It's been a while since I've watched any old footage of Guerrero, but he is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. While looking for Eddie stuff I came across this promo. For once, it was the full promo, and not just The Rock. Comic greatness.

Agreed, actually I'd been thinking about this not too long ago. I guess its just to be expected that once a great wrestler is lost you kinda think about his best moments. When he was alive, I would've always said I liked him, but I wouldn't go as far to say I was a major fan. But hell, looking back, I was way into what he did, and I can't ever remember not liking what he'd done in the WWF/E. The Radicalz, his European runs, the hilarious Chyna feud, Los Guerreros, US Title runs, his championship, just everything.
I guess I'm finally just getting around to calling myself a hardcore Guerrero fan.

When he was alive, I never really was a fan. I guess I just never got to appreciate what he did until he died.

Since he passed, it feels like there is something really big missing in wrestling. Not only did he have the passion but he had the skills to be the best. You saw that in every single one of his matches. Can't say that about many guys out there today

I definitely miss Eddie being around. He was just one of those characters I couldn't get tired of. Even though he had his title reigns, it was a shame he passed in the midst of "his time".
I'm so disconnected from the WWE that I don't know about their dvd releases. Has there been a recent "Best of" for him? I'd honestly buy that in a heartbeat.

I'll always miss him. I find watching his stuff bittersweet, in that he was so good at what he did, I'll get so wrapped up in watching a match of his or a promo, for a second, I'll almost forget that he's gone. So sad, the guy was one of a kind, taken way too soon.

I've been an Eddie fan since I began watching in 2000/2001. His 2005 heel run was awesome.

I've been an Eddie fan since I began watching in 2000/2001. His 2005 heel run was awesome. Definitely. It's ironic, 'cause even though he was obviously physically deteriorating in 2005, I consider that year to have been his prime, definitely as far as character work goes. Remember the initial heel promo the week after he finally turned on Rey? Just a work of art.

I think the mic work of Eddie's on this Night was where Vince may have first pondered the thought of Eddie becoming a big time face in the future. I mean, he basically was able to stand toe to toe mic wise with one of the funniest mic men of all time - The Rock.

You know I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie Guerrero in 2001 at Wrestlemania 7 backstage after he had defeated Test to win the European title I think the second time. You know he had come over with Saturn,Benoit, and Boris Malenkos kid from WCW.He was some high flyer let me tell you reminded me of the legendary Antonino Rocca from my heyday. It was a real honor meeting Gory Guerrero.Sorry if I'm getting a little sentimental here........
