Mac OS X. I just love everything about it, and I hope one day I own a computer with it. ![:(](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/sad.gif)

Windows 7. I've liked what I've used with OSX, but it's not worth the Apple tax. Windows 7 gives me many of the features associated with Mac, but for a more reasonable price.

My school gave me Windows 7 for free, so it's kinda hard to beat that deal.

Mac...
Chrome OS could take off for netbooks, mobile devices and even automobiles at some point.
I think Microsoft will be back on top definitively in the next 5 years or so though... they just have too much power behind any product they push and are not going to keep putting out crap, especially when they service business enterprises that hold influence over them

They hold something like a 90% market share. I would say that is on top for sure.

I meant in terms of customer satisfaction.

I used to be such a Mac fan-boy to be quite honest. I wanted a Macbook or an iMac incredibly badly. I got one. I installed Mac OS X: Leopard and I thought it was one of the greatest things ever. Then I ran into the limits of Mac...I couldn't install everything I wanted, I couldn't play games I was interested in, and there were little hardware problems that couldn't be solved with a quick fix like my dear old Acer Extensa 5630Z Laptop.
With Windows 7 now, I can gladly say I've bought into the evil empire, coming over from an evil-er empire Apple, which is Microsoft. I am a Windows fan.

I have windows, but I hate it. I'm currently saving up for a Macbook, so I'd say OSX.

Microsoft has corporate America by the balls. It would take something extremely revolutionary to change that. I don't think Apple even wants to be on top. They are enjoying being trendy, and extremely profitable.
