Brian Kendrick & Amazing Red both win Ultimate X to guarantee a X-Division Title shot at Lockdown Tara def. Daffney to retain the TNA Knockout Championship Motor City Machine Guns def. Generation Me Jeff Jarrett def. Rob Van Dam following interferance from Wolfe, Angle, Anderson & Sting Doug Williams def. Kaz to retain the TNA X-Division Championship Beer Money Inc. def. Matt Morgan & Hernandez after Morgan turns on Hernandez to become the new TNA Tag Team Champions AJ Styles def. Abyss to retain the TNA World Heavyweight ChampionshipLeading to Lockdown:AJ Styles and Ric Flair continue to attack The Pope from behind injuring his leg. Despite doctors orders Pope will still fight AJ Styles at Lockdown for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair continue to argue. Hogan feels Flair doesn’t care about TNA and only wants to do whats best for AJ Styles. Hulk Hogan books a Lethal Lockdown match where Hogan and Flair are captains of each team. Ric Flair begins searching the TNA roster for people he says are the future of TNA. He chooses Mr Anderson, RVD, Desmond Wolfe, & Beer Money Inc. Hogans team slowly comes together as Kurt Angle, Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, Mick Foley, & The Icon Sting. Flairs team seems to all be about themselves making for an awkward team. Hogans on the other hand is willing to help each other however most of them are not a fan of Hulk Hogan. Now at Lockdown these two teams will go head to head but which team can work together well enough to pick up the win.
Samoa Joe continues to be missing. A week before Lockdown an unknown message of jumbled up letters appeared on Joe’s Twitter. As of right now nobody has been able to find any clues of his where abouts in the jumbled up message.
The British Invasion is almost no more. Brutus Magnus and Rob Terry have been going at it for the past two months but now Rob Terry has had enough so his putting his Global Championship on the line to put an end to Magnus once and for all.
Ever since Angelina returned to TNA and turned on The Beautiful People it seems her and Velvet Sky have been obsessed with hurting the other. Now finally these two will settle it at Lockdown inside the cage where Lacey and Madison will be unable to help Velvet Sky.
Matt Morgan turned on his tag team partner at Destination X because apparently he felt Hernandez thought he was the better man in the team. Morgan said he is the future of TNA and not Hernandez. Hernandez says he has always respected Morgan and his been a close friend but if he thinks he can push Hernandez aside in order to rise to the top then his wrong. Hernandez says that he will be the future of TNA and not Matt Morgan. Now at Lockdown these two will go one on one to prove who is the better man.
After Brian Kendrick and Amazing Red fell down off the cables with the big X at Destination X, both men have been arguing over which one deserves the X-Division Title shot. Finally when the two faced off in order to get the title shot, Kaz would interfere and take out both men. Kaz apparently is not through with the X-Division Champion and he wants his rematch. Because there was no winner Eric Bischoff decided to make it a Fatal Four Way match where Doug Williams will defend against Brian Kendrick, Amazing Red & Kaz.
Tara and Daffney continue to fight. Daffney seems to be obsessed with destroying Tara. Dr. Stevie continues to rush out and try to calm Daffney down. Tara has had enough of the attacks and so at Lockdown the two will be locked in the cage to go all out on each other for the Knockout Title.
A few months ago on January 4th, The Nasty Boys showed up in the Impact Zone. The Nasty Boys felt that they are the greatest tag team in wrestling history while Team 3D may have beaten some great tag teams, they have never beaten the teams that the Nasty Boys have. At Genesis both teams went at it unfortunately The Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart got involved and helped his team to victory. Since then these two teams continue to brawl over which is the better team. Now at Lockdown both teams will go at it without the steel cage. Instead it will be a Falls Count Anywhere, No Disqualification Match. These two teams will surely have an all out brawl but which team will be left standing.

