble at number 25 and was able to outlast the remain people and I am able to pick exactly who I am facing at Wrestlemania 26, Deadman it will be me versus you one more time but this time is going to be the one celebrating as I will end your winner streak and you will be the one resting in peace.

HBK puts the microphone down as Jerry Lawler and Cole put over the fact that Undertaker may not be World champion come Wrestlemania do to Elimination chamber in just three weeks time.

William Shatner mets Santino

The Cameras head backstage as William Shatner is talking to some staff about an upcoming show that he is going to be on. Santino shows up dressed like Spock from Star Trek and refers to Shatner as Captain T Crunch which gets some laughs out of Shatner and he leaves telling Santino to live long and prosper.

Divas Title: Maryse Vs Gail Kim

The first match of the evening was to determine who would be the official Divas champion. Maryse and Gail Kim were both determine to win the gold. Maryse a former Divas champion and Kim trying to be the 2nd person to have held both the women’s and divas championship. The match was even for the most part but tricked down after a botch by Gail that she slipped up and almost injured Maryse but she was able to recover and hit the maneuver. The match drew to a close when Gail’s Eat Defeat was reversed into the French Kiss (Snap DDT) and Maryse picked up the win.

Legacy vs Primo Colon and Evan Bourne

Tag team wrestling was on tap as Legacy took on the highflying duo of Primo and Evan Bourne. Legacy was determined to make an impact after having a subpar performance in last nights rumble. Primo was trying to showcase himself in this match but it wasn’t quite working as Legacy really gel tonight. Rhodes worked over Primo’s back and arm for most of the match and keep up the quick tags. Evan surprisingly got a tag in and brought a full head of steam into the match. Evan used his educated feet well throwing kicks to both Cody and Dibiase. Evan tag Primo back in. Rhodes knocked Evan off the apron and held him off as Ted was able to nail the Dream Street on Primo for the 3 counts.

Winners: Legacy

EC Qualifier: John Cena Vs Jack Swagger

In the 1st qualifier for the 2 raw superstars in the Chamber we saw the brash young “All-American American” Jack Swagger take on John Cena. Cena really showed some pride as he was able to bounce back from last night’s Royal Rumble . Swagger wanted to rocket himself into the main event scene but this wouldn’t be his night as the match went back and forth but one slip-up by Swagger left him to get his Attitude Adjusted and gave Cena a chance to enter the chamber on February 21st.

Winner: John Cena

Bella Twins vs Alicia Fox and Jillian Hall

In the mandatory women’s match prior to you main event we saw the Bella Twins take on the odd pairing of Alicia Fox & Jillian Hall. Jillian and Fox didn’t really blend well together even though they were able to hit a pretty nice double suplex on Nikki. Brie got the tag and hit a sloppy kick to Jillian sending her to the outside. Nikki was able to recover and with some trickery and some mild confusion one of the Bella Twins were able to get put Alicia Fox in a Small Package pin. I believe it was Brie but can’t one hundred percent confirm this.

Winners: Bella Twins


EC Qualifier: Triple H Vs Big Show

In the final Chamber qualifier for the Raw’s spots “The Game” Triple H took on The Big Show. Show and Triple H have had quite the history as of late with the war between DX and Jerishow. Show was coming off an impressive Rumble as was HHH. Hunter was able to surprise the crowd as he went face to face with the big man. The match had the fans going wild. The match drew to end as Show went for the KO punch but Hunter ducked under it and was able to catch Show with a kick to the gut doubling over Show and enabled Triple H to hook the arms and nail the Pedigree on “The World’s Largest Athlete”. Lawler put over the fact that Triple H and Cena would join 4 other superstars to see who faces Sheamus at Wrestlemania 26.

McMahon/Hart Segment

Mr. McMahon came out and began to bash the fans of Nashville, TN telling them that “The Hitman” was done and he wouldn’t be here tonight or ever again. Suddenly the lights went pink and the familiar shriek of a guitar hit as Bret’s tron video came on and no one came out. Vince McMahon began to crack up and called the Nashville fans inbreeds and rednecks. Then the lights went out again and Bret “The Hitman” Hart music hit and this time he was accompany by the Hart Dynasty. Bret put over his nephew and his niece as well as the last graduate of the dungeon and said that Vince McMahon was afraid of the Dynasty just like he was afraid of Bret 12 years ago.

Vince said he wasn’t afraid of no man and said that he would prove it but not tonight, it happen on his time not Bret’s . Vince also said that if the Hart Dynasty they would Next Week right here on the flagship as they take on DX for the Unified Tag Titles. Vince put the microphone done and said he wasn’t scared and he had faith in DX. He also stammered on about how he took on God as the camera blacked out to the WWE Logo.
