First off, I don't know if this has been suggested before, so sorry if it has.
The company that makes the Legends of Pro Wrestling figures (spam, i think) could make figures of indie guys such as; Nigel Mcguinness, Chris Hero, Bryan Danielson and Jimmy Jacobs etc.
As far as I can see, the only indie guys unable to have figures made of them would be TNA wrestlers.
So, what do you guys think of that? Also, do you think it would be worth contacting spam to show the demand for such products?

considering noone bought the legends figs (you can get the everywhere for under $3 a pop), i doubt people would buy crappy versions of crappy wrestlers. maybe a few of the smarter fans, but noone in great numbers.

I was never a huge fan of Goldberg as a "wrestler", but as far as figure sales, he was golden. The worst Goldberg ever made would outsell any Danielson or McGuinness. PERIOD.
The next intelligent thing you say, would be the first.
PS - I wouldnt get off my couch to see Chris Hero in my backyard.

But no figure company would release figures of most Indie wrestlers because the general public wouldn't have a clue who they are. Without nationwide exposure to the casual market figures of Danielson, Hero etc wouldn't come close to the worse figures Jakks puts out in their WWE range purely because the majority of people will at least know who the WWE guys are. Now talent wise comparing the wrestlers is obviousy another story but without name value which indie guys are seriously lacking no figure companys would waste money developing them.

if they were quality figs with affordable prices (say $4 a fig) i think parents would buy them for their kids not knowing that they were nobodies. they would just see a well made product that was undercutting the prices of it competitors. still wouldnt be hugely popular, but you gotta figure that people are buying these dollar store bootlegs and giving them to their children as gifts, these would just happen to be a higher quality fig of an actual person (unknown to them).

They could be sold by the wrestlers themselves or the company like ROH or PWG. That way it's only available to those who want them without getting other people saying "who the is this pale loser" (most likely in reference to Danielson).

I agree that the only way it would work is to be done on a small scale and sold online, at the promotions shows, and by the wrestlers themselves at their gimmick tables. Keep it small and it has a chance.
