Alot of people love the LJN, Hasbros, & BCA's for the same reason - it's what they grew up with. Me personally, I think TTL's (especially the first few series without the RealScan) were one of the worst line of figures ever.

true, they have to be real scan, i mean the hhh and jeff hardy real scans were the best 2 scans of any fig i think. =/ the mean hhh with a lil hair in face.

I feel the same way, I grew up with them and I really like them, also so I can use the headscans to put on RA figures.

The only gripe I had with TTL was the awful scaling on some figures (TTL5 series figs were humungous compared with all the subsequent TTL series's) and non-bending arms on some figs would really tick me off.

Scale has always been a problem with Jakks, so that flaw in the TTL line doesn't bother me much at all.
As far as I'm concerned, Jakks peaked in terms of detail during the TTL era of WWF/E figures. Also, it lasted throughout the bulk of the Attitude era and provided for us many great figures, some of which are still among Jakks' best work.
Of course, this is not defending any of the pre-Real Scan abominations, but acknowledging the excellent effort put forth once the company started to improve upon scans/sculpts.
My favorite 2-pack ever is the Famous Scenes Series 2 HHH and Cactus Jack set. My favorite singles series of that era is Rulers of the Ring (1 through 3 are some of the best ever made). How can you top the imagination of the Grapple Gear/Ring Gear packs during these days? I don't think any company could for wrestling figures, even nowadays.
While BCA holds a special place in my heart (and my collection), I have a lot of memories of collecting TTL 9-11 years ago and wouldn't mind adding some of those figures to my collection again.

I still have a majority of TTL figures, and some of my favourite figures are actually TTL.
I loved how most of the major 'Titan Tron Live' line actually came to Australia, and I was able to procure quite a lot of TTLs for myself and my brother, but in 2003, I saw the RAW X Anniversary Goldust and was intrigued as to the body design...
From there I was amazed at RA, but always had a special place in my heart (as chicago does with BCA) for TTL.

I was never a fan of TTL, I like some of the real-scans, but the bodies are terrible.

TTLs were what got me into collecting as well. i've been pretty vocal about my obsession with the Rulers of the Ring series 2. i ordered the whole set on the internet (one of my 1st internet purchases) - what an amazing set.
also, finding ROTR3 while getting my suit for the prom was also a fun memory i don't think i will forget. along with buying my first few TTLs (Angle, Buh Buh, Hardyz)... and the day we got the first Benoit TTLs (rebellion series?) dang the no bendable elbows!!
overall, the playability of the TTLs coupled with the detail that STARTED to emerge - that we now take for granted - was top notch for its time. TTL will always have a place in my heart. i do regret selling a bunch of them a few years back, but that's life.

I am a huge TTL fan. Still to this day, I keep an eye out on ebay for good TTL deals. One aspect of TTL I love so much is that jakks was willing to just go crazy with the accessories. Like, X-pac TTL 4 had a TV he came with. People had lamps, cameras, search lights, etc. It was just great. The TTL box sets are also some of the best purchases ever. The usually have tons of detail / designs, and like 6 weapons / accessories. And I really like how they aren't as bulky as RA figures.
