Well i said i wouldnt but i have Started collecting the mattel line and ive been nothing but impressed so far. Having scale is a breath of fresh air tbh. So far ive got basic series Kane, Mark Henry,HBK, Y2J and Austin. Will post some pics soon. Anyways been looking at the elite figures and am wondering what the scale compared to the basic figures is like. Does the extra join in the torso make the figure bigger? Deluxe jakks figures such as Taker and Kane where good because they were bigger so displayed next to somone like HHH the size diffrence looked good but with the Mattel line already to scale i was worried Elite shawn etc would be as tall as basic Kane. Any info/ pics would be great

yeah, elite and basic are all the same scale. I was worried at first the joint would make the elite less appealing, but everything about them is fine.
They look great with the basic and match up just fine. I highly recommend you pick up the elite. especially if you are impressed by the basic. Not saying elite is better, but the attires and accessories the elite come with are excellent. and are easy to put on or remove.

They fit perfectly together in my league however i prefer basic to elite because of the torso and the feet.
