I saw this LJN Bendie Tag Team Champions set on eBay this week. Had never seen this particular set before:
To be honest, I do not know which other sets there have been made and I have never been able to find documentation about this either. Do not own the Lee's LJN Guide, perhaps it is in there?
Anyway....
I own four of these sets already:
Kirchner/Steamboat , Sheik/Volkoff , Albano/Steele and Savage/Ventura
There are 18 figures in the full LJN bendie single carded set (19 if you include the blue pads Hulk Hogan which was (supposed to be) exclusive to the ring & cage set.
The other 8 bendies that were included in the set were: Bundy, Studd, Heenan, Beefcake, Piper, Hillbilly, Orndorff and Andre.
Does anyone know if the other 8 Bendies were also released in Tag Team sets. Has anyone seen pictures, own another set or read it somewhere?
A Bundy/Studd set would make a lot of sense as they used to be a regular Tag Team. Andre/Hillbilly ? Orndorff/Heenan?
