Well, they weren't lying when they said that there have been a bunch of changes from '09. It's going to take a little getting used to, most definitely. That said, though, I'm having a ing blast. The full game should be an absolute must-have for any MMA fan, SOOOO glad I pre-ordered and paid for this in full back when I had the money.

I looooove the changes they've made to the game, I do kinda wish they had the tutorial in the demo like last year so I could get used to the new things in this game. But I do love how they've changed the Mui Thai guys, the clinching seems a lot more awesome this time around and I love the way the striking feels now too.

I wish I hadn't downloaded the demo.
I want the full game now, and don't have the cash to blow on it.
Someone send me $50 so I can buy it

Nice leg kick.
I really like the improvements so far, I also like how sometimes your opponent will still be knocked out during the post fight arm raising.

EVERYTHING seems improved. The way strikes connect, the way blood flows, the way fighters move, THE CAGE CONTROL!, Bruce Buffer's movements, the announcers are MUCH better, the introductions seem more real, post fight they have their walk out gear and the damage is more visable from the fight.. I noticed sweat and blood smearing is more visable and graphicly, everything just looks more finished. The ground game is MASSIVELY improved. I cannot wait until the game launches. Luckily, I have a birthday in July, so hopefully someone will get it for me.

Isn't there, for lack of a better term, a booker mode, where you just book each PPV as they come and meet fighter demands, etc.

Can someone help me? I haven't gotten my confirmation e-mail yet, and without it, I don't have access to the site. Hence, no code. Is there another way to get it?

I'm really liking all of the new improvements they've put on the game. Has anyone else had a hard time raising up from the mount when you are on top? I don't know how many times I've been there & I have yet to do it once.

I hate how frequent KOs are. It seems like weaker strikes can even knock you out now.

Games a lot more complicated than last year. What really stuck out for me was the clinch game. Last year you just has to tap forward to transition between over/under, double etc. this year is all semi circle transitions in the clinch and when playing against an expert cpu or another player, the constant transition and block/reverse patterns can make that part of the game real confusing.

I completely agree about the clinch game. It's gonna take some time to get used to that. The thing I hate about it is that, against the higher difficulty levels, I'm only able to get in a few shots in the collar-tie or muay thai clinch, most of the time I literally only land one punch, before the CPU starts to do major transitions, and then before I can blink the CPU has me in a position where he can slam me to the ground. It's pretty annoying.

There are a few things to get used to, like the clinch, and all the new transitions. But still plays awesome.
For the mount, you don't raise up all the way at first, you have to make that first transtion where you push him off a bit, then you can start wailing, the more you land, the more into position you get.

Yea I picked up on that, but I've only pushed up a bit once, 99% of the time I end up moving off him into side control.

Try to remember that posturing up from MOUNT DOWN is now a MINOR transition. In the '09 game I believe posturing up into full mount was a major transition.
To add a bit to a previous post: The only thing I actually find myself disliking is the clinch game. It's just way too easy to move from single-collar tie to...well, to any sort of disadvantageous position. I used to straight murder people from the single collar tie by mixing it up with straight punches, kicks, then following it up with uppercuts to score the TKO. Now I'll be lucky to get in a couple of shots before I'm immediately reversed and put into a position where I can get slammed and put on my back.
The Muay Thai Clinch is a bit better at allowing me to score those dreaded clinch uppercuts I love so much, but still, the loss of an effective single-collar tie that doesn't involve constantly trying to block grapples is pretty annoying.
