So i call walmart for the wwe toys. they look and they say we just stalked them on the shelves. so i ask them if they have matt hardy and then they say no actualy we are all out of action figures. that pissed me off because its obvious they did. i just whent to walmart. and guess what. they had a whole stock of elite 2. lol...its very possible it was me....i hate when customers call for things...get your butt to the store...theyre never closed. |

never Wal-Mart,cause i just don't bother calling....but TRU many times...
in the fall of 1997,they had a Star Wars exclusive AT-AT...called Allentown TRU,1st "associate" said they don't sell SW stuff,and hung up! 2nd one told me they were all sold out...smelled and sounded fishy,so i drove the hour there and "SURPRISE!" there were 6 on the shelf...
last March,was looking for the TRU-exclusive Unmasked Rorschach figure from Watchmen...called up,yep,they have about 12 on the floor...took me a half hour to get there,and none on the pegs,nothing...asked at the desk,said they were still there,not sold,in the computer...went to look in the back,and said the case is probably in the back stockroom somewhere,but it wasn't her job to look for it....nobody else would help me,either...
my son wanted this TRU-exclusive (sensing a trend here,eh?) Playmobil Egyptian Pyramid for this past X-Mas...it was the ONLY thing he wanted...called every day,went there a few time too,never in stock...finally one day i call and,YES! they have them in stock! 4 to be exact...i flew there,made the half hour trip to Wilkes-Barre in about 18 minutes...and...nothing,none on the shelf...again to customer service,again computer says none were sold,again to the back stockroom,and again they can't find them anywhere...
just....Jesus...just amazing!

You know, not everyone cares that much about an action figure as much you and I do. I wouldn't really bother calling up unless the particular store specialises in toys alone. If I were a Wal-mart staff, the last thing I would want is some random guy calling me up to enquire about some random toy.
