I give the PPV a 4/10. Only good matches Were Punk vs. Rey and Edge vs. Jericho. Everything else was bleh.

I also have to admit, the main event itself was really entertaining. Batista was on key tonight with almost everything. I thought for sure the F-U through the announce table was the match, but it wasn't. They even pulled out some more spots after that. Really impressed by this match.

What I liked about the ending was that it showed neither man could keep the other down. The ending was kind of weak, but it made its point. True that, adds to Batista's "Cena can't beat me" thing. The whole point of the match is to INCAPACITATE your opponent. Not tie him up. Thank you. That is what THE POINT of Last Man Standing is. Not, get clever and tie up your opponent. |

I just dont know why they didnt have Cena hit the FU on Batista on the steps. I mean they were right there. I want to know who came up with "Lets duct tape his feet around the ringpost".

I really liked their WM match this year so I probably shouldn't be so surprised, but on paper a Batista vs. Cena match sounds pretty painful to watch. My scepticism was proven wrong though; aside from Punk and Rey I'd say that was the best match of the night. |

WWE.com has a picture of Cena holding the WWE Title in front of Red ropes as a way of telling us Cena won. I get they wanted to hurry and get a pic up, but you already have 50 other pics of Extreme Rules with White ropes everywhere.
