LOTR line being RI is great news. YES! RI for LOTR is very good news. Other positive information included NWA style wrestlers including the possibility of Surfer Sting in LOTR Series 1. The Hogan release in Series 2 could be in black jeans and shirt (since Kovall mentioned Hogan's attire will be stunning and something we have not seen before). The interview was okay. Mr. Kovall was prepared but there were some funny gaffs. I am at ease to a certain extent but I am still frustrated by the Toy Fair showing. Jakks is releasing TNA DI Series 1 in less than 4 months and they did not provide any moc images. Also, it looks like Jakks is using the UFC style carding for the LOTR line, which in my opinion looks hideous. I also can not believe chase figures are not going to be introduced until 2011! In addition, Kovall mentioned accessories will slowly make their way into the line. In my opinion, Jakks should have moved up the release date on all the lines.

This is good. He also made it clear that Sting and Steiner would be NWA versions. This is also quite good. I think we all kind of need to forget those long lists of people we wanted to see for the NWA line. I can't really see them making an Eddie Gilbert, Carlos Colon, or Dick Slater. I just don't think it's going to happen at this point.
I'm taking what I can get. Remember, these are just going to be additions to our already stacked CS collections.

what's the I stand for now? RI stands for Regular Impact now, according to what Jeremy said at the Fall Toy Fair. And DI stands for Deluxe Impact.

Good news that the Legends line will be RI.
However I have to say I'm kind of disappointed that the Knockouts are going to be DI. I was hoping they would go with the idea they had of doing them in a separate line. That way they could have done them all in RI instead.

Sheesh, you'd think they've never seen a Deluxe Aggression Umaga figure before.
