Hey i stopped collecting around classic series 12/13 so you will have to excuse me for not being up to date, but what i was wondering is when was it announced there was going to be a Mattel classic line? and when are the figures due for release?

Yeah they say fall.
We found out this past Friday that they were doing them when pics of Austin, LOD, Sgt Slaughter, Dusty Rhodes and Steamboat appeared.
Then over the weekend we saw the rest of them; Funk, Snuka, Roberts, Rude and Sheik.

The legends are like the modern elites are. I wish they would do a basic legend line but I can't complain. Jakks never got steamboat and Mattel gets him right away. Crazy. I am going to collect the legends to go with my modern basics.

I am going to collect the legends to go with my modern basics. Basic legends can easily be placed into the WrestleMania Heritage line. I wouldn't mind seeing some WM Heritage two packs at some point. |
