"You're Not in on the Joke" by Cobra Starship pipes through the arena speakers while the camera pans the fans, who are on their feet, ecstatic to be in the arena as WWA's Endurance Eps. #1 eminates from Minneapolis, Minnesota! At ringside, Joey Styles and Jonathon Coachman welcome everyone to the return of WWA to the television airwaves, with a new name, but the same great product!
Before they can go any further, the former Heavyweight Champion of WWA, "The All-American American," Jack Swagger made his way to the ring. The crowd booed Swagger as he grabbed a microphone. He blamed the fans for not supporting him, saying that if he was able to concentrate over their boos, he would still be standing as the WWA Heavyweight Champion today. Before he got any further, "Somebody gonna get their ass kicked..." hit over the speakers and "the World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry made his way to the ring! Henry told Swagger that he didn't sign with WWA to be in a division without a title and that Swagger better find a way to get the belt back or he will turn him into one! Lt. Commissioner Matt Striker made his way to the ring, stopping Henry from turning anyone into a belt. He declared that there was, indeed, a belt being created for the Heavyweight division on Endurance, and that is the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship. Just then, Randy Orton made his way down to the ring, saying that he deserved the title more than either of them, after he was "screwed" out of the World title by Paul Burchill. The three men started to argue, but M.V.P.'s music hit over the speakers. "The Playmaker" made his way out on the stage and declared that he should be the Intercontinental Champ, since he was "the only one who won a match in the past month." The four men start bickering amongst themselves until Striker finally breaks it up, announcing that later tonight, M.V.P. and Mark Henry will team up against Jack Swagger and Randy Orton, and the winning team will compete against one another for the Intercontinental Championship at Risky Business!
Backstage, the Cruiserweights sat around in the locker room talking, when Evan Bourne brought up the fact that he was talking to Beth Phoenix, and she said she was interested in competing for the title. The heels started laughing, but Bourne seemed to be serious. Santino interrupted, asking Bourne if he thought she deserved a title shot. Bourne said no -- not until she defeated somebody, then adding that, friend or not, he would beat her -- just the way he beat Santino. Bourne left for the ring, as Santino again glared at him. Santino grabbed Chavo by the arm, saying he needed his help.

In his office backstage (featuring trophies and championship belts from his boxing days), WWA Managing Partner, Apollo Creed greeted the former Northern Combat judging panel -- Jerry Lawler, Dusty Rhodes, and the recently retired Lance Storm. Creed announced that starting tonight, they would no longer be needed as judges. He said matches were meant to be settled in the ring, so there would be no more judge's decisions. Matches will maintain their 15 minute time limit, with main events being set at 20, and they will be able to end in a draw -- unless they are a championship or contender's match, in which case "the competitors will just have to fight in Round 2!" He then thanked them for their services, but concluded that they were no longer needed.
TAG TEAM MATCH: Bryan Danielson & Evan Bourne vs. The Brian Kendrick & Zack Ryder w/Rosa Mendes
Bryan Danielson and Evan Bourne made their way to the ring first, seperately, before shaking hands in the ring. "Ohh, Radio..." hits over the speakers and Ryder and Kendrick make their way to the ring, along with Rosa. Kendrick had not been signed officially to Endurance or Venom, but was making a special appearance after an impressive debut in the contract battle royal at Reloaded. The match was relatively quick, but all four men showed off some good offense in the back-and-forth contest. In the end, Bourne and Kendrick spilled to the outside and Bourne became distracted when Santino and Chavo appeared on the titantron, knocking on the women's dressing room door. With Bourne watching the tron, Kendrick leveled him with a superkick. He then slid into the ring and chop-blocked Danielson. When "American Dragon" collapsed to his knees, Ryder grabbed him and hit him with the Zack Attack for a pinfall victory!
Winners via pinfall: Zack Ryder & The Brian Kendrick - (7:01)
Backstage, Santino and Chavo talk to Beth Phoenix. Santino said that he wanted to tell Beth about her "so-called friend" Evan Bourne, but he knew she wouldn't believe him, so he brought "the honest" Chavo Guerrero. Santino explained that "Evan had the whole locker room rolling when he joked about you wanting to join the division... I stuck up for you, saying you could beat him. He said you couldn't beat him. He said you shouldn't even get a shot." His words weren't necessarily lies, but he wasn't telling the whole truth. Beth looked visibly upset at the news, and Santino hugged her, apologizing, "I'm sorry you had to hear it this way.. hear that Evan Bourne is not a real friend."
While this is going on, Bourne slowly climbed to his feet outside the ring. He kicked the steel steps in watching Santino's lies and then stormed to the back. Danielson rolled over in the ring, holding his head, and looking upset with Bourne for not helping him.

