So i call walmart for the wwe toys. they look and they say we just stalked them on the shelves. so i ask them if they have matt hardy and then they say no actualy we are all out of action figures. that pissed me off because its obvious they did. i just whent to walmart. and guess what. they had a whole stock of elite 2.
Very few people who work at stores like Wal-Mart & Target care enough to know specifics about action figures. I just go to the store and see what they got.

yeah i used to work at kmart and unless someone was a full timer no one really gave a crapabout their job. they'd know if we had something but wouldn't know specifics.
That happened to me too. I called Target about 2 weeks ago to see if they had the elite series 2 figures in stock, and they said no. I didnt believe that because everyone on here was finding that series of elite figures at Target, so I went to Target that week, and surely enough, they had the whole series.

unless you talk to the actual dept person .. they probably dont know and more than likely dont care. as stated unless they are full time and work that dept , you arent going to get the answer you want. i work at a small store. full time manager , i know what we have on stock , but if you were to ask our 3rd key manager who works 15 hours , he doesnt even know ... so its usually just easier to try to contact the dept manager or just go into the store...
I used to work at wal-mart and i stocked the wwe figures a few times most of the time when someone would call the toy dept. one of my other coworkers would tell people we had the item when we really diden't ( i only know this because i would be the person the customers complained to)
I call stores a lot and very rarely get someone good. One time i called and they said they didn't have basic 2 and went the next day and they barely had any left. No swagger who i really wanted. i called one time and no one answered in toys and the front desk asked what i wanted and i said the wresling figure jack swagger and she said no and hung up fast. Toysrus is the best place to call IMO
Most people are just lazy. I used to work for a department store and people would call and specifically ask for me, cause I always took time to help them find the wrestlers.
Sometimes I get lucky and get a good person to check for me. Two weeks ago when I called Target the lady let me know all of Elite 2 was in stock; I asked her to read me the names on the card, and she did. So I ended up getting down there to get my wants. For the most part calling stores is a disaster though.
I've asked a bunch of TRU people to check the computer (nicely) I add and they just say no. Thank god this one lady was cool, so that's how I got my Adrenaline 37 Jeff Hardy and Undertaker.

9 times out of 10 a floor associate isn't anywhere near a computer when they get a call. Better off going in and talking to them face to face, much easier.
