between the Road Warriors and this Steamboat Mattel have started out the gate brilliantly, the fact that these are elite style is just magnificent too.
I had said in the past I thought a Mattel Classic line would be the bulk of my purchases(due to my disinterest in todays "stars")and I was right

That carding looks fantastic. Also, Steamboat looks brilliant as is the accessory. Very impressive.

like I said before, this head on a Jakks body will make me very happy agreed 100 percent...i guess the legal issues with his ex wife which prevented jakks from making him cleared up now

it looks great but steamboat is boring, never a fan... Wait, Steamboat was boring but you have The Mountie in your av and "Ballin" in your sig??? wow dont sweat him he propally part of the "universe"...lol Steamboat's matches with savage, rude and flair are g8 examples of how wrestling has to step it way up to recapture what a great match really is... Steamboat never needed a table or other gimmick in mid match to hold fans intrest

sorry guys let me rephrase that, ive been watching wrestling for 22 yearsive seen steamboat flair, savage, etc... as in in ring competitor he is top of the line he revolutionized the industry and is very under rated when i say he is boring i mean he really lacked personality outside the ring and personally ive always been a fan of heels and growing up was never interested in steamboats storylines, that being said he was a great wrestler and the figure itself looks awesome

dude ive been watching wrestling since i was 3 and im almost 21 so im only a few years behind you and while i can agree that steamboats personality wasnt always there i can say that his in ring talent was
i am very excited for this figure and tbh when i saw it i nearly freakin had a heart attack lol
now if we only had flair to go with him but since he is in TNA looks like a no no

This is the first Mattel figure that I've been really impressed with. The head, jacket, and accessory will look fantastic on the Jakks Steamboat body that I made.

Why does he come with an Alligator? I believe he brought one out when he was in a feud with Jake The Snake.

This figure made my day...After seeing the Hawk, Animal, Dusty, Slaughter and now moc Steamboat....I am going to be a die hard collector of the Legends line. I hope we get a projected release date soon. Steamboat is flawless.

I am impressed with the Steamboat figure. I will purchase two of these. The other Legends figures are great but I think Mattel can do a better job with Hawk and Animal's head sculpt/scan. I am hoping for a tighter Road Warriors final product. Dusty is incredible, I love the scars on his forehead. I also think the MDM EG figure gear could be better. The suit is too bulky and resembles a cheap jump suit not a million dollar tailored suit.

Why does he come with an Alligator? It's a dragon. This is the second board I've seen this happen on. Sweet.