Backstage, Apollo Creed congratulated Lt. Commish Striker on a job well done out there. He said that he wasn't too sure about the commissioners that Shane McMahon left him with, and if he kept making good decisions like the last one, he might find himself in "a starring role" sooner rather than later. He then said that he would be helping "Stone Cold" with WWA Venom for the first few months, so he was leaving Striker in as the Lt. Commissioner to "keep Malenko from sending the premier WWA show up in flames."
WWA Pound-for-Pound Champion of the World, "The Ripper" Paul Burchill made his way to the ring and grabbed a microphone. He said, "You know, for the past few weeks, everybody has been wanting a piece of me. Everybody has been thinking they deserve a shot at my title, but there has been one man that's kept quiet. One man that's truly deserving of a shot. One man that is undefeated in regular competition in this company. He is the Welterweight Champion, Jay Roclass. So, Jay, if I'm going to prove that I'm the best in this company, I need to beat you." Roclass made his way down to the ring, as always along with Maryse. Maryse started speaking to Burchill in French, while a few English words like "loser" slipped in. Finally, Roclass grabbed the microphone, but before he could talk, the No. 1 Contender for his title, Matt Hardy made his way to the ring. Hardy said that he was a fan at heart, and he would love to see the two of them face off in the ring, but Roclass wasn't fighting anyone until he got his title shot. This brought out the former Real Man's Man, Desmond Wolfe. Wolfe said that if he wanted to fight an undefeated athlete, he should not bother looking outside of his division, because Wolfe, too, had a perfect record. Their bickering led to Commissioner Malenko making his way out on the stage. He said, "You know, my lieutenant got a slap on the back for booking a tag team match earlier, so I guess I can't be one-upped by him if I want to keep my job. So, I see a perfect opportunity to settle this little spat in the ring. Let's put Desmond Wolfe and Jay Roclass on one side of the ring, taking on Matt Hardy and Paul Burchill... and let's do it... NEXT!"

TAG TEAM MATCH: Desmond Wolfe & Jay Roclass w/Maryse Ouellet vs. Matt Hardy & Paul Burchill
The match was already underway when we returned from commercial break with Wolfe and Roclass in firm control over Hardy. The two men dominated Hardy for several minutes before he finally got the hot tag to the champion and Burchill cleared Roclass and Wolfe out of the ring, celebrating. Roclass got into the ring, and Burchill got his wish, going toe-to-toe with the Welterweight Champ. The two men battled back-and-forth for several minutes, until Roclass sent Burchill against the ropes where Hardy tagged himself in. Burchill was then up-ended by Wolfe, who pulled him from the ring and then planted him with a huge lariat. Hardy tried to take control over Roclass, but the champ blocked the Twist of Fate and then countered the Side Effect, planting Hardy down to the mat with his patented STO. Roclass hooked the leg for a pinfall victory. He slid from the ring, wrapping his arm around Maryse's shoulder as they left to the back. Meanwhile, Wolfe grabbed the World Championship belt. He threw it into the corner of the ring and then tossed Burchill in as well. Wolfe tried to set up Burchill for a Tower of London in the corner, but Burchill fought back. Eventually, Wolfe hit a low blow and then was able to set him up in the corner, before driving the champ head-first into the mat, and his own championship belt. Wolfe grabbed the belt out from under him and left to the back with it.
Winners via pinfall: Jay Roclass & Desmond Wolfe - (10:16)
(this pic sucks, I apologize)
Backstage, a distraught Beth Phoenix walked into the office of Commissioner Malenko and Lt. Commissioner Striker. She walked straight up to Striker and demanded a match against any cruiserweight next week, wanting to prove herself worthy of competing in the division! Malenko stood up, and hollered that HE was still the Commissioner, and all match decisions would go through him. He said, "While I don't feel it's very appropriate for you to be competing against the men, I don't feel great about it, I know it is your right as an athlete signed to this company, so I will allow it, but I'm not going to force any man into it. If someone agrees to do it, then we will have the match, but until then, you'll just have to wait."

Backstage, Carlito and Primo Colon entered Apollo Creed's office, shaking the WWA Managing Partner's hand and welcoming him to the business. Primo thanked Creed for the opportunity to join the WWA ranks, and Carlito agreed. Creed said it was a pleasure to have talents of their caliber signing on, and then stopped for a minute as he stared at Carlito's hair. Finally, he broke the silence, "I really like your hair." Carlito looked a little confused, but thanked Creed before they left.
TAG TEAM MATCH: A.J. Styles & Shane Helms vs. Edge & Christian
Styles and Helms are in the ring when we return to the arena, and one-half of Jeri-Show, The Big Show joins Joey Styles and Coach on commentary while scouting his Risky Business opponents in E&C. Edge & Christian make their way to the ring next, and immediately take it to their smaller opponents. E&C begin the match dominantly, but Styles and Helms take over with Edge in the ring, holding him from tagging in the former Welterweight champion. Christian finally got the hot tag and took it to Styles and Helms, eventually ending with he and Styles spilling to the outside. This brought Edge and "Hurricane" into the ring, and they battled it out. Christian's brawl with Styles ended with the Killswitch on the outside, and then Christian stood up and started trash-talking Big Show. Meanwhile, in the ring, Edge leveled Helms with a huge spear and then hooked both legs for a pinfall victory. Edge stood up and celebrated as Christian continued to argue with Show at ringside. Edge slid out of the ring and grabbed Christian, backing him away, and telling Show that they would see him at Risky Business.
Winners via pinfall: Edge & Christian - (7:37)
Backstage, C.M. Punk received a special delivery of flowers, obviously from his most devoted fan, Serena Deeb. Punk set the flowers down on the chair, sighing deeply. Kofi Kingston stood behind him, asking "This isn't normal, man, what are you gonna do?" Punk shook his head, and then rested his forehead in his palm.

