My display is RA only, and today I got my first Mattel because I thought it looked great, Santino.
Although I love the figure, I will not get any more as I have spent too much time and money on my RA display, even though the Santino is great, the detail is amazing.
My question is, if we got Mattel first and then later got Jakks, would you collect Jakks?
After seeing the Santino, I do not think I could.

Very clever question there. Its always too hard to stop collecting and stick by it however i would probably be more partial to the Mattels. How figures evolve, technically mattel should be better and jakks would seem like a downgrade.

It's almost like a Lost paradox. If Mattel got the license in '96 and were making figures this good, and then Jakks took over the WWE license this year, I think Jakks would probably be offering something better than RAs.
But I don't think I'll be buying many Jakks TNA figures. I never liked RAs/DAs too much. I might get figures of the big bulky guys (Nash, Morgan etc) though. Everyone ese looks too unrealistic in RA form, I think.

RA's probably not many...RA Classics - Yes But I don't really care if they are in scale with another companies figures for these two simple reasons - First It would be foolish to think a company would scale their product to that of a rival company because they want you to buy their product...not mix and match between the two companies. And secondly I have more than one shelf so I'd just do like I've done all along with everything I colect. I just display the various companies on their own shelves.

NO! but then again if jakks came second, i would assume they would try to be as good if not better than mattel was.
