So Survivor Series is PPV2. That's gonna upset all the "Survivor Series isn't PPV2! I say so!" people.

Wow, awesome interview! We actually got a lot of info.
Painted title belts as early as Series 4? I expected that in like Q4. I hope they give Christian his ECW title in that 2-pack coming up with Tommy Dreamer.
Their scaled ring is already done! Can't wait to see it.
Sheamus will "probably" see release before the end of the year? Mattel gotta try to get these things more up-to-date. Outside of the PPV series we're what, 8 months behind? I don't mind too much since Jakks pretty much crapped out figures in 2009 so now is the chance to get attires of guys who got cost-cutted to death, but someone like the WWE champion should take high priority.
Legends #2 lack some of their accessories on display, so it looks like there's a good chance to see Rude with his robe. He mentioned bringing in possible posters in the future with the stylized artwork on the box! That is very cool. Mystery guy #6...part of me wonders if it's Warrior to go along with that Rude. Guess we'll have to wait for Comicon to see.
Love that they're doing some mystery chasers. Jakks did that with RA24 Sabu (blue/tan), and I thought it was a good idea. I guess that's what the Jericho/Batista was. That's an excellent way to pump out two similar attires in one swing. We could get Jericho with his modern blue designs and then a variant with purple or orange designs. Even something that simple gives the collector choice, and given how fast moving WWE is sometimes we miss out on cool gear. Glad to hear this.
Arena coming this Fall. I wonder if they're going all out with it as a collector piece or if it's going to be more basic to save on costs? I'd love for them to break this arena set down piece by piece - i.e. one set is a stage, month later one set is the ring, month later one set is the crowd/arena setup. I'd have a much easier time laying down $40 a piece instead of like $100+ for the whole thing. If it's good I hope the market takes to it, because stuff like this only comes around so often. It's a big risk.
Accessories are being introduced sparingly in the future. That is absolutely the best way to go. We don't need random cookie sheets and steel pipes and stuff. If a guy could use an accessory and it makes sense, give it to him. Or if there's a guy who might struggle at retail throw in a chair or table or something relevant to everyday WWE programming. Very intelligent decision by Mattel - I don't even want accessories unless they're meaningful. Budget that saved money into deco or something more practical.
This is gonna be a fun year.

I'm bout sick of my questions never getting ask here. I've been on the forum for 9 years! Ya ask the same questions and dont pick new ones...come on! And what do i have to do to get a job workin for mattel? Maybe fill my house with figs,LOL. Tim needs to cut it back to two cups of coffee. Lol, that they keep throwin the scale thing back in jakks face. Enrique seems like a cool guy. that's cool how PJ talks about looking at fan pics. Flex Force new technology seems pretty cool. A great and very informative interview. Seems like lots of good stuff coming. Online exclusives? sweet. I fell asleep during the Jakks interview. Mattel is really stepping up!!!

While I agree that it would nice to have the WWE Champion as soon as possible we have to consider that 1) it was pretty unexpected and Sheamus probably wasn't on Mattels radar for this year and 2) they have been working on tons of stuff for the launch and all this stuff for Toy Fare that was in the works long before Sheamus started working out with Triple H. I totally agree about the accessories...no need for a bunch of junk. Like you said, use the budget to cost out better deco.

- Seeing that Mattel is going to reveal the sixth L2 figure at Comicon, one would assume that it going to be a big name. You don't wait until the biggest pop culture event of year to tell the world you are making a Koko B Ware figure. At least I hope that's not the case. I imagine anyone other than Savage or Warrior will be a disappointment to most. - I like the idea of posters of the Legends card backing. I wouldn't mind some of the non-legends as well. - While I won't buy more than one or two, the child in me likes the Flex Force voice figures.

I couldn't watch the videos here at work, but I read every post and it all sounds great. Can't wait to see the belts & the 6th classic figure.
I love this company!

Whoo-hoo! They asked one of my questions! My daughter will be thrilled to know that they like the idea of a WWE Diva/Barbie cross-over! It's like the best of both world for her. Anyway, I was also glad to hear about the championship belts, legends information, camera men, etc.

A ton of great info! Can't wait to find out who #6 is in the Legends Series 2 Lineup. I bet its Savage or Warrior. As Enrique said, "The Best is yet to come." I didn't know Enrique jumped ship to Mattel because last I saw an interview a few months ago as he was the leader of the Jakks UFC Line lol. And I was surprised to see in the 5th video he answered one of my questions!
