Congrats go out to Cain Velasquez for dropping and finishing Big Nog. Man, that guy is a friggin' beast. I really don't think there is anyone to stop "The Cain Train". He'll mow right through everyone in his path.
I'd love to see him vs. Frank Mir, just so he can shut up Mir. I could definitely see Velasquez getting the winner of Dos Santos/Gonzaga next. And if he wins that one, then he should be next in line for a title shot.
Overall, an awesome night of fights. I loved it. They were all great. Even the fight at the end between Bonnar/Krzysztof was an awesome fight until the unfortunate stoppage. Those things happen though.
Can't wait for the next UFC PPV!!

As much as I was rooting for Big Nog, I seriously have nothing bad to say about Cain. I'm not going to say I'm a huge diehard fan suddenly, but I give the guy his props. He fought like the real deal here, and put away a certified legend. Argue all you want about Nog being on the downside of his career, but I personally think this win comes at a time where you can't cleanly write Nog off as being burnt out. The guy was champion, lost his title while fighting at less than 100%, beat Couture, and then got taken out here.
Very happy that Wandy won the fight. Not really a bad loss for Bisping either, as he hung in there nicely until getting caught by that late barrage. I'm curious as to whats next for both guys at MW. I know Cote and Akiyama both wanted Wandy, but things can change. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing who Bisping has to try and bounce back against.

I only got 5 fights right...oh well.
I'm pretty down to see Nog lose but I'm completely ecstatic that Wanderlei won.
Hopefully this proves by now that Bisping can't hang with the big dogs. Has he ever won a fight over a guy with a name? The UFC needs to keep him as their golden boy for the UK shows and continue having him fight guys that aren't anywhere close to being top 10 ranked.
I wonder where Wandy goes from here?
I wonder where everyone goes from here...if I had to guess it would be
Krzysztof vs. Bones Jones (if Bones loses his fight with Vera)
George Sotiropoulos vs. Tyson Griffin
Wanderlei Silva vs. Vitor Belfort
Big Nog vs. the loser of Carwin vs. Mir
Ryan Bader vs. Rich Franklin
CroCop vs. ?

This fight convinced me that Cain Velasquez can beat Brock Lesnar.
I don't know if he WILL beat Brock (if and when they finally fight), but I would no longer be surprised to see it happen.

I am truly surprised Cain won. I am a fan of his but I honestly thought he had no chance against Nog..I was alomst certain that it was far too soon for him to face someone as amazing as Nog is...to me it was going to be like Matt Hughes vs. GSP the first time around...where GSP dominated the fight but he made a mistake and Matt Hughes capitalized on it....but Cain beating Nog? Wow.....That is impressive. I would much rather see him fight Brock over Carwin or Mir for the third time.

Wanderlei Silva vs. Vitor Belfort CroCop vs. ? Just watched the Post-fight press conference, and Silva/Akiyama seems pretty likely. As for Cro Cop, Dana is gonna try to get the Rothwell match asap.

It seemed to me that Bisping was saved by the bell all 3 rounds.
Final seconds of Round 1: Wandi starts to build some steam and had Bisping moving backwards then *ding* round over.
Round 2: Bisping almost tapped. It looked like he brought his hand up to tap, hesitated, then decided to try and last until the bell, which he somehow did.
Round 3: I thought Wandi had scored the TKO. The place I was watching at was so loud and cheering so much when Bisping went down that nobody heard the bell and thought the fight had been stopped.
Obviously Bisping lost via decision, so I guess what I'm trying to say is that he was saved from being finished all 3 rounds. At least that is how I saw it.

Man, you got that right. He flat-out schooled Joe "Daddy". His ground-game was friggin' crazy. Some of the best stuff I've ever seen. A VERY impressive win for sure.

I remember I told Brock Lesnar at UFC 100, that Cain would "rape his ass" after his disrespectful actions. He then flipped me off. Everyone here laughed at me. But now I think Cain settled a couple of those nay sayers down. Cain is a great leader for the heavyweight division. He will not bring in the media that Lesnar does. But he works so hard and is a very genuine kind person. With a great head on his shoulders. That wont piss off fans and sponsors.
As far as I know Cain was offered a chance to wait until the winner of Carwin/Mir faces Lesnar. To fight the winner. Which means he would be out 4-6 months. He said no. He wants to fight sooner. That's the way the Kos and Cain are. If they could they would fight every month.

Cain IMO is the biggest threat to Lesnar out there right now but IMO I still think Lesnar would win...
