Miz post blog on Daniel Bryan

He just said everything I've been saying since Tuesday.

You pretty much just justified everything that the Miz said.

What the Miz wrote there is the gospel truth. You can only make it so far on wrestling skill, you have to evolve to fir Sports Entertainment. The Miz WAS horrible when he first came in but god damn has he improved a lot. He's not a guy from the real world on WWE anymore, he is a guy in WWE that use to be in the Real World. Hopefully Danielson learns a few things from him, although I'd rather see Regal mentor him, Miz works too

Miz does make some points in this blog. I hate to agree with him or side with him, but he does. HOWEVER, its just down right laughable to think Miz could be the one to teach Bryan Danielson anything about wrestling or even being a sports entertainer. Up until recently, Miz dressed like a ing bedazzled homeless person. He was uncreative and did nothing but ride the coat tails of John Morrison. Yes, Miz has grown. But IMO, Miz belongs on NXT as a contestant. Regardless if WWE put the US title and/or the tag titles.....does not make a WWE superstar. Lets face it, Great Khali was a world champion at one time.

Miz is also ignorant if he believes that Danielson has only worked in front of 100 people in a bingo hall. Or has The Miz conveniently forgotten about Danielson working New Japan and Pro Wrestling NOAH? Or perhaps the Miz does not know what the that is. I mean, really......the dude was on The Real World running around with a foam ing belt and thought a faux hawk was stylish.

Miz, you are a WWE superstar. You are on tv. You do contribute to the product. But do not forget that had you not been on the Real World.......you would not be in WWE today. And do not forget that Bryan Danielson can wrestle circles around you.

On a side note......as great as Danielson is inside the ring, I fail to see him becoming a WWE star. He will land on Raw or Smackdown eventually. But I give him no more than 9 months on the roster before he is cut and/or given the "Lance Storm Dancing Gimmick". Miz is right....Danielson does not look like a WWE Superstar. He does not have the personality of one. He is awkward and goofy and appeals, as of today, only to the internet smart mark community. Besides, the dude is super white and will immediately be compared to Sheamus in that regards.

hogan is the same way, the crowd loved him for interacting with them. He has four moves in his set and his finisher is a leg drop... It is about getting the crowd to either love or hate you and if they are indifferent to you... Enjoy the ride while you can because it will not last long.

What I love about this post is, you pretty much agree with Miz while trying to disagree with him. WWE doesn't make wrestling it's number one priority.. If you think they do, you need to wake up. It never has. Not in the 80s, not in the 90s, not in the 00s, not now. They've ALWAYS put character above ability (Hulk comes to mind) and why? Because that's what sells tickets. Don't believe me? Check ROH's ticket sales and compare them to WWE's, they aren't even close I bet. Like it or not, Miz has buckets of charisma. Bryan does too, but on a WWE scale? Nobody knows yet.

Point being, WWE and ROH base their "main eventers" on two completely different aspects of the performer.

Exactly.

I do think that Danielson needs no wrestling training just more so on his character and backstage stuff. But overall this was all true in my book.

Come on, WWE is thinking that this will be a ratings grabber. Miz calling out his rookie before the show even starts, makes me wonder how they will interact.
