What a shocker, Tito never got an up close camera shot, so he has to try & steal the spotlight. Typical. He's probably still bitter about the fight with Coleman being called off.

Did Coleman forget how to wrestle? He didn't shoot on Randy once! He was so stationary and flat-footed. It looked as if he had never been in a fight before. Strange performance for sure.
And leave it to Tito Ortiz to trash talk a guy who just lost. Classy as always.

Good show, I was glad to see Couture win and the way he did was cool but I hope to see Coleman back soon with a better showing. Also would love to see Coleman knock Tito out but we'll have to wait until after the fight with Chuck.

Glad to see Couture pick up the win. I cannot wait to see Tito get back into the Octagon and fight Chuck.

Overall, was it worth the buy? I might buy it on DVD, not sure though. I only want to see the Couture/Coleman and Serra/Trigg fight.

I think it was a very good event with some very good fights. I was very glad to see the outcomes of the main card fights, except the Marquardt one.

i thought it was worth it too... couture/coleman was great for nostalgia, plus couture proves every time out that hes still a top contender. sonnen/marquardt was a very good fight. i was into danzig/buchholz too, on the undercard. the only fight i didnt see/remember was thiago/swick, i dont remember where i was on that one... alcohol coma probably.
who was the other guy in coutures corner in between the 1st and 2nd round? i know gil martinez was in there, but i couldnt tell who was with him... very drunk.
does this make couture next in line after rua/machida?

Well, Couture actually has fights left on his contract, so i think it's pretty safe to assume he'll get a shot after the Rua/Lyoto rematch. Very interested in seeing this show, though the outcome of the Sonnen/Marquardt fight saddens me...

I cannot wait to see Tito get back into the Octagon and fight Chuck. Why?? He's just gonna lose again. He's never beat Chuck in the past and he never will beat him in the future. End of story.

Very pleased with several results Serra sparking Trigg, Thiago with a sweet win over Swick, Sonnen getting the upset over Nate by dominating him & then Randy totally outclassing Colemnan. Really only result I'm gutted by was that Danzig got a win, looked poor doing it though & next time he steps up in competition he'll get another loss.
Outside a fight with Tito at the end of the year I can't see The Hammer returning to the Octagon. Then again I said the same thing before he pushed Shogun & then shockingly beat Bonnar so who knows.
Money though says Randy is next in line for winner of machida/ shogun 2

The more I think about what happened to Marquardt at the hands of Sonnen, I can't even imagine what Dan Henderson would have done to Nate.

The more I think about what happened to Marquardt at the hands of Sonnen, I can't even imagine what Dan Henderson would have done to Nate. . No doubt. I think it's honestly going to be kinda sad to see how easy Hendo obliterates the Strikeforce Middleweight division. I see Gegard posing some threat to him at LHW, maybe, but other than that I just don't see anyone that has a style that Hendo hasn't faced, hasn't beat, and hasn't fought at higher levels.

Great night of fights, I was very happy.
My girlfriend beat me in UFC Fantasy again, though... God dammit. And I came in 176 out of over 18,000, so it's not like my picks sucked.

Think I might star pulling for Sonnen a little. Wasn't at all taken back at any of his comments. Guys a straight shooter. I like Nate as well, he's a classy guy, but I think Sonnen is getting a bad rap. Guy just tells it like it is.
