There is a group of bats that live in my tree in the garden, they seem to come and go at points through the year, its fantastic to watch them flying around.

Some people had managed to attack one near my area a few years back. My mum found it and brought it back to the house and called the RSPCA it died however. It really does look like an innocent mouse with wings upclose.

The bat isn't real. He's just an urban legend.

I can say I had one lol. One night a bat flew into my place through the balcony door and I thought it was a bird since it was dark and I was lazy I figured I would let my cat; Mullet have some fun.
Have you ever heard a bat scream in terror lol. Anyways it was stuck in the stair case at my place and when I did figure it was something other than a bird I went to investigate. That poor bat was mad but I was able to shoo him down to the main landing where the bat landed in my shoe screamed at me until i grabbed the shoe with the bat in it and threw it outside....
Stupid bat.
On a side note I am glad to be outta that place. You would not believe the run of bad luck I had back in 2006...

Theres bats around all the time where I live. Fruit bats and the larger varieties. We throw sultanas in the air and the fruit bats swoop and catch them.

Yeah, just once actually. I was at a friends house and a bat got in. We spent the next two plus hours hunting it down and trying to get rid of it. My friend accidentally killed it in a panic when she thought it was attacking her. She felt horrible afterward, but it was an interesting night.
They're hideous creatures, really.

when i lived in minesota we got like 6 bats in the house, not all at one time but they just loved my house. The first one we had flew in my face and all my mom kept telling me that i was being over dramatic and it was just a big bug, but the next day the bat was flying around and she called the police to come get the bat out of the house. it was funny as hell! i totally miss her. RIP mom
