TNA wrestling producer and former on-air manager of Team Canada, Scott D'Amore has decided to leave TNA Wrestling effective immediately. D'Amore, who most recently was the agent for the TNA Knockouts division, which produced some of the highest ratings for SpikeTV's Impact, has decided to pursue a new wrestling project in Canada. D'Amore's Border City Wrestling, based out of Windsor, Ontario, will be merging with Toronto's BSE Pro Wrestling, run by Jason A. Brown, to become one of North America's largest and longest running independent wrestling company under the new banner, Maximum Pro Wrestling! More details will be released in the near future, but the new company is planning to run extensive live events, Pay Per Views, DVD releases as well as develop a new television series. Over the past few years, both promotions have grown extensively, and have produced top-notch shows in cities and towns throughout Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Michigan, New York State and Nunavut that have been headlined by such Superstars as The Rock, Trish Stratus, Kurt Angle, Edge, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, The Dudley Boys, Kevin Nash, Tommy Dreamer, Gail Kim, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Paul "Mr. Wonderful" Orndorff and countless others, not to mention some of the world’s premiere up-and-coming wrestling talent from Japan, United States, Canada and more! Check back to www.bordercitywrestling.com and www.bsepro.com for more information!

I saw this on the Ontario Indy boards, and nearly crap bricks. I cannot wait to see what MPW is going to do.

Holy crap! This is freakin huge! The two biggest promotions in Ontario merging into one company is awesome! It's even better that Scott is devoting so much time to this. Hopefully this doesn't mean the end of BSE's Northern shows, since those were always really successful for the company. I also know that Scott isn't on the best terms with some of BSE's regular workers, so hopefully differences can be set aside.

The northern shows are definately staying. Just now, you will see guys like Ashe in Windsor and guys like Phil Atlas in Sudbury. Its the cream of the indy wrestling crop all in one promotion. It is time for the workers in Ontario to step it up, or be left behind

I like this for Saskatchewan...
We might actually get more than one wrestling company per month here. Imagine if WWE came through and HIW and Maxpro end up doing a show all in the same month. AWESOME lol.
