It was amazing. I'm so incredibly bruised and sore today, but totally worth it. I actually got a picture of me getting choked out by the man himself, and I have a gigantic smile on because I'm so excited to be being tapped out by a legend haha.   Same thing happened to me. But i actually slammed Nog so hard on the ground it actually had his eyes roll back for a second (he admitted it when he wrote the auto for my 4 year old son). Anderson Silva came with him and he got frustrated and had his "assistant" step in. Funny thing n my picture (kos, Jon, Swick, Cain, B-South, Thomson's) he does the same pose as he does for you. Guess that's his pic pose. |

Jon Jones just earned himself a spot as my favorite 205'r. I have a special spot in my heart for Tito ortiz but his legendary status and getting me into MMA is overshaddowed by the Tito Ortiz of the past few years... Always a favorite but not the highest of them all just like Liddell. Ive been into Jones ever since I first saw him fight. I was upset that he beat Hamill as I love Hamill too but I was also upset tonight to see Vera lose. But man Jones is awesome. Sick style. Love watching the guy fight...

I think the sky is the limit for Jones. He's young & skilled. I can't wait to see what the future holds for him. I'm glad to see Guida was able to get back on the winning path as well.

Guida by arm-triangle. I gotta see that. Unfortunately it wasn't aired during the live broadcast. But that KO by that Howard guy, wasn't bad too.

That was such an amazing show live. A couple of the fights had screwy finishes, but the 3 KO's and Guida's arm triangle more than made up for it. I haven't gotten to watch the show from TV yet, but Brendan Schaub murdered his opponent. I took a ton of pictures and once i get a chance to sort through them I'll post them here. I was thrilled to get pics with Nate the Great, Shane Carwin, Greg Jackson and Elliot Marshall.

I thought it was a stupid decision to leave Guida off of the main card, that Kongo/Buentello fight was horrible and Buentello's probably going to get cut very soon. Jones' elbows were nasty, Vera's face was broken in three places, and Vera can't even board a plane due to the injuries. Definitely a huge fan of him now, not just because he's a fellow Western New Yorker.
