Hey I just ordered my 3rd Mattel figure. I ordered Elite Series 1 Rey Mysterio and I will post pics when he arrives. My question is this, what do you guys think of this figure?

I hate Rey Mysterio, but I do think that was the best figure in Elite Series 1 in terms of mobility

kids love rey, but you have to admit the guy for his size is an AMAZING wrestler! as far as the fig goes.... i think its the best out yet personally as far as rey goes

cool but if you order i usualy order from newer sets like series 2 and 3. Well here in England we only have Sets 1 & 2. It says 3 is due to come out in April/May  But I only started collecting Mattel a couple of weeks ago because I used to be a Mattel hater but recently I think Mattel is the best and waaaaaay better than Jakks. So I haven't had much time to get series 1. |

I LOVE this fig. Not a big Rey mark, myself, but i do appreciate him. Hands down the best Rey fig ever IMO. the accessories are great too. He might be just a tad on the small side (even for Rey) but it's amazing overall. good purchase.

Being a huge Mysterio fan I can say I love this figure. As Billy Shogunn said it's the best Mysterio figure ever made. Also having his shirt and removable entrance mask makes it even better.

As others said it's quite possibly the best Mysterio figure to date and was my first Mattel purchase. Great pickup.

I love the figure. I think it is his best figure so far. Hopefully mattel pumps out more elite mysterios in the future.

Its one of the hardest to get from series 1, thats for sure. Not just cause hes popular but its actually a very good figure too. The mask thing is really cool and there is great detail on the throwover. Superstar scale at its finest too.

I like it. I'd say the half mask makes it really special. At first when I scored my huge Mattel haul in late-December, I saw all of Elite 1 and had passed on Rey as I wasn't sold on it right off the bat. After a few people posted pics I really knew I needed to get one. I ended up getting one a week or so later.

Like others have stated, it probably the best Rey that has been done yet. I have it displayed with the rest of my Elites.
I personally like the Basic 2 one better (just because of the blue), but the Elite 1 is a great collector grade figure.

^ Dude your pictures are amazing. The Predator stuff is off the chart, but you really bring out the detail in these mass market figures.

I bet you his will look just the same as yours.  I saw some Mattel figures in Target today. Perhaps I should take a pic. of them and make a whole new thread to spread the news. I mean, they did have Repaint Cena and Jericho there.  |
