That really looks great BenJ.
The designs on the shorts look very clean. The crotch piece is perfect! I am just a bit iffy about the legs. I would prefer normal tights painted over but the the crotch piece being a rather odd shape, it wouldnt look right. I think you managed to represent my favorite LJN into a modern Ra figure very well.

thanks war heart.. these are actully matt hardy pants and when ya set him for a camel clutch the legs allow for a almost perfect crouching for the clutch...thanks man
kve you post just to say that?...lol uh ok...lol
on a side note, he has the barrel chest obviously,then the matt hardy pants ( which again makes for a really easy camel clutch )the new knee pads and the feet were sort of thinking out side the box for me...sheik had the short boots sort of like the austin boot mold...i cut the toe off the boots off and cut the toes off the shiek boots and glued

I was always surprised they never put out the LJN version of the Sheik in a repaint.

That's the one I wanted Jakks to make the whole time, but they never did.
Great job though. It's not perfect, but I like it.

lol i just pmed you mo...lol i use decor arts's " Dura Clear Varnish" the one marked Gloss / Brilliant as i like that shiny new figure look...lol it is the 4th time i thought of ways to improve him..i like tinkering as ya know...lol
anyone like the ljn poster and package behind him?...lol

You should pose the LJN Style Classics like their LJN ancestors. That would be pretty sweet and nostalgic.
