You might wanna do some research, it was pretty much announced that the reason it was tied up is because the divorce settlement. You notice WWE rarely if ever acknowledged him until the settlement was over. You cant blame Jakks for this one no matter how much you want to bash them. Its just simple timing. March/April 2009? Its been said that it takes 6 months for the scanning process not to mention you have to get WWEs approval, Steamboats approval probably legal things to finalize with Bonnie to make sure the money goes Richies funds. It could easily take a year or more. Once the divorce was finalized it was probably too late for Jakks yet Mattel has had a very long time to work on it. |

When I first started my Mattel collection, I said I was going to only focus on modern-day figures; but after seeing this Steamboat figure, I doubt that I'll remain true to that statement, bring on the Legends Line! ;D
I only wish Hulk Hogan wasn't in TNA because I'd kill to have an Elite Hulk Hogan figure (Red and Yellow modern look).

It's crazy, I planned on only buying the Mattel's that we didn't get Jakks figures for. So I figured I'd be buying Primo, Sheamus, and some others... but had NO idea I'd be picking up a Ricky Steamboat! I'm pretty solidly on Jakks side of the fence... but that Steamboat figure is awesome!
