Sponsored by Viagra. UFC 109 ''RELENTLESS'', 2/6/2010 (Spike TV/PPV/ESPN-UK) Mandalay Bay Events Center, Las Vegas NV1. Heavyweight Bout: Rolles Gracie vs. Joey Beltran 2. Heavyweight Bout: Tim Hague vs. Chris Tuchscherer 3. Light Heavyweight Bout: Brian Stann vs. Phil Davis 4. Lightweight Bout: Phillipe Nover vs. Rob Emerson 5. Lightweight Bout: Melvin Guillard vs. Ronnys Torres6. Lightweight Bout: Mac Danzig vs. Justin Buchholz 7. Welterweight Bout: Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg 8. Middleweight Bout: Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller 9. Welterweight Bout: Mike Swick vs. Paulo Thiago10. Middleweight Bout: Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen 11. Light Heavyweight Bout: Randy Couture vs. Mark Coleman *Fights 5 and 6 will be aired live on Spike TV
We will start to see the downward spiral of Mike Swick. I like him, but Thiago is a lot tougher than people give him credit for and he's probably one of the top 5 underrated guys in the sport.

It's actually sponsored by Bud Light. It was my poor attempt at humor.

Even the hammer knows that Coleman is extremely one-dimensional.

Rolles Gracie vs. Joey Beltran Tim Hague vs. Chris Tuchscherer Brian Stann vs. Phil Davis Phillipe Nover vs. Rob Emerson Melvin Guillard vs. Ronnys Torres Mac Danzig vs. Justin Buchholz
Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg- I think Serra is going to prove just how dangerous he can be. He really should be at 155 again but Trigg is a good fight for him. I like Trigg, I like how cocky he is, and I think he is one of the best commentators ever..so after this fight I hope he retires and goes back to doing that. Trigg's main strength is his wrestling...so if he takes Serra down I'm sure Serra will have no problem being on his back working for a submission. I think Trigg loses by RNC.
Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller- Maia is going to win by submission...because thats pretty much all he's got.
Mike Swick vs. Paulo Thiago- I know Swick is the clear favorite. He just came off a loss against a guy he should have beat (Hardy) so this is a good fight for him...he gets to avenge a friends loss (Koscheck) and at the same time get back on track to a title shot. But I think Thiago is going to shock the world by beating Swick.
Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen- I don't like Sonnen. Nate is my second favorite MW right behind Anderson. So I hope Marquardt steamrolls past Sonnen. Marquardt has looked unbelievable in his last handful of fights. I think a rematch with Anderson will look a lot different. I can't wait for this fight.
Randy Couture vs. Mark Coleman- I think this will be a lot closer than anyone is giving Coleman credit for.. But the end result will still be Couture's hand being raised. I just hope it isn't a straight wrestling match for 15 minutes. I hope it stays on the feet.

Well, the main event is certainly a "Battle of the Ages", there's no doubt about that. I'll pick Couture in that one because Coleman will gas for sure, just like in most of his fights. As for the Trigg/Serra fight, I believe that will be a "Loser Leaves UFC" fight.
I mean, Trigg is coming off a loss to Koscheck and Serra has two losses back-to-back from GSP and then Matt Hughes. If Serra loses again for a 3rd time in a row, then he's done. If Trigg loses as well, I think he's done too. This is a very important fight for both fighters. This is a MUST win fight for either guy. If they want to stay in the UFC anyway.

Prelims on Spike weren't bad at all. Both were some decent scraps.
Main card now! This should be a good one.
