I would've offered too give it too him for $600. Personnally I think the auto will make it go higher for some but lower for others. Depends if 2 people willing too pay a lot would get in a bidding war.

The guy that has this HARDY..is a HUGE collector and auotgraph hound..along with THIS hardy he got I beleive 4 other figures signed..he also has almost every UMF figure signed..I beleive there is NOT a single WWE preforner he has not met and gotten SEVERAL autos from..
I bashed him on the SPAWN boards when I heard it sold and it was him, but to add this hardy to his collection is really SWEET..
again if you knew of him and his collection, you would NOT be surprised he bought it..

I don't know how I would feel about him writing WWE on the figure.

It does give it a "part of history" feel though I think. Like in 20 years "this is from when Jeff Hardy was a free agent and angry with WWE for allowing CM Punk to speak negatively towards him for pending drug charges" type of thing.

Almost any inscription is cool in my books. I heard that someone once asked Rene Dupree for an autograph and Rene said sure. He drew a giant X on the guy's program page, handed it back, laughed and walked away.

I'd have tried to make a quick buck off hardy with that figure, he probably could have sold it to him for a grand or something.

$600 is alot of money to most of us. No kidding. It is a lot of money, but to me at least, making someone who has been such a large part of my personal entertainment and enjoyment happy is worth a lot more than $600.

The fact Jeff was there making money wouldn't make me wanna give it to him anymore.

Theres obviously a few different ways to look at this. Im fine with it being personally signed and all, not too keen on jeffs outburst though or the writing covering like 80% of the box.

Ive been talking to a collector dealer who owns a store by me who speaks with Mattel/Mcfarlane/etc manufacturers cuz he says he can get anything, so I asked him about the Jeff figure and after a couple weeks of him making calls, he says its gunna really tough because only like less then 20 made it out into distribution...so there are at least that many somewhere outside the factory

...is it wrong of me to think the lot of you who wold have tried selling it to jeff are dicks? I mean, the guy has only busted his ass for... how many years for your entertainment? I guess you really CAN put a price on anything. Anyone willing to spend more than half a grand on an action figure is a headcase in my book anyway. But if you spend 600 bucks on a figure and then give it away, that's just the icing on the cake. I can only see someone with a deep love/respect for Jeff Hardy or Professional wrestling as a whole doing such a thing. Hardy was paid salary year in and year out to do what he did for the fans, money he's probably still sitting on to this day. Mick Foley is my favorite wrestler, and even if I had a figure of his that was 1/1 or something there is still no way I would just give it to him. It's one thing to maybe make a custom figure of a guy and give it to them, because that takes little money and some effort. But to just hand an asset worth $600 dollars to a guy who money probably means very little to, is foolish. And you'd be lucky to get an autograph and a t-shirt out of it. I have no emotional connection to pro-wrestlers, Hardy was a beast back in the day and was one of my favorites through out middle school too, but to the average person on here (adambomb i don't know if you have a good paying job or just a big heart)600 bucks is a huge hit, and even knowing you did something good like that just isn't worth it to me in the end.

^ 600$ is nothing if its for something your passionate about...whats the difference between spending 600$ in a year or 2 for a figure here and there then in one shot on a super rare one...the guy obviously makes a good living. 600$ is a paycheck for him...so he works a week for an elite jeff hardy lol not a bad deal if you ask me....its another thing though if you make pennies and have to scratch and claw to make ends meet.
I would have continued to bid on this if I had known what I know now about it

Yeah I mean I can pull up to $1,100 without taxes taken out a pay check, to me though $600 is just too much for an action figure, they'll never be anything more to me than a display piece or something to play around with.
But I understand there's people that would pay big money for a figure. I'm the same way with shoes, and could justify spending a few hundred on a nice pair of nikes, so i see where you're coming from.
