So, with all these sweet figures coming out, and more on the way, how do you all keep from spending every dime on them?
I mean, I walked into my wal-mart, and they had elite 2, and UFC 0, so I dropped 60 bucks just like that. I am selling some stuff to have some extra money, but still, they keep coming
so, what do you all do?

There's no need to buy every figure, I just limit myself to whoever I like.

Shew, some people on this forum are real brave and bit#hy from behind a computer screen!! Anyways- After paying my bills I have barely enough money to buy a Q-tip. But What I do is buy the figures from each series that I know woln't have too many figure repeats (i.e.- Evan Bourne, Mark Henry, Swagger, Beth, Mickie) and I hold off on all the Cenas, Reys, Batistas because I know they'll be in every line up so when theres a crappy set where I don't want anyone I can go back and catch up on all the main star guys. Or if I have extra money. Other than that I buy them, close my eyes, and pray for my next paycheck!!! lol

I buy online since I don't have the time to go figure hunting, I'm in Canada so stores don't have the newest stuff anyway. This makes it worse for me as before the figures arrive I see new stuff that I want, next thing you know the credit card bill arrives and I'm afraid to open it. What I started doing is making a list of the upcoming figures I want (bare minimum) and making sure I only buy those. I have a large Jakks collection so I try not to get doubles unless they are great figures, that does help a tad.

Yeah, like any good addict you find a way to get your fix. Seriously, I'm not joking around. I've sold PS3's, Xbox systems, Wii's in the past for figure funds. Many DVD collections have bitten dust as well. As well as other figure collections...

After paying all bills, i still have some cash. I work and operate a vendor table at indy shows at lleast 2 times a month. I have money to pick up what i want, rather than what i need. I am liking nearly everything coming out

I usually look at what's coming out and when, then figure out who I really want and how much it'll be. Then, if that seems like a lot, I'll either try to justify it or figure out who I don't really need.

I have a decent amount left after bills, so I allocate some for the figs! Plus, these happen to launch at tax time, so used some of my refund towards these. Plus, like some people posted I've parted ways with other collectible stuff or figures...I don't mind, it's nice having something for awhile, but then I like to rotate it out with some new stuff, like these figures.

I plan a month ahead to see what new series are coming out and who I want from them, MOTUC is where my budget starts then I see what the mass retailers are looking like i.e. DCUC and WWE Elite, and now I've got into the Shocker Toys Indie Spotlight figures, so I'm now collecting 4 toy lines, but to find a budget you need to figure out your spare money first then decide how you want to divid it up, what is your main collection, if it's only WWE then the best thing to do is go the favorites or new figures, main eventers will always be around and in a next series could have a better attire, hope that helps.
