These are way better than what Jakks can come up with. Finally I can get some lucha figured. Hopefully they can make some classic ones like El Santo or Mil Mascaras.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for a release date on these. They look amazing and are probably going to mix with either mattel or jakks fairly well. Can't wait too see who else is in the lineup. I also hope RSC will be selling these.

That is not the WCW origional La Parka, The La Parka we all saw in WCW who is the origional one left AAA in 2000 to go to CMLL and had to change his name since AAA had the rights, so he was forced to change it to L.A. Park when he was in CMLL. When he was in WCW still in a contract with AAA, AAA made a character called La Parka Jr., when La Parka left AAA to go to CMLL in 2000, La Parka Jr. was renamed to La Parka, and thats who that figure is of. Anyways of wrestling history, these look like RA figures, which i love! Thanks for the 10 year old news. |

These look AMAZING. I will be buying whatever Playmates makes and am glad I no longer have to pay shipping prices to schemebay for Mexican wrestling figures... Or, you know, figures for wrestling I actually LIKE. VIVA LA LUCHA!

Does anyone know when Playmates will showcase their figures for the year at toyfair. Second I would not get my hopes up to high on the figures. They look awesome and amazing, but AAA was suppose to release a wrestling game and nothing has been said about the game again.
I hope we get a Mesias, I have been waiting for him forever. Also a Cibernetico figure would be awesome & octagon.

I love these and look way better than anything Mattel currently has.
I do hope TRU carries these. I will for sure buy some of them. I hope they are about the same size as the JAKKS RA figures.

They do seem to have arms like Jakks WWE RA but i looked closer and it looks like they have ball jointed hips, ball jointed anles, shoulder, and all the basic movement and look to be way better than RA, Also even though the arms look RA the open hand on the Dr Wagner Jr isnt open like an RA open hand.

AAA is doing everything they can to become the number 1 promotion. With all the heat Konan gets he is doing a real nice job for them in Mexico. They have a video game coming out as well. I will defitnetly be getting these and Im hoping we get a Mesias & Cibernetico. I'm sure they will. All I know is that Wagner will be mine, that man is fantastic and the figure looks perfect. |

Wow, those look great. Playmates has been the suck with their most recent offerings (Star Trek movie and Terminator: Salvation), but these are really looking good.
They look like they will be closer to Jakks scale, but I may get a few of them.
They don't have RA-style arms. These arms have "elbros" which are elbows that are connected via a pin that allows rotation.
Also, is El Dandy in AAA? 'Cause if he is, I am sooo getting El Dandy.
