Wow I thought something like this would happen but I could not imagine it happened so soon.
Local K-Mart has Mattel's figures at 25% off and the store is drowning in those figs.
Well this is what happens when you make the figures that look like crossbreed line between WWE and Will and Grace show.

I personally think the figures are great but I too questioned the line before. I've already invested over 200 bucks in these figures and if the line is a bust I'm going to feel like an ass. The figures are very well done but I can see why some people are turned off to be honest.

Lol. I'm not sure what he's alluding to either. That's good you get 'em with a 25% discount! I wish my freaking KMart did that too. I'm stuck at paying 14.99 for an elite. Just picked up a Rey; he's kick ass! It's funny because I can't stand Mysterio in the WWE. Good figure though. Good figure. |

The KMart here simply stocked wrong. Nothing but WM Heritage's & Entrance Greats. If Im a kid, Im looking for that new sh*t... not an outdated Edge or HHH figure.
I bought Orton, Austin, and Taker and that's only because they had that buy 2 get 1 free sale.

It could be just a general reduction... dosn' mean anything really. I work in retail and we sometimes have reductions on stuff that sell well, So i wouldn't look too far into it.

I love how if Jakks was 25% off at a store, the post would have been "JAKKS 25% OFF!!!"
with content something like:
"Wow, I never thought I'd see a sale this good, everything is 25% off and they have a lot in stock, I'm SO psyched, I'm gonna go buy everything!
I guess this is what happen when they make such a great product, they can afford to offer us a discount. Jakks is great. <3"
Yet, since it's Mattel, the store isn't having a sale, they've trying to clear out inventory because the figures suck. Sorry, I enjoy my figures looking like people, not bobble heads with balloon arms. I like Jakks, but people who post craplike this piss me off.

I respect everybody's opinions, but I just don't get the whole "Jakks sucks vs Mattel rules" and vice versa attitudes...
I collected Jakks and now I'm getting some Mattel figs too, and even though Mattels are very nice, I still love my Jakks figs.
I know a lot of this general attitude came from their (Jakk's) big quality drop in the recent past, but you can't deny they did a lot of good stuff for a long time.
Why can't most of the people (at least from the general sensation in this forum) migrate from Jakks to Mattel without totally hating on the "ex"?
It's really odd...
