As good as they look, the lack of classics are what's keeping me from buying any Mattel figures right now. I hope they go the route Jakks did and try to cover all of the wrestlers included in the LJN and Hasbro WWF lines. tbh i do want some classics dont get me wrong its not like i want a jim duggan fig but there are some legends that i want I'd buy a Jim Duggan over a John Cena or Randy Orton any day. To each his own, I guess.

I agree with you on not wanting a classics line, but not for same reason, I am a new generation kind of fan, and classic stuff bores me to death. And I'm the exact opposite. I think modern wrestling is garbage and present day wrestlers are boring. See how that works? Therefore I'd like to see a Classics/Legends line.

I grew up on the old WWF, started watching as an adult during the Attitude Era, and the only reason I will watch WWE programming today is for the older guys that are still leading the locker room. What I would love is for Mattel to deliver the same nostalgia for WWE as the Four Horsemen have with the DC Universe Classics. The 4HM have used the Super Powers Collection as a template for character choices. It would be awesome if Mattel used the Hasbro WWF Collection as a template for their Classics line, down to the attire the guys wore! Of course I'd like to see more popular guys like Bret done in multiple attires, but it would be great to get a modern version of each Hasbro character to stand next to their vintage counterpart.

As an older collector, I'd prefer to see superstars that I grew up watching, but that's just me. Hogan, Warrior, Bret, Yokozuna, Diesel are the guys i'd love to see Mattel versions of, but only time will tell.

WWE/F was at its best in the late 1980s/early 1990s. But anyway I defiently want to see a Mattel legends line, the jakks i bought are mostly classic figures. I dont care about figures of wrestlers like Sheamus, I wanna see figures of Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Yokozuna, Bret Hart etc...

I'd like a Headbangers 2-pack from Mattel that we never got from Jakks when the license was running out.

The only Mattel figure I own right now is the Elite Undertaker and I am planning to keep it that way till Mattel starts it's own classic line. It was the classic series that got me started in collecting wrestling figures in the first place. The current generation of Superstars don't really appeal to me.

i dont think classics will really affect the production of current superstars. i think mattel is more focused on the current guys unlike jakks who seemed to be more focused on classics. plus the wwe roster isnt that huge. we already have a good portion of the current roster. it shouldnt be long before we have the rest

They can make one, but there is no classic line for me without Hogan, so it all seems pretty LAAAAAME. Besides, integrating new loose classics into my collection of Jakks would throw off the consistency. I likely would not buy, but they can make one for everybody else. I'm not against them making it. Classic WWF is so much better than WWE it is not even funny. It is actually a little embarrassing how crappy wrestling is now comparatively.

I want Mattel to make Classics because if they maintained the same scaling and accuracy they have with today's Superstars then the Jakks ones would be blown away. It'd be nice to own a Bret Hart that didn't have thunder thighs and Scott Steiner biceps or a Vader that wasn't made with rehashed Yokozuna parts
