While at one time it was planned to be an all X-Division show; that is no longer the case for the TNA Destination X PPV.
The PPV, which will air on March 21st, will feature the return of Ultimate X and other X-Division themed matches, but the current plan is to not have an all X-Division show.

I'm pretty sure the original commercials claimed it was "an all X-Division Pay-Per-View". Watching the newest one, on TNA Today... it just mentions "the young guns of the TNA Wrestling, take center stage" and "the return of the Ultimate X".
So, it seems that the correction has already been made. Either way, with most of the focus on the X-Dision... you can't go wrong.

Either way I'll be watching. I really hope they give Jay Lethal something to do.

Thank the Lord above! TNA does not have a credible X division at this point in time, anything other than Ultimate X is not gonna be a hit.

You wanna tell me something, like: Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Sabin Daniels vs. Chris Sabin Brian Kendrick vs. Daniels ... none of those would be a "big hit"? C'mon now. - Triple S

Just because internet marks would cream themselves doesen't mean the rest of the world would. Kendrick is great and im a HUGE fan, but he hasn't gotten any mic time yet.

Really "Von Erich Claw"? Alex Shelley vs. Doug Williams. That'll put butts in seats and eyes on the screen. I wouldn't watch that match for free, let alone pay to see it. Shelley is a solid wrestler but won't be anything beyond a tag team guy. Willams is great and just needs more promo time.

Someone like Kendrick doesn't NEED mic time, to turn heads. He does all of his work in the ring. Kendrick has never really been a big talker, yet most of the REAL wrestling community know of him.
As for mainstream fans, this is more of a TASTE and a test... to see how they welcome it. I'm sure if this sells well, Hogan and TNA will rethink the use of the X-Division on iMPACT! and other Pay-Per-Views.

SG, seriously man. If you're going to reply, make it a useful reply... that will continue the discussion/debate. Not spam. Thanks, man.

He's right. Kendrick, Shelley, Sabin, nor Williams have really drawn money or ratings.
However, they haven't really been given the opportunity yet. Once Daniels gets his rightful main event spot ( Who am I kidding? Haha. ), the next thing I wanna see is Sabin return to the trunks, the "Hail Sabin!" gimmick and be pushed the main event. Sabin was a part of some of the better TNA matches, before we even saw the likes of Joe, Shelley, Lethal, etc.
EDIT: Oh god, he deleted his posts. Guess this discussion is done, for the most part.

A strong heel character. Both guys lack the sheer size mainstream companies like and that will always keep them for having long term title runs, but both should have their spots. Sabin can be a great babyface X division wrestler imo, i miss the alien trunks he used to have.

I just miss him ACTUALLY using a move set and then some. Seems like since he aligned himself with Shelley, it's like a circus routine. Very Cena-esque.
Sabin is one of TNA's better performers, when he's by himself. I think with Shelley needing time off soon, now would be the perfect time to bring back solo Sabin.
As for Daniels, it's no secret I could very well be one of his top supporters on this forum. I mean October of 2007... that hasn't even left my sig since. There's nothing more I want in TNA right now, than for Daniels/Styles to have a modernized version of their original feud. Those two have so much chemistry, in the ring AND on the mic. I would just love a feud with more depth and options. I'd give it a good 4-5 months, maybe even 6. Those two could make it work.

SG's a nostalgia mark. He only likes things that are older than him. Hence his sig and his dislike for the X-Division.

SG's a nostalgia mark. He only likes things that are older than him. Hence his sig and his dislike for the X-Division. I think you mean me, not SG. To say i only like things older than me is just stupid, seeing as my favorite TNA wrestlers are Kaz and AJ. Just because i don't think todays X division is luke warm at best, doesen't mean i '' dislike the X division'' in general. Considering i ordered every weekly ppv just to see Kid Kash, Kazarian, Matt Bentley, Sabin, and AJ. So people should relax and referring to me as an old school fan. Sure i prefer that era, but i love alot of what i see today.

I'd like to see X division guys in all the matches. Not only them though. Aside from Ultimate X they could have MCMG go for the tag belts, AJ/Pope for the World title, and a couple of other matches along those lines. It would work pretty well, I think.