Fatal Four Way Match – TNA X-Division Championship Doug Williams(C) vs. Kaz vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Amazing RedLockdown starts up with some fast paced X-Division action. This was a good match. Started off 2 vs. 2 with Kendrick and Williams helping each other against Kaz & Red. Eventually Kendrick turned on Williams and the match turned to every man for himself. All four men got a few minutes of offense but nobody was able to get the win. In the end of the match all four men climbed up onto the cage. All four men exchanged blows attempting to knock the others off. Kendrick was first to go down as he grabbed Kaz by the head and delivered the Sliced Bread 2 off the cage. This left Red and Williams fighting back and forth on the cage. Amazing Red got the upperhand as he climbed up over Williams. Williams held onto him though and attempted to Powerbomb Red off the cage but he holds on. Red delivers a few punches and decides to sacrifice it all as he goes backwards attempting a Hurricarana off the cage. Williams at the last second grabs the cage as Red flies over and down into the mat hard. With the other three men down Williams climbs up and over the cage!Doug Williams def. Kaz, Kendrick, & Red by escaping the cage to retain the TNA X-Division ChampionshipBackstage Hogan has his Lethal Lockdown team lined up in his office. Hogan says tonight they not only are representing Hogan in the match tonight, they are representing TNA. He says that people like Flair don’t care about this company and are just trying to take it over for themselves. He says that tonight they can put a stop to this. He knows he hasn’t got along with all of them in the past. Hogan stares at Sting when saying this. However its time to put the past behind them and put the future of TNA in front of them. He tells them not to win the match for him but for TNA and for the fans in the arena and watching at home. He wishes them all luck before letting them leave his office! Single Match – TNA Knockout Championship Tara(C) vs. DaffneyThis was a decent match. It started off a back and forth match. Tara had a lot of offense to start off with but couldn’t finish Daffney off. This lead to Daffney being able to fight back and after a while Daffney seemed to snap. She went crazy and slammed Tara against the cage repeatedly. Daffney continued her assault and even bloodied Tara up pretty badly. Dr Stevie ran down to the ring and began to try and persuade Daffney to calm down but she wouldn’t listen. Daffney turned around and Tara quickly pulled Daffney face first into the cage before grabbing her and quickly delivering the Widows Peak, 1…2…3! Tara def. Daffney by pinfall with the Widows Peak to retain the TNA Knockout ChampionshipAfter the match Tara tries to leave the cage but Dr Stevie keeps it shut. Stevie refuses to unlock it as the referee outside tries to get the key back off him. Tara pulls at the door trying to open it but it won’t. Daffney eventually makes it back to her feet and begins to attack the Knockout Champion. Tara is already a bloody mess and needs help but Daffney doesn’t care as she continues her assault. Tara is left unconscious in the ring as Dr. Stevie unlocks the cage door and lets Daffney out. EMTs rush down to the ring to help Tara! Single Match – Hernandez vs. Matt MorganThis was a decent match but nothing special. Morgan mostly dominated. The cage was rarely used which annoyed some of the crowd. Hernandez eventually fought back and did his usual routine. Morgan fought back though and sent Hernandez into the corner where he began delivering his elbows repeatedly. This sent Hernandez down to the mat. While Morgan showed off to the crowd, Hernandez grabbed the top rope and used it to pull himself up onto the turnbuckle. Hernandez jumped off and landed hard on top of Morgan. Hernandez then lifted Morgan up to his feet and set him up for a Border Toss. Morgan however broke out of the hold. As Hernandez turned around he was met with the Carbon Footprint, 1…2…3! Matt Morgan def. Hernandez by pinfall with the Carbon FootprintKevin Nash meets with Hogan and Bischoff in their office. Hogan says that this whole thing with Waltman and Hall needs to stop. He says that they attack them, they attack you and it continues on and on. Hogan says his not having any of it anymore. If they want to continue fighting them then they can hand in their resignation right now. Nash understands and asks Hogan for one more time. Let Hall and Waltman into the Impact Zone tomorrow night on Impact and they will finish it once and for all. Hogan agrees and says they finish it tomorrow or both him and Eric Young are fired! Tag Team Match – Team 3D vs. The Nasty BoysThis was the only match of the night not to feature the steel cage. These two teams just went at it big time. There was no disqualification, no count outs, pin falls count anywhere. These two teams did everything and anything to each other. The fight was completely back and forth with a bunch of weapons being used. The fight ended up going all through the crowd, up onto the stage, back into the crowd, back to the ring and then back up to the stage. By the end of it Brother Ray, Knobs and Sags were all busted open. The Nasty Boys seemed to be getting the upperhand as Jimmy Hart came out to help however