Backstage, Jay Roclass stood in a dark room, a light flickering down from above him, while Maryse stood behind him. He said that he was aware of "J.C. Penney"'s issues with the law, that he might find himself in jail sooner rather than later. Roclass said that Penney didn't deserve a match with him, he wanted to take him out -- end his career, but this time around, he wanted it on his turf -- in WWA. Suddenly, the door creaked open and the overhead lights flicked on. Apollo Creed walked into the room, stopping Roclass in mid-sentence, "No, no, no, no... Mr. Roclass, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but there will be NO appearances by a known felon in my company. You could fight him in his company, you can fight him on the street, you can fight him in prison if you want, we all know that's where he's going, but he will not be making any appearances on my show. And I advise you, for that very reason, to get it out of your mind."
WELTERWEIGHT MATCH: Chris Jericho vs. Ted DiBiase, Jr.
Big Show remained at Ringside through the break as Jericho made his way to the ring and had a microphone when we returned. He accused "Stone Cold" Steve Austin of screwing them out of their Tag Team Titles, costing them the match by putting them up against a team they were unprepared for. "But," he concluded, "it's in the past. WE are now going to have to dominate this new, 'Doubles' Division. It should not be a problem, as I don't see any significant upgrades over those we have beaten in the past." Before Jericho could continue, he was interrupted by DiBiase's entrance. DiBiase said the Jeri-Show lost because they got punked out by his former partner, Cody Rhodes, and his brother, Goldust! Jericho asked DiBiase if he wasn't supposed to be shining Orton's boots. DiBiase slapped Jericho across the face, and the match was underway. Big Show climbed out of the ring, and as quickly as the match began, so did DiBiase take firm control of the match, hitting Jericho with just a few high-impact moves before finishing him off with Dream Street! DiBiase then picked up a huge pinfall victory over the former Tag Team Champ! DiBiase slid out of the ring before he could get double-teamed by the former champs. Big Show climbed in, threatening DiBiase as he backed up the ramp, smiling.
Winner via pinfall: Ted DiBiase, Jr. - (2:54)
Backstage, Apollo Creed stopped Dean Malenko backstage. He said, "I thought I might light a fire under your ass tonight," laughing. Malenko looked confused, as Creed continued, saying Malenko was in no fear of losing his job. He added that, while Striker would remain Lt. Commissioner, he would be stripped of some of his powers so that Malenko was legitimately the #1 man on Endurance. He said that he was entrusting Malenko with running the show for the next several months, and he had faith he would not let him down. Creed left, and Malenko let out a deep sigh.

MAIN EVENT | TAG TEAM MATCH: Jack Swagger & Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry & M.V.P.
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry made his way to the ring first, receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd before his WWA debut. M.V.P. made his way to the ring next, and the former Playmaker received a decent pop from the crowd. The former Heavyweight Champion, Jack Swagger, waltzed to the ring next, as the crowd booed him for turning his back on them in the past few months. Swagger started to climb into the ring, but stopped upon seeing the wall of man that stood in front of him, waiting on the apron for his partner. Orton sauntered down to the ring, receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd. Styles reminded everyone that the winners of this match would compete for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship at Risky Business. MVP started out the match for his team, battling it out with Orton and Swagger, eventually falling victim to a severe double team by the two men. Finally, MVP was able to make the hot tag to Henry, who came in and dominated for several minutes, until finally the match boiled over into an all-out brawl. With Swagger battling his former nemesis MVP on the outside, Henry took control of Orton in the ring, overpowering him for several moments. Finally, Orton started to fight back, hitting Henry with his kneel-down backbreaker, but Henry got up from it. Henry took control of the match again, and sent Orton to the ropes, but "the Viper" ducked under a clothesline and then planted Henry with the RKO! Orton then hooked both of the big man's legs for a pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Randy Orton & Jack Swagger - (11:17)
After the match, Henry rolled from the ring, and Swagger had left MVP on the outside. The "All-American American" climbed into the ring with his future adversary and shook Orton's hand. Swagger held on to it and tried to pull in Orton to hit a clothesline, but again, Orton ducked it and then nailed Swagger with the RKO! Orton kneeled over Swagger as the show faded to a close.
