Hey was just on WWE.com and saw that they too have toyfare coverage, just was wondering why they never pushed Jakks like they are Mattel? I understand that this is a new contract and ovbiously they wanna push hard on it, but why not when they had Jakks before they signed the contracts with Mattel.

I think WWE has a good relationship with them and they want to make money.

Mattel is a huge, and well-respected corporate partner. Jakks is Jakks.

Jakks & WWE had some major legal issues, and WWE just wanted out of the contract asap. So I assume that has a lot to do with it.

Mattel is a huge, and well-respected corporate partner. Jakks is Jakks. Mattel is a huge corporate partner that has a reputation in the toy industry for being shady, greedy and destructive. They have good lawyers so if they can't outsell you they will sue you into oblivion or just buy you out. They also have a reputation for making greatly detailed figures that suffer from odd defects as we have seen so far.

Well, it's only been in the last year or two that WWE has been putting EVERYTHING they do on their site... Part of the globalization and modernization of the company I guess... They started being on outs with Jakks by then.
Plus, I'm pretty certain they've done toyfair stuff with Jakks before too.
