I can go to buffalo wild wings and spend 25 bucks on dinner instead of paying that much just for a ticket...

I pay $44 a month for the PPVs, I don't know about you guys, so $40 flat for my girl and I to enjoy it in a new setting is great, in my opinion.

it doesn't sound like that bad of a deal...
but UFC 111 isn't the PPV I would go to see in theaters.

you paid $40 to go somewhere else to watch it, over $44 in your home?

I could see it being exciting if they theatre is packed. Usually at home, its with a few of your friends which might be more comfortable for some but yea, I can see it being fun experience at the theatre

you paid $40 to go somewhere else to watch it, over $44 in your home? Yea... A place with a massive screen, massive sound (it is a theater, ya know) and it's a new experience. And a social one, since we'll be around new people. It will be a great time. Plus, once you get a girlfriend you'll realize it's nice to take them out on "dates." And if you have a girl who considers UFC in a theater a date, you'd love it, too. Okay, maybe that was harsh. But you rubbed me the wrong way.

I go to Buffalo Wild Wings now. They have a 70 inch projection screen and HDTV's all over the place. And it's free too.

I would totally go to a theatre and see a UFC ppv... But not 111 Its not that great of a card. I usually like to go to Buffalo Wild Wings like I said but a theatre would be new and cool. But 111 does not warrant me spending $40 to see it with no food included...

UFC 111 isn't great of a card? GSP/Hardy, Carwin/Mir, Alves/Fitch? Those don't entice you enough?

UFC 111 isn't great of a card? GSP/Hardy, Carwin/Mir, Alves/Fitch? Those don't entice you enough? Im talking about for me personally. I am not a GSP fan and to be honest I dont see Hardy doing much of anything in this fight. I could be wrong but I dont like either man in the main event so theres one reason I wouldnt go and pay to see it in a theatre. Mir and Carwin is my most anticipated fight I want to see... Love them both and cant wait. Fitch and Alves should be great too. But overall when I choose which cards I will see I base it on if my favorite fighters are fighting and on this card there us only two... I dont dislike any of the others they just arent on the top of my favorite list. Im not saying I wouldnt go see it because I am. I just wont be buying tickets to see it in a theatre. Im going to buffalo wild wings...

Closest theater to me showing it is over an hour away, so I won't be going.