he accidently hit Knobs with his helmet. D-Von placed Sags onto a table and then grabbed Knobs where Team 3D went and delivered the 3D on Knobs onto Sags and through the table, 1…2…3! Team 3D def. The Nasty Boys by pinfall after a 3D through a tableFlair is seen backstage with his team. Flair says that each one of them was handpicked because they are the best in TNA and they are the future of this company. Flair says that Hogan has been going insane for years and tonight they can put a stop to him. He says if they want the glory then all they need to do is win. He says to go out there and punish Team Hogan, rip them apart. Flair says to go ou there and do the Nature Boy proud, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They all begin to leave but Anderson comes back. He says that Flair doesn’t need to worry about a thing with him on his team. However once he is done with Team Hogan he will need to be worried about AJ Styles. Since after Lockdown if he is still the TNA World Champion then he will need to watch out because he is coming for his belt. Incase you forget that he will remind you exactly what his name is. Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Anderson. Anderson goes to leave while Flair does not look happy when suddenly he comes back and screams in his face, ANDERSON!!!!!! Single Match – TNA Global Championship Rob Terry(C) vs. Brutus MagnusThis wasn’t the greatest match ever. It was also kept rather short. Rob Terry is improving a lot since his debut in TNA. Rob Terry used his power to throw Brutus around. Eventually Doug Williams came running out and helped distract Terry long enough for Brutus to take control. Brutus kept the big man grounded and beat down on him. This didn’t last long though as The Global Champion fought back against the former Gladiator. Doug Williams tried to help out again but Terry shoved Magnus into him to knock him off the apron. Rob Terry than lifted Brutus onto his shoulders and delivered a Running Powerslam, 1…2…3! Rob Terry def. Brutus Magnus by pinfall with a Running Powerslam to retain the TNA Global ChampionshipThe Pope is backstage with Christy Hemme. Hemme asks Pope that this must be one of the biggest nights in his career and how must he be feeling. Pope says that this is the night. This is the night he has been waiting for. He says that Dick Flair and I have no class Styles have been ducking and dodging him for months but now tonight all the attacks from behind come to an end and it will be just him and Styles locked inside of that cage. Dick Flair and the entire Pope congregation will have to watch and bare witness as the Charismatic, Pimptacular, Hand Clapping, Foot Tapping, Pimp Slapping, Blinging Attire, Always on Fire, The Pope that is D’Angelo Dinero becomes the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Pope has spoken! Lethal Lockdown – Team Hogan: Kurt Angle, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, Mick Foley vs. Team Flair: Mr. Anderson, RVD, Desmond Wolfe, Beer MoneyThis was a really good match. Team Hogan was a man short every time a member of Team Flair came into the match. Sting was the final man to enter. Both teams went at it back and forth. Foley and Abyss were the first two to introduce some weapons. Foley and RVD went up onto the roof of the cage. Foley got knocked out and put onto a table as RVD set up a ladder. RVD leaped off delivering the 5 Star Frog Splash on Foley through the table. Back down in the ring Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett seemed to be working together and taking everyone down. Jeff then grabbed a Guitar from the cage and waited as Mr. Anderson stood up. Suddenly Jeff swung the Guitar and smashed it right over Kurt Angles head. Angle fell to the mat unconscious. Jeff stood over Angles body just staring down at him. Anderson had no idea what to think about what just happened and decided to just crawl onto Angle and pin, 1…2…3! Team Flair def. Team Hogan by pinfall on Kurt Angle after Jeff Jarrett hits him with a GuitarAnderson and the rest of Team Flair all walk up the ramp to celebrate. In the ring Jeff Jarrett is still standing over Kurt Angles body as he just stares down at him. Sting, Foley and Abyss come over to see what’s going on but Jarrett just shoves past them and walks off. Hogan stands at ringside looking angry and sad. Hogan shakes his head at Jarrett as he walks past not happy with what he has done! Single Match – Velvet Sky vs. Angelina Love This was an average match. Angelina was the main one wrestling while Velvet stuck to basic stuff. During the match Lacey Von Erich and Madison Rayne came down and tossed the Ugly Stick over the cage and into the ring. However when Velvet went to hit Love with it she quickly ducked and tackled Sky to the mat. The Beautiful People tried to help further and open the cage door but the referee refused. This brought out Taylor Wilde and Sarita who ran down and attacked the Beautiful People to stop them getting involved. Back in the ring Love went to deliver a Bicycle Kick but Sky ducked it and quickly grabbed the Ugly Stick. Sky began smacking the stick across Love’s body taking her down. Sky then picked her up and delivered The Beauty Mark, 1…2…3! Velvet Sky def. Angelina Love by pinfall with The Beauty MarkHulk Hogan is walking along in