Just thought I'd point this out, if no one noticed, but I saw that when Mattel produces a figure, they match the attire with the background picture of the superstar: Kofi Kingston: The Miz: Rey Mysterio: Just thought it was very cool how much detail Mattel puts into every figure to make it unique, even right down to the packaging

Not much of a discovery since it's plain as day right on the package, but it's cool of them none the less. A little costly? probably, but it looks really professional

Agreed, it makes the packaging look so much better when it matches the figure in the package. I was looking back at it and Jakks used the same picture for everything, (ie John Cena had the same one for the past couple RA series and his DA figures)

Yeah I like how they do this. I'm a loose collector for the most part so I shouldn't complain, but there were a few times Jakks put blatantly different attires on boxes and it just grinded my gears. For example, they used a picture of Triple H in red tights in his Evolution days, yet almost every figure was in black. Made me want a red one pretty bad.

I like that they do that, as I often keep the card backing after I open a figure.

They also have holes on the side so the figure can breath.

Yeah i noticed this a long while ago, its just awesome. Shows mattels committment not just to the fig but also ensuring a completely awesome MOC product. Even for every different attire for rey they persist to use the accurate pic which is really commendable. Not like jakks who used a random pic.

I guess I'm not a very astute observer, because I didn't notice. Cool attention to detail though.

Brilliant part on Matell's part. I noticed this first when I came home with the 2 Pack Y2J and the Sig Series Y2J.
They must has some really good editing skills. The packaging alone makes it all fun.

Mattel claims they listen to us fans.. I wonder if early in the creative process a collector complained about this?
Either way, this is one of those little details that goes a long way.