the car park as Christy Hemme tries to get a word with him about Jeff Jarrett. Hogan says he has a family emergency and he has to leave right away. However Christy can go tell Jarrett that he wants to see him in his office tomorrow on Impact. Hogan continues walking off when suddenly a long black stretch limo comes speeding along with its lights on bright. Hogan seems to be blinded partly and then suddenly he is hit full on hard by the limo. Hogan goes up and over the limo and lands hard on the floor. The limo quickly drives off as Christy Hemme quickly runs back over along with the camera man who puts the camera on the floor. Some more people run over to see what happened as Christy calls out for someone to call an ambulance. As someone in the crowd of people moves, the camera can just see Hogan laid out on the floor in a pool of blood! Single Match – TNA World Heavyweight Championship AJ Styles(C) vs. D’Angelo DineroThis was a really good match. Both men got in a lot of offense. Styles came down to the ring without Ric Flair tonight which surprised a lot of people. The match was even for a while until Pope went for his DDE but he missed Styles and hit the cage. This brought back the pain in his injured leg which Styles went to work on right away. Eventually Ric Flair made his way down to the ring. Ric was bright red and sweaty as always. Flair began directing Styles with what to do and told him to lock on the Figure Four. Styles tried it but Pope quickly rolled him in a pin, 1…2…Kick Out. AJ Styles was caught off guard and it almost cost him. Styles quickly went back to work on Popes injured leg. Styles went to the turnbuckle and jumped off but Pope rolled out of the way. Pope began to fight back as the crowd cheered him on. Ric Flair however distracted Pope long enough for Styles to fight back and deliver the Pele Kick. Styles got Pope to his feet and delivered the Styles Clash, 1…2…Kick Out. Styles and Flair couldn’t believe it. Flair began to have a heart attack or something outside he thought Styles had the match won. Styles went onto the other side of the ropes and springboarded onto them however Pope quickly delivered a dropkick while Styles was in midair. Pope fought back against Styles but Ric Flair distracted him once again. Styles tried to attack Pope from behind but he moved just in time. Styles went face first into the cage. Pope then quickly followed it up with the D’Angelo Dinero Express, 1…2…3! The Pope def. AJ Styles by pinfall with the DDE to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion After the match D’Angelo Dinero begins to celebrate with his new World Heavyweight Championship as pyro is let off all over the building. After a while money begins to fall all over the arena. The fans are on their feet cheering for The Pope as TNA Lockdown comes to an end!

Hulk Hogan Injured, TNA ReleasesAs seen last night on Lockdown, Hulk Hogan was run down by an unknown limousine. According to tnawrestling.com, Hulk Hogan is in serious condition and has yet to gain consciousness since the attack. Its too early to know his full condition but doctors are working hard to help. TNA Impact will go on Live tonight as normal with Eric Bischoff taking full control until further notice.
Also TNA released several talent yesterday before Lockdown. Apparently Jesse Neal, Raven, Rhino, Awesome Kong, Homicide, Kiyoshi, Shark Boy, & Tomko. Also The Nasty Boys are not expected to return to TNA now that their feud with Team 3D is finished. The Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart has apparently talked to Hogan and Bischoff about staying on longer but no word yet on what he will do if he stays.

Good start to the diary, it will be interesting to see how the hogan accident affects TNA. I like hte Team Flair won lethal lockdown, and jarrett going heel again is good, and a possible feud with kurt angle is solid. Pope winning the world title is weird, i hope the character is ready for it, we shall see. Im interested to see the nash/hall/waltman thing go a bit more. good releases mostly, a lot of those guys weren't going to do much anyways. definitely glad for no more nasty boys. too bad the global title match wasnt as good, hopefully terry gets a really good feud going here.

While I don't think "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero is going to win the title at Lockdown, I think it's a great starting situation for the diary. Let's hope you put Dinero over someone big at the next ppv to solidify his newly found main event role, maybe Jeff Jarrett or Kurt Angle. I like Beer Money being heels, hopefully they're used now. Team Flair winning was good and I really liked the team, RVD being a heel is great. The releases don't annoy me. Homicide, Raven and Rhino are still enjoyable talents in my opinion but if there's nothing for them then releasing them is the right call. Looking forward to this.

I have to say i loved Hogan getting ran down by the limo, it should create a very interesting storyline and it's got me wanting to read more. Surprised at the Pope winning the title but we'll see how you book it. I liked Anderson getting the pin, i think he has potential to do be a star in TNA with some good booking. Glad Team 3D beat the Nasty Boys because i can't stand them tbh. looking forward to more of this.